If you are in for trading, go for trends. Who would wait for years when you can double your money in months.
If you are in for investment and have no time for the hassle of watching prices move everytime, find a good coin and put some money in it and wait till it x5.

Another way of passive trading+investing is grid trading where you get the profit of price fluctuations till your coin gets to the desired price.

Trading cannot bring constant income, especially if it is margin trading. And to trade on the spot, just buying and selling coins, you need a large deposit for the profit to be tangible. In both cases there is a risk of losing your deposit. That's why it's probably best to just invest and wait.

Bitcoin taught to me to be patient and to focus on Long Term projects. $MUBI is a good option for example a dual sided Bridge on BRC-20. Bitget has the best liquidity and the Market Cap is not released yet (coingecko source)

Bridging dapps are getting frequent target by hackers and if the projects you are talking about are the first of their kind in the BRC-20 ecosystem then they can gain popularity within the industry. I guess you are trying to promote that project but you should give some warning if anyone wants to follow your suggestion. BRC-20 projects gained popularity due to its unique token allocation mechanism but the hype will be over when there is a new trend in the market. So none of these projects are good for the long term.

Holding altcoin for a long time isn't advisable. I could remember this is what I do when I started crypto. I try to buy so altcoin with the little I have hoping to be in profit on holding for a while. But to my surprise, most of this altcoin never give me a positive returns.

Due to the lack of stability mostly experienced with Altcoins, it's mostly advicable to invest according to trend because even some of the projects behind these altcoins are mostly based on the trends and after which they become stagnant and have little to no movement again so it's very important we don't depend or relay on the long term with most of these Altcoins but to rather follow the trend and at the end of the trend we exit because that will be the best profit you can get from some of these coins.

People always chase the trends because that's where the money is. Loads of people who chase trends are gambling and a greater percentage of these people know this but they still go in although they do that with spare money.

When they garner enough profits they look towards projects that have utilities.

It should be the way to go for an investor who knows what to do.

Indeed that he must specify if what altcoin he is referring to. But if let's say it was Ethereum, maybe he is only doing it wrong, like he got greedy to not sell during its peak thinking it will continue to rise. When it comes on choosing on which one, then it would really be that entirely be depending into your choice since not all would really be that risk takers on trying out to deal with those shit coin or meme coins as we do all know but there are ones who are really that a fan on trying out to test this one because they do know that this is where money could usually flow and not into those solid projects that have utility.
There's no way that w could be able to changed up that trend on which people would really be loving on going with those waves specially that there's some trending theme of coins that been launching up.
We can say its shit but surprisingly those coins do make out some noise and hit up multiple time folds if someone do able to get in on the right way.

This is why if you are really planning to engage on both things then it would really be ideal that you should really know on what to split when it comes to funds, making some investment

One is a risk, and another one is an extreme riskier. Trading on the spot market is risky, no doubt about that, but trading margin and futures is extremely risky which means that the chances of you losing your capital in margin trading are way higher than in spot trading. The reason for that is simple, you are not on the verge of losing all your invested capital if a coin goes up or down a certain percentage if you are trading in the spot market, that will only make your position lose or gain value.

However, that's not the case with margins and futures trading, because you are always on the verge of getting liquidated if the market takes a negative turn based on your position being short or long. That's why, margins and futures trading isn't for people who are new to trading as it requires extensive knowledge and experience.

It depends on the perspective that you think indeed in my previous thread I seemed to be too harsh and too generalized about everything in altcoins but in the end I will also not withdraw the words that I have put out because I have experienced being in altcoins even for a certain period of time in the previous few years.
Ethereum is indeed one of the best altcoins at the moment and indeed that is a fact and I will not close the facts about this but indeed in the end my choice remains the same because even in the long run I also will not intend to return to altcoins even if it is ethereum because it is the choice I have made as for other people it is free to do whatever they want because regardless of any choice there is certainly a risk and we are all well aware of what will happen and the risks obtained so this returns to the focus of each in making choices.

I don't think there is a good answer for this other than in the long term pick projects that have value, dollar cost average in and increase your stack steadily so long as it shows promise.  Trends usually bring along the scammers and empty promises.  I like to stay away from these but if you do go in on them make sure you are ready to hop out and don't get stuck with a bag.
