Never try to follow the trend. Just think to stick into the coins that are still having stable chart. Im sure those tokens will be pumped so high. It will be so dumb to follow the trend coz these tokens have been pumped so high. We cna't even expect when a bad news to come.
I refrain my self from buying pumped token. It's quite risky caused by it can go down again anytime. picking long term investment is far better rather than it. To be honest, everything seems already pumped but we have not yet seen new ATH for bitcoin so it's all still under value.

I can only suggest you to find a token that has not yet pumped. It's hard to find that but this is the possible thing to make some money from there. I don't see a better plan than buy non pumped token.

When you invest in altcoins. It is important to careful. It may look like a good idea to invest in coins that suddenly become popular but you should do your own research first.

True, I dunno about meme coins you mentioned but Cardano/Dot failed because there is no community, you rarely see people talking about it on Twitter. Meanwhile, Solana it's rallying hard cause Twitter is filled with people who are speculating on it's airdrops, and some projects like Tensor nft marketplace are actually very good.

depending in which altcoin we are talking because I only choose long term in altcoin when we are talking about Stablished project like Ethereum and the 7 altcoins below that rank so yeah I know that there are chances of them hitting good in Bull market.

but if this is like Shitcoins or those Meme coins that some are scams and others are pump and dump? no I don't think that i need to support those.
instead of investing in those coin? I would rather choose Bitcoin for more and safe investing.

The majority of the altcoins do not have the potential to survive for the long term. You can only get profit from these coins if you have luck on your side. I have seen many altcoins, which were once over $250/ coin, and now they are under $10/ coin. They are good for making short-term profits, but the associated risk is too high. Many altcoins you are seeing now will be wiped out of the market in a couple of years. Buy them at the start of the alt season, get profit and exit. Do not reinvest your money in altcoins for a few years/ till the next bull run.
Invest only in BTC and ETH if you are going for a long-term investment. ROI in BTC and ETH investment will be similar to those altcoins, but the risk will be much lower.

If it's long-term, I don't think much about altcoins, but I think the crypto market is all about everyone, and each has different knowledge and approach strategies.

The problem is still balancing risk/return in investing, and this does not have a specific formula because each person will have an approach corresponding to their perception of the market. All coin cannot give you profit and most of them are only profitable according to trend but after sometimes they become useless. The better way to earn money is that buy a coin according to trend and if it slightly pumps then sell your coin immediately because there is no guarantee that after year it will be same successful or will goes into dip.

For long term project etheruem and BNB is the best option whereas all other altcoins if holded longer then they can increase risk instead of giving profit to you. Short term. Even the longest I've held for altcoins was a maximum of 4, close to 5 ish months. And this is with reputable coins. If it was recently released coins I'd at most hold them for a month and nothing more. The altcoin market is just that risky imo and rather unsuitable for long-term investment. I just don't trust it that much, or well hasn't established as much trust as Bitcoin has with me. Especially with newer coins. The majority of them are shit coins and most of them that pump are just pumps made by the team themselves or some whale wanting to manipulate to profit.

If you want to maximize profit then taking the long term would yield the max results since it has the highest risk, but if you just want to take profit, just shorting them would be enough. It's not too late to short them again when the market once again grows.

Actually it is not guaranteed that project we choose for long term will definitely give us profit. sometimes we purchased coins for long term but the project failed and doesn't perform in the bull season. Similarly investing in trend and hyped coins are not risky as much as we think . If anyone has experience of taking profit in short term without taking too much risk then he could make a profit which a long term holders even cannot think. it's al about strategy, how we use and good strategy will gives profit in short term.

it depends on the amount of money you have and what kind of investment you're looking out for.

But then, what if you use like 60% of your set out money for long term investment while the remaining 40% can go into short term investment. The guy thing about making this kind of choice is that if anything goes wrong along the way, you know that you don't have serious challenge because it won't be a serious problem since you've technically diversified your investment.

IMO, there's nothing wrong following the trend. If these people can afford to follow the trend and they know that it may be a fad or an actual trend and they're able to follow it.

It's best to  be sure about the coin before investing not 100% sure cause no one can be 100% sure about crypto like choosing the coin that will make profit in the bull market I will prefer the long term but it doesn't guarantee profit in the market just like what you said making profit in the market needs a strategy and not all investors can make same profit.
Have said this before investing on hyped coins is not that bad but it depends on the coin not everyone gets the luck to earn profit in short term.

I think we should also take look on the trend nowadays. Like putting some on the latest tech or projects that are risen up. Not all long term or old projects can always retain their position on the market thats why we need to look for something new and can have a good upside. Not all projects can do a lot of pumping so we should follow trends too.

You have a choice of both, you can choose a long-term investment with a larger percentage but you can have a project trend that explodes but you have to be a gambler sometimes indeed trending projects always generate higher profits that we think and there have been many projects coming with high token values that clearly give you profits, although it is not recommended to be long-term on a new token.

You can see some tokens have exploded they have also generated from various airdrops up to hundreds of dollars that have been earned, it should follow the new project from the beginning that contributed a lot.

If you do not have the expertise in analyzing new projects it is better not to do it, because not all new projects will produce just more losses because it is like gambling.
