What is your suggestions about profit from altcoins. Should we rely on only buying long term projects or we should invest according to trend despite of looking that trends coin will have no value in future?

We analyze the market with several established altcoins in the market. But we constantly see numerous altcoins floating in the market. When it comes to long-term projects, we always prefer Bitcoin. Investing in altcoins can be a good way to make money, but it also comes with risks. Although we can see the growth of the crypto market so far. Many investors are wondering which altcoins to buy for great profits, when we see that most altcoins in the crypto market have already recovered from the lows reached in the past year, but there are still many top altcoins that have not pumped. The big challenge is which alt coin to choose for long-term investment.

Well for alt coins I do think if you want to find the next initial coin offering for really fast gains it will not happen. I think those days are over now and we should only invest in alt coins with big marketcaps.

It is just a big risk to invest in new alt coin projects. We have seen so many exit scams and 'rug pulls' over all the years. It is best to invest in alts like Ethereum that we know will still be here many years in the future. That we can not be so sure for a new project.

Depends on your skills because you need to have proper knowledge while you are investing in some trend coins because there are certainties that you need to rush to sell your coins because they reach their peak, and after that, they will gonna fall dramatically and it won't have any assurance if it's gonna recover in the future. OP is not talking about new projects , infact he asked about coins which is trend based and usually trend remains for specific time and then lost interest of investors. gamefi, AI, Web3 tokens are usually work on trend. Sand , Mana pumped to 4$ in the trend and now price is low and same with other coins. It is not necessary that trend coin will be new token. Well your profit of altcoins really depends on the market conditions. Yeah it is true that when you invest in it really comes with a greater price. I mean the bigger amount you invest, the higher profit you will get but it would really put your money at risk just like I said it really depends on the market.


It's not a big deal if you can do both by buying long term projects and at the same time investing into trend coins that you mention, I mean they're just temporary but it brings a hype to people. Make sure and estimate that you should invest during its boom or hype period, because when the temporary trend coins fade, you may not receive anything or you will lose more than what you invested. Though I'm not a fan of risking your hard-earned money on useless crap and shitcoins that have no intrinsic value or growth potential to provide, I believe there is nothing wrong with taking calculated risks sometimes to maximize your profit potential. By calculated risks I mean spending only amounts that one can afford to lose because you never know what happens when you are trading meme coins or coins that gain and lose value very quickly which means they carry high risks.

So, what I think is that a person should have most of their capital invested in safe cryptocurrencies which they know will give them at least some profit when there is an uptrend going on in the market, but they should also make small investments here and there when they see profit potential.

If we want a more safer approach, then we shouldn't FOMO at a trend.

Diversifying is a good strategy but you can still do it without the help of the coins who are at the trend. Diversifying's purpose, is supposed to reduce the risks, (not to add more), by adding different kinds of trendy coins.

Well, in altcoin investment, as long as you are willing to risk losing some funds,  you can carry on investing in any token that you think will definitely do well during the bull market. It's true that some altcoins do pump very much during the bull market; that's also how an investor is not 100% sure which or which particular coin will pump and which one will dump so badly. While expecting an altcoin to give you a 100x profit, don't forget that it could happen the opposite way. It doesn't matter which altcoin one is investing in; only invest the amount that will not affect you when lost.

I don't follow coins that are trending because they are not suitable for the long term, but it's like gambling, it's better for me to buy long term coins even though my portfolio doesn't increase that significantly compared to coins that are trending, it can increase up to 1000x but it can also make our money disappear. Just invest in coins that are long term and have a good future because we also invest with the expectation that sometimes investments do not make a profit or loss but also maintain our own wealth. I quite agree with your opinion because with long term investments you're sure that when their bull run comes, you'll make enough profit that'll be worth the waiting.  Personally I like to minimize my risk, that is why I like to go for crypto coins that I'm sure that they'll not fade like some hyped coins, it's better for me to invest in Bitcoin and top altcoins, than trend tokens. Buying new altcoins are like staking money in casino games, you'll accept whatever outcome, whether win or lose, whereas in Bitcoin and top altcoins, it's a sure that you'll gain in the long run.

investing in both is good but sometime I see it as a somewhat ineffective way to invest, we trying to get best of both worlds, but will also get worst of both worlds if we are not careful, I think OP here just trying to find the best most profitable way to invest and its whether based on trend or long term, indeed in trend we can get some good profit just within short amount of time because everyone else is doing the same investing in that kind of project so it matters whether we are early or not, meanwhile with long term, the project is judged by the long term progress, whether it dumps or it didn't currently doesn't matter that much because its for long term.

in my opinion i'd instead pursue for the trend if i want easy quick profit meanwhile long term if i got big capital because its easier to avoid the risk of losing money as well as still making some profit at the end of the day, its just the time frame is longer.

Yesterday, Binance confirmed listing with other shit coins BONK and price suddenly up drastically, need more longer time for BONK reach higher price and have one investors invested $1000 with that shit coins and today earned profit almost $27,000.
