I lost. I kept it for a few years but decided to sell it at some point. I haven't lost too much so I don't really regret it, but still. I don't believe that it will be near it's previous ATH again.

Even though your fine fine with current lose you encounter with Dogecoin still its a waste of opportunity to earn since imagine if we just sell it when ATH still there you could possibly secure a lot of profit with that. But incident like this happen and a big lesson that need to learn from so for now I guess people need to avoid getting hype by any influential people since they are also the cause of downfall of its price just like what happen to Dogecoin.

I also believe that it will get a hard time to reach for its past ATH or record a new high since same what Musk did to it it need another hype that can surpass its pass growth but I believe to many people done with it especially those whales got trap when sudden price fall happen to Doge. I heard a lot of sad stories including those supposed to be Dogecoin millionaire but unfortunately he became broke and the value he hold cost so less at the moment.

I never bought Doge but some people I know closely did. I think you were just unlucky to still hold Doge when the price dipped. Perhaps, you bought when the price was already at the top. I know it must be painful but that's how crypto is. However, Doge remains one of the coins that can pump when the bull market returns. So I would just advice to continue holding and not think too much about it to avoid jumping into depression. I still hold some coins I bought in 2007.

Meme coin should not be your first choice when you were thinking of a serious investment plan. I did not lose any money investing into dogecoin but for those who are still interested in meme coins, let me tell you this. Investment plan for this kind of coins should be considered as a side investment plan. It says, only in this what you can afford to lose. But with meme coins, I will say that after investing what you can afford to lose, if there is something left in your hand that has no use, you start to invest into memecoin.
There are no sure possibilities that this kind of projects will skyrocket. Maybe it will be a success or maybe it will go down in history. So just to be on the safe side, take this investment as a hobby and not a serious thing.

To be honest, I lose some of the money. It was that time, when Elon Musk just supported doge and it just boomed in price. I didn’t trust Elon Musk, nor the dogecoins, hence I didn’t buy it. But later on when the price fell down and it was going up frequently, I thought to buy the coins and cashout some profit from it. But sadly when I bought the coins at cheap price, it didn’t go up and rather it fell in more price. Hence for that I suffered from some losses. From that day, I promised myself to not go for these shitty altcoins.

Crypto may be funny, you can't really predict the lowest low. Imagine when you think you are buying the low, and the low you bought became a high when you see more low. This also happened to BTC, just that you can keep BTC for a long time to attain profit but it's not really easy with altcoin. Keeping altcoin is just like burning ones money gradually as the altcoin may go dip and never witness a pump in it's life time.

Looking at many of the altcoins we have in the market now, we need to be very careful how long we are holding them. There are some altcoins that just need to be hold for some times before we sell them. Not all projects worth to be hold for a very long time and this is what many investors do not know. Doge coin is a good projects and we can decide to hold it but we should be more focused on the profits aspect. We should go in fully for the profits alone not to hold for as long as possible.

Maybe I am one of them, but not too much money. Because at that time I was just late in taking profits and you could say I was a little greedy because I expected prices to rise again. but in reality, none of that was achieved. And in the end I still hold these coins to this day because in the past I had no other choice but to hold them. And that was enough to teach me valuable lessons regarding several things. just like don't play with high risk altcoins if we are not high-risk takers, don't be too greedy, and be realistic. Well, that's a lesson that can be learned, because fortunately it wasn't a large amount, and I don't need to regret it because it was my mistake.

I remember when DOGE was worth less than $0.01. It was often overlooked by many because of its inexpensiveness and ever-growing supply. After all, the creators of the coin said it was nothing more than a "joke". It took one man to lead the cryptocurrency all the way to fame. If I knew someone like Elon Musk was going to endorse the "meme" coin, I would've bought lots of DOGE to sell it after the "big pump". While I didn't lose any money, I also didn't make any.

I regret not taking the opportunity of a lifetime to become filthy rich. Perhaps, that's why new "meme" coins began to appear. People who missed the train are now investing in Dogecoin alternatives with the hopes of becoming rich in the short-term. But I think it's already too late. Dogecoin will eventually lose its value, as Elon Musk moves on to the next big thing in crypto. The future can't be predicted, so lets hope for the best.

best opportunity of course to buy when the price hitting bottom like you, but I guess we might no see that bottom again from here on for the simple fact that we are currently at bullish and yes at the price point it still might be well worth it to buy the coin but honestly, we never know with meme coin because the latest rally almost all altcoin have some big rally and they are hitting above 50% even go as far as almost ten times initial price like basically solana. but most of meme coin are kinda unfazed not moving from its price from where they got stuck after their massive meme coin pump back then.
I honestly doubt that meme coin like doge that has established big enough market capitalization to be able to keep up with the new meme coin and also new altcoin because everytime they always present unique feature and gimmick.
right now doge coin already hitting quite high enough market capitalization i bet the best rally that it could have probably around 10%.

I still believe dogecoin will still do better in the next bull run. There is something certain I know in this crypto space, as some people are losing hope in this token, some are also looking towards it as a most to hold towards the next bullrun.

One should not miss the opportunity to invest in dogecoin because Bull season is very close so already beneficial coins will show promising future. Dogecoin is now increasing and will definitely be a good coin although risk is analogues with each and every coin of Crypto market due to unique feature of unstability.
 
Actually the announcement of Elon musk about doge coin alter the future of doge coin and from then people are often engaged in this investment and it also gives profit to its holders. Today the market is slightly down but it will be a foolish idea if we are not buying our desired coin due to the dream for more severe dump.

I am one of those who experienced losses due to Dogecoin investment. I was wrong in my thinking because at that time I thought Dogecoin was backed by the richest man in the world so there was a chance it would become popular. I really regret why I didn't learn at that time that altcoins will have a bull run period where the price will rise and if they can't maintain their popularity then get ready to go down. Actually I made a little profit at that time because I bought DOGE at around $0.1 and the price once touched $0.4 but my wrong thinking was that I chose to hold it for a long time.

That's FUD actually but think about it, Dogecoin actually was created as a joke and only was supported by the community, if the community lose trust to the coin it's really not going anywhere but Dogecoin really have a huge community so I don't see it losing value anytime soon, though I wouldn't personally hold Dogecoin as it's a much volatile coin than others.

Those people who lose to Dogecoin are the one who buys when it's getting hyped before crashing and still chose to hold rather than selling it and I think they are a lot.

Op you sound like someone who really believe in the coin before it's price start depreciating, anyway sorry for your loss. Memecoin are the trending coins in this era, but the problem is, after attaining a good height in price, they tend to turn backwards or crash to price zero. I have not tried investing in meme coins not to even talk of other altcoins, the risk associated is not worth trying for me. However I don't think there is any hope of dogecoin regaining it's price to ATH any time sooner, but if you still feel like investing in memecoin I'll advise you look for another one.

Oh, sorry about that, I never lost in any cryptocurrency, and the reason is that I have been around of the investment for a long, so I got to know when the dangers are coming. Dogecoin was a very good name in the last bull run and opened the door for many other meme tokens due to its success. Many made their millions of dollars with a few thousand, this is just as some would lose too. The only difference here is that some are more informed than other people while the other people are lucky as some might even gamble in the market and still get to win. But really, it is good that we know what we do in the market, not that we just gamble our money, that is what causes many losses. Imagine those who were just hearing of dodge coin when it is nearing its all-time peak.

Such would believe that since others are making money from it, they too can. But that is not how an investment works, there are seasons, and if you invest at the wrong season, I'm afraid, you will lose. But for how cryptocurrency is, everyone that still waits for a good one like Dogecoin might eventually gain back their money if they can be patient. And for you who lost a little then, you might want to invest back again, you can't lose if you hold it for about 1.5 years.

Investing in the Meme token in the long term is not a good idea, those who pump such currencies do not focus on one thing for a long time, they do not care what happens to the coin, the main thing for them is to make a profit here and now. I still invest a little of dogecoin. As I mention that it will not go it's high position spot. But, It takes a good position in future. It will never rip or die position. It will take position but look to be patience as you can and just hold it.
