I will advise you to have all the networks. To get each network sim card is very cheap and they do come with many offers. Go for MTN, Etisalat and Airtel and see the best one that have network in your area.

If you do not want to buy the SIM cards, look for the one that its mast is closer to your house or where you are browsing. The closer the mast the better the network.

I can recommend MTN because I have been to so many places outside my state and it remains the most reliable.

My brother this tin way u dey talk, I dey experience am well well for Glo network, I had data on my line but I wouldn't be able to use it, I really got frustrated, though i have other lines like MTN but omo the way them dey drain data no be here oh, i can confidently use Glo 2g for over a week, but i can never try that one with MTN, its as if they don't give you complete amount of data when you buy. Glo have their lapses but I still feel they give good amount of data that is sustainable.

All this their network issues dem, na why I never still buy Glo sim, though na them be the best for data offers and Dem sabi customer. But that their network issues just too much, the worst tin wey go happen to person na make e go use Glo sim as em bank ussd transfer sim, because Glo network com join bank own, that na very big network combo . Me na Airtel I dey use, and I'm satisfied with the offer wey Dem dey give me.

something times all this network issues dem na from our phones, I dey experience some kind time wey my phone network go just dey slow or nor dey even work sef wen I sti get data, so until I put the fone for airplane mode come commot am, before e go come dey operate normal. So most times you fit dey try this technique.

The the second technique wey I go recommend na say, if your fone network dey slow down, while you get data, just go your call side for the phone as if you wan dial number. Den dail *#*#4636#*#* you go come see some options, pick phone information, then just go down to where the you go see preferred network select LTE which is 4G, then just minimize go back to your browser or wattin you been dey do, you go observe say the network go come fast.

Follow the pictures direction and you'll be just fine.
Note: this one nor dey work for all phones especially Samsung, though I never try am for iOS(iphone) but e dey work for other Android device wey I don try

Best network for me is Airtel because over the time,  I have taken the time to try all the network in Nigeria in terms of internet services and how fast their are in their browsing speed. After all, many times this is what most forum members from this part of the world are experiencing in terms of internet service providers.

Aside from the Airtel, I suggested you can have MTN as a backup sim for your browsing also and these two are top on the list.

Among the worst,  Etisalat still comes worst of the worst,  you can try them in my area and many other places,  Glo may be regionally different because I can still remember when I was an undergraduate Glo was the best in that region so we can't write them off.

Glo is going to lose a lot of customers from their network. Their network is very bad that people are always complaining yet they are not doing anything about it. Glo network was one the top three in the country but I don't think it is in that position again. Their customer service offices are not helping matter. Last month I went to their office in location to retrieve my glo line and before I went to office I had done two network both MTN and Airtel and I did it with just a thousand naira but when I went to glo office they told me that they retrieval is 3k. Omen I left the office without retrieving.

Haaa people still dey use Glo, if you dey use glo for dis country u just dey waste time and money, most of the places wey I dey always go, na Glo dey worst pass I come dey even imagine why people still dey use am, because how network go dey but I no go dey enjoy browsing with am, Na only two network provider I know say e dey okay for dis country and na Mtn and Airtel. For anyone experiencing bad network for Glo depends on where em d stay. As for my side, there is nothing like Glo network for my side, that makes people around my locality not to try using Glo at all cos using am, na soso bad bad network you go d experience d go, which no make sense.

This bad network from Glo don deny them for gaining more customers for their side more especially from people living for South East Nigeria. They will Glo d conquer ground na for North and Western Nigeria, while for East and Southern Nigeria their network no d strong compare with North and Western states.

I don't know wetin be Glo problem of not choosing to mount their network mars all over the country, no be sae them no get the funds to do so. Whatever be the case, they should try do the necessary to stand and compete with Mtn and Airtel for network. You speak my mind too. I will definitely advise you to use different networks like I do currently. As we speak, I have MTN, Airtel and Glo Sims on my phone. One is a physical sim and I converted the rest to E-SIM and can easily switch over the esims whenever I'm in need of them. I do try to recharge them time to time and use them for calls at times just to keep them active. But since many people in Nigeria if them no reach 90% them fit near, na MTN network so when MTN network cut for his instance, you go see say many people go automatically they unreachable even if you have another line you can reach out to people with. Na the koko be that. If not, Nigeria and network glitch na 5 and 6.

It's happening everywhere my brother. In my area I can't stream ordinary videos on YouTube.Was told by insider that the problem stems from mismanaged human & Financial resources by the owner of the business. They said they run the business like the way politicians are running Nigeria to the extent that diesel will not be available at BTS or some functioning parts are not available and owner refuses to approval money for replacements. Well Inasmuch as I know, it's general not only glo network because I recalled some days back when my Airtel network was fluctuating like I was really pissed because i was doing some important things online when I started experiencing it but there is something I observe, during festive periods like this i normally experience difficulty with networks and don't know if anyone have had same experience with me so i think maybe it's as a result of the weather conditions during this period.

Op this thing no dey only happen to you for this Glo sim card. For some days now I have been having issues making calls with my Glo sim card o, I go call person e go pick I no go hear way thing the person they talk. I did not experience the data issue because I did not use Glo sim in browsing. I don comot my Glo sim card for my phone put Mtn sim card, na Mtn I they use now, and in no they worry me. You should know which network is strong in our country, if you just need a better network buy MTN and Airtel and you will enjoy it because it is very strong and will not give you problems, you can only enjoy calling with glo sim but when you are on data he can't function very well and your data will expire without enjoying it. I believe that only MTN has a solid network because no matter where you go, you will be able to enjoy it even if there is no strong network in the side. Since I bought mtn and airtel, they have not given me wahala even if mtn misbehaves airtel will continue to perform well.

Glo Sim and Etisalat are weak networks that you can't enjoy when downloading or searching in the Internet unless you are in town that have strong network, because if you go to some village you won't get network of some network but you can get mtn or airtel inside them, so I will advise you to just buy mtn and airtel and you will enjoy it and you won't complain like you are saying Glo is doing

OP, E good say you get all the sim card network, so when need like this arise you go fit sort am out. If you dey normally change location you go understand say different places dey get good network pass the others either MTN, GLO, AIRTEL among this three one must get good network wey better pass the other. You fit change the sim use incase you want use am for something important.

GLO na network wey I don abandon for years now, wetin vex me wey I stop dey use dem na d day wey I sub my SIM with N1000 dat time. That time na big money and na 1 month subscription. Till d day the subscription go expire, even a kilobyte of dat data I no get am use. I call dem customer care tire and still nothing change oo. Na so I no use the sim again so tey dey steal the phone wey d sim dey, I just kukuma forget am because even welcome back I no do. GLO dey give better offers for data but, their network na crap.

Sometimes if Mtn do you strong thing, you go regret why you are using mtn, i don't know for some of una side maybe una dey experience that with Mtn too, through out a day you will be using Mtn network to browse you will not face any problem, but when is night that is when Mtn will be doing as if someone do not have any subscription on it, the best thing be say make person have all the network, at least two is even okay, if one start misbehaving you can able to switch to other one and make sure you always have subscription on it, because like i no even trust any network, sometimes people will be complaining about each network that they are misbehaving, some other times they will be praising them that, this are the best, this are the best, if not since when they have been praising glo that when it comes to browsing they are the best, they give cheap offers, till now i have not use it before and this the same network you are complaining about.

You don really give am advise to add other networks just incase and for somebody wey dey always dey online, omo the person still need to support at least one more network including MTN.

So Op, you go just need close eyes go get MTN and you go surprise say that small network coverage from MTN go better pass when you get full network indicator for your phone from other networks.

First, MTN changed their slogan from "Everywhere you go" to "What are we doing today", because they know that they are really not everywhere like their slogan claims. MTN can sometimes and in some places as poor as Glo can be. So person for Nigeria need to get like two of more sim cards to be able to switch to the other if one has poor reception.

It cost a lot to install a Mast, Service providers have to be sure that they can make back the money they have used to invest in these masts before they approve such a project. Some areas already dominated by other service providers and places with low population are discouraging places to set up masts.
