Well, it's not bad what you are doing but it would have been much better if you had done it when the price went down to $17K, not now when it is not so far from the highs. If the historical pattern repeats itself the price is not going to break above the previous ATH of $69K until the end of the year or next year, and you are going to see several ups and downs until then, so if that happens I hope you don't get desperate and sell. In any case, better to accelerate purchases now than when the price is much higher.

You think this is the right time to buy Bitcoin, is like you are among those that missed the opportunity last year when the price of Bitcoin decreased to $18,976 that caused many investors to used the opportunity wisely to purchased huge amount of Bitcoin. I think, majority of investors are waiting for the bullish season to appear before they can start selling their Bitcoin to make income from their investment, which we know that bearish season has few weeks before the bullish will take place. It is not a win for the Bitcoin community because Bitcoin was meant to be a decentralized, P2P currency and over time it's becoming very centralized currency that's easily speculated, i.e. it's price gets easily pumped and dumped by those who have enough power. The last accident of SEC earlier twitter leak is a good proof of that, as the involvement and influence of BlackRock to get Bitcoin ETF accepted despite the fact SEC didn't want to actually approve it.
Bitcoin ETF approval was only good in terms of financial gains as it will attract billions of dollars over time. To be honest, it's hard to say whether halving will have a huge affect on Bitcoin's price or not because ETF should bring enough money to pump it up.

What did actually ETF bring? Yes, institutional funds is starting to flow but it isnt really that something we can see as of this moment but rather the market did make
out some retracement on which the thing i didnt like. If we do try to look on to those recent events on which they are really that good on manipulating the market on which they did make out some
sudden issues then it did drop the market but ending up on approving ETF which it did make out some moving up in price and then later on then did make out that official statement
then the market did move into the different path.

Coincidence? No it is really just that simply being manipulative and this is i dont like when government or institutions is really that joining up the game. They do really tend to
control on everything on which it is something that they cant really be able to control on.This is why they are making things according to their likes

Kudos to you bro, just keep buying if you have not bought it before. But for me who started buying in 2022, I have sheath my sword for now, the market status is not encouraging me to buy yet further. But the best approach is what you are engaging in, the DCAing approach is good when the investor is confused about what the market would do and when the price of the market is somewhat high just as what we see now. You are wise to have to resolve into this.

And by it, you will average your risk and it is for the best. Though Bitcoin can't be too outstanding again when it comes to dangerous buying in multiples, but one can still be smart to buy at a better price which is what the DCA is doing for you. But for me at this point in time, DCA or not, I am not buying anymore, I want the market to decide further. it has played a major role. it's just the SEC approved the ETF at a time when the market had been over-bought already and so those who bought at the top are wrecked. they know the BTC price is about to dive so they approved the ETF. but you could still see it surged to $48k. but those who bought are likely not aware and not watching the chart. its manipulated.

but once the price dipped i think down to $38k, the price may just be coming back up again. some speculations were saying the price could drop to $30k.  i think buying at this price will be better.  people could only hope it will dive that low.

Congrats, but I think majority has been filling their bags already since like a year or two years ago and maybe still buying at this point but they have already a good amount in their wallet. Nevertheless, I do agree that this is still a good time to buy, just whatever amount you can to continue to stack sats and HODL and then wait till in grows in value in the next bull run. Definitely the feeling is great once you see it grower during the bull run and maybe you are thinking of what you are going to do with your profits,  . We should not wait for the market price to reach 30k because there is no guarantee that the price will be reached, but taking advantage of DCA is the best investment step to buy whenever the market price is correcting because I am sure the market will recover soon at the end of February.

Some market conditions indicate a correction below the price of $40k due to market panic selling high due to the influence of ETF fomo, but indicators of price recovery will recover quickly after the market correction period ends.

If you buy bitcoins with DCA method then it is possible to buy bitcoins with this DCA method at any time. As this will be a long term hold, DCA method is definitely better to hold for long term. I would suggest you to hold also. Why you selling these high valued coins in so much less price. Bitcoins are way more valuable than the current price. People are buying in preparation for the next halving and expected bull season. As long as we are buying Bitcoin and potential altcoins, earning huge during this bull season is possible. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at $42k and quite we missed it when it was below $40k but still a good buying price believing that it reaches another ATH which is probably over $60k.

But have to warn you OP to keep your wallet keys secured or use a hardware wallet if you hold more Bitcoin just to ensure that you will enjoy the rewards, not these hackers.

Selling now or later doesn't matter - as long as it's what's best for them. So far there are many useful strategies to practice to increase your assets - but some of investor may be very comfortable with buy and hold. I know it's everyone's preference - so there's no forcing about what's best and what's not to do.

Could the OP had selected a better point in time to enter the market? Of course, but buying bitcoin before the halving is still a good move, after all even if bitcoin experimented a mild bull run, I still expect it to at least reach 100k at some point, so anyone investing now will get roughly 150% on profits, which is not small at all, it may seem small but only when compared to the previous movements bitcoin produced, but when you compare it with what you can get in other markets even those profits are huge.

I don't think many people bought bitcoin when it dropped below $20k because then fear prevailed rather than excitement. I remember when bitcoin fell below 20k$, many people kept waiting for bitcoin to fall below 15k$ to buy but in the end that didn't happen. I even know some people who believe bitcoin will fall below $30k again and they haven't bought anything so far. I can see the joy in you, friend, that is good but be careful and ensure that you are more vigilant than being excited. And by what you have described as what you did about your investment in the coin, I can say that you might have been wise to DCA judging by the time you wrote this topic. If not, you would have regretted buying at a higher price which Bitcoin has moved lower from and we do not certainly know the fate of it in the next months. Regardless, DCAing means that you must have been buying it at some random levels that can't be an issue again, especially if you bought at around $40,000 before it made some significant rebounds, then you are doing well, bro.

Besides, Bitcoin is an asset that we can trust over a long period of time, it has its bullish seasons, which is why everyone is so confident of it that if it falls at times, it will rise back. Good for you, that means that you're going to get a really huge profit, your only problem now is the temptation to sell so quickly for a small profit when you can potentially hodl a little longer, the way you speak about it is that you're confident that you van hodl for a long time so I'm believing what you're saying. What about ETF do you welcome with such joy? Is it fun or does it make your heart beat faster? After the approval turns out to not match expectations, investing in Bitcoin must have a thorough plan. You might have a little fomo because it seems like after approval everything doesn't make sense. But this is the Bitcoin and crypto market is always difficult to predict. So always remain rational and have a good investment plan according to your considerations. Don't think too much that everyone can get rich overnight. My thoughts are the same.Buying or selling because ETF spots are approved or not does not seem a very informed decision, let alone a smart one. And in fact, after the ETFs were approved, what happened was a dump, where many people who bought for the same reasons as the OP are sure to sell and lose money. Looking at the long term and what bitcoin is, rather than whether or not something external to it is approved, is a more sensible way to invest.

I went with Fidelity’s ETF because I liked the idea that they aren’t using Coinbase for custody to diversify the space. So happy for you on your Bitcoin journey, the approval has come to play but why haven't we seen any sign of it like we should be seeing a drastic move of Bitcoin price starting from when it was approved, but we're still having same amount up till this moment. For quite some time now, large exchanges and funds have a huge amount of bitcoins, so the worst has essentially already happened. And now they dictate where and how they will move forward; nothing depends on small traders for a long time.The moment was lost as soon as large monopolistic exchanges appeared and when hundreds of different altcoins appeared on the market. So now we can only adapt to the current conditions and guess what the giants are planning.

i didn't invest in bitcoin because bitcoin etf was launched, i invested because bitcoin has potential in the future and investing my money in it was the wisest decision. because if you put your hope in bitcoin just because of the bitcoin etf alone and it doesn't go according to what you expected, then it seems like you will quickly sell the bitcoin you hold. but if you invest in the potential of bitcoin, then you can hold it for a longer period of time.

You're doing the right thing and you'll be happy you started DCAing when the bull market comes finally because you'll be making big profits. I was buying already before Bitcoin ETF approval and I haven't stopped buying, I'm dcaing the small amount I have as I don't have much money for now but I make such I don't miss buying Bitcoin every month. I'm making it a habit so that when I start making big income I won't fall back but continue buying and increasing the quality of Bitcoin that I'll be holding for the bull market. There is nothing wrong with making investments and doing DCA, just make sure that you are not being irrational with your investments and investing more money than you should because even if Bitcoin is proven to be profitable in the long run, one isn't supposed to invest money that isn't supposed to be used for investments because the cryptocurrency market is highly unpredictable and it might not always go the way you might have been expecting it to.

We are still at the recovery phase, in my opinion, and it's not the bull run because generally, based on historical events, the bull run starts a few months from the halving event, and the halving event is yet to occur which is scheduled for April and we still have more than 40 days for it.

When we talk about the price of Bitcoin, if I am honest, I think we have got enough for this month, the price has become a bit stable between $51k to $53k now, and it keeps going up and down just within that range. It's a bit confusing whether it will have a correction from this point or will go up further, but in my opinion, it is most likely going to correct itself first before it goes up towards $55k.

Honestly, when I first heard that the Bitcoin spot ETF was approved, I was very happy. But after 2 weeks of the approval given by the SEC on the ETF, I suddenly felt worried from a different angle. Why? because I noticed that among the approved companies that passed the spot ETF in less than a month, they were able to accumulate Bitcoin in less than a month. Then most of them don't really hold.

I would say that it is not the same as last year or the year so far, there is a difference. I couldn't agree with your statement because people are more comfortable and prefer to invest in bitcoin than investing in alt coins. But yes people who are new to crypto currency and don't know much about trading just come to trade prefer alt coins. They don't understand that investing in alt coins is very risky so they start investing in different new alt coins hoping for extra profit and end up losing money.

you should be carefull on how much you accumulated during this bullish period because because Thier is no 💯 guarantee that next bullish period would get as high as this current price and so it you do reckless accumulation without counting the needed cost, you might end up putting yourself into serious pressure and urge to selling your holding in times of financial constraints due to lack of proper plan during the accumulation period.

We have already touched up the all time high or even break it but only a few bucks but at least its really good to see that we had made it. New ATH would be still ATH and if ever the price would be able to break 70k

I think that it's safe to continue on your DCA method until perhaps in the peak of bull run, probably sometime next year, if Bitcoin price crosses $150k, then you might probably soft-pedal, so by all means you can increase your DCA amount now. Although the best time to increase your DCA should be during bear run, when price has dipped very low, inorder to maximize profit when it's bull season. Don't get overexcited and invest all your income in Bitcoin, because it won't make business sense if you'll need to sale prematurely to solve a pressing problem.

Funny enough there's always that gentle buying after long as you're DCAing because the price of the crypto doesn't just fall dump unless you're Investing on the Memecoins that's of hyping that determines it's value but if you must Invest on the bitcoin, Eth, BnB and the other reputable coins then there's always gradual process of its volatile decrease in the market until it falls to a a value where it's rested before it pumps up again.
So literally on the gradually decreasing you'd always have to do that gentle buying before you can be rest on buying much today because the value is okay for you to buy and next time you could still meet a more impressive value that you may still have to buy more.
The fact is that no one has been holding you back from buying bitcoin even when the price was high.
It best depends on your conscience of readiness of when to buy and when not to buy.
That's why investors chooses to DCA.

Before someone starts buying anything, they must have a reason or more reasons for it. Someone can't start buying something for nothing sake, it should be for future or present use.

When the word buying is mentioned in crypto, it simply means to invest crypto. What is it to invest? Bitcoin of course and others will be of choice and not to hodl for long.

Before the bitcoin ETF and its halving, many investor have being DCAing to Bitcoin, believing that the price will surely soar when the halving draws closer. Nevertheless, I wasn't surprised to see an increase price of bitcoin, I was only surprised to see an ATH before the halving. Which can signal a booming market to happen this year and next year.

It seems quite valid to be buying right now, BTC isnt in any determined down trend and we know BTC price history reflects a record of rises or going sideways over the majority of its existence with some harsh corrections.   We dont have the harsh correction, it probably is quite valid to buy in this period even while uncertain of exact direction near to mid term.


The main question to the buying is that you have the capital spare to hold BTC for this year and possibly next year, I dont see a reason not to go ahead if that much is true.   If you hope to buy now and sell in profit by end of this month or even next month then you are taking risks we cant really back as nobody knows that one for sure but longer term the trajectory becomes more assured to stay within a reflection of prior gains, thats fair to do.

You could buy now and find price is some amount lower afterwards but the biggest failure more commonly repeated is not buying at all from the fear of any fall.  People continually hesitate to buy BTC because it is so fast moving, its normal fear of the volatility but unfortunately its a greater loss to not be involved then try and take some bumps during some kind of hold.
