Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. I would suggest you to hold also. Why you selling these high valued coins in so much less price. Bitcoins are way more valuable than the current price. Don’t sell, rather keep on buying at regular basis. Many experts have already predicted that after the halving the price will go till 100k usd. So we have to take the risk to yield the maximum profit after the halving. I am regularly buying the coins and will keep on buying it.

Whatever you do in the world of crypto, it will have positive and negative impacts on yourself, whether you do it with confidence or doubt, halving one of the news stories on the main page at the moment, what is often talked about by the majority of crypto users, there is a series of speculation that has emerged regarding Bitcoin in the future, prices, markets, predictions and speculation.

It's possible and I'm sure of the activity you are doing right now, most likely many users are doing the same thing (buying) and selling at the end at a price that each of them believes in.

Buying the current situation, for me it's not bad, it's something that is still normal and many people do, considering that the halving has not happened and will happen, of course we all hope that Bitcoin has a much higher value than previous history, hoping that we will see the best the future for Bitcoin.

Not that people didn't buy before, but they sold quickly afterwards, within three months, nowadays there are more people who are buying but then holding it and not selling it.

We can see that the amount of people holding more now is the indicator that the whole market is expecting it to change sometime soon. I hope that we could make some kind of money that would actually give people some super amazing return in the end.

If you had made an investment because of bitcoin ETF, what you would have check or ask yourself, how much price has bitcoin increased since the bitcoin ETF approval? $40k-$45k has been the price tag since then, and it has been fluctuating within that range since the approval of bitcoin ETF. However no much price impact has happened on Bitcoin as we have anticipated it to be before the approval of bitcoin ETF.

That's right, mate.
That's the advantage of someone like you who can see the situation and analyze it correctly to be able to find differences from what you are doing; not everyone can be like you.It is possible that before the halving period there could be a correction, and you obviously use that to continue buying and holding until the bullish season.

I would be happy if I could buy and sell like you because it is more effective than holding for a long time, although of course the risk is also big. If you can read the movement, it will certainly be easier to determine.

People are buying in preparation for the next halving and expected bull season. As long as we are buying Bitcoin and potential altcoins, earning huge during this bull season is possible. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at $42k and quite we missed it when it was below $40k but still a good buying price believing that it reaches another ATH which is probably over $60k.

But have to warn you OP to keep your wallet keys secured or use a hardware wallet if you hold more Bitcoin just to ensure that you will enjoy the rewards, not these hackers.

Selling now or later doesn't matter - as long as it's what's best for them. No one needs to be forced to hold bitcoin while they need a budget emergency - they can sell it and they can come back and invest again another day. After all - some people do this because they maximize volatility for accumulation, I mean they sell bitcoin when the price rises a few percent and buy again when it corrects.

So far there are many useful strategies to practice to increase your assets - but some of investor may be very comfortable with buy and hold. I know it's everyone's preference - so there's no forcing about what's best and what's not to do.

Could the OP had selected a better point in time to enter the market? Of course, but buying bitcoin before the halving is still a good move, after all even if bitcoin experimented a mild bull run, I still expect it to at least reach 100k at some point, so anyone investing now will get roughly 150% on profits, which is not small at all, it may seem small but only when compared to the previous movements bitcoin produced, but when you compare it with what you can get in other markets even those profits are huge.

Me since 2022, and never sold any Bitcoin.
Though I only bought small amounts, I guess that would be better than nothing, right?

As per my prediction, we will not see much difference in terms of price movement on Bitcoin, but I expect that it will at least go near or even surpass its previous ATH of ~$69,000. Maybe impossible, but we are just around $20,000+ from that price, and we know how volatile Bitcoin can be especially during the bull run.

Nevertheless, I always have this strategy of continuous buying after the bull run and selling during the bull run. That's the true meaning of "Buy Low, Sell High. It takes time, but obviously safer. As for those newbies out there who are thinking if they should buy or not, think for the long-term. If you believe that Bitcoin will reach 6 digits by next year then by all means, buy whatever the price is. Don't panic when you see your portfolio go down. Just relax, and always think of the long-term.

I don't think many people bought bitcoin when it dropped below $20k because then fear prevailed rather than excitement. I remember when bitcoin fell below 20k$, many people kept waiting for bitcoin to fall below 15k$ to buy but in the end that didn't happen. I even know some people who believe bitcoin will fall below $30k again and they haven't bought anything so far. It can be said that not everyone believed and was brave enough to buy when bitcoin fell below 20k$ last year.

I also don't think we are still in a bear market, bear season is over and we are in a pre-bull phase, IMO. A target of $80k by the end of this year is not impossible, but I prefer the scenario of bitcoin reaching its ATH in 2025.

But for those like me who might be struggling to be as I'm just a average joe investor, this opportunity could pass me by if I don't have the money when there is a dip. DCA is one way for me to accumulate, a slow process but it's going to be rewarding once we are officially in the bull run as I can see my portfolio really growing overtime.

I can see the joy in you, friend, that is good but be careful and ensure that you are more vigilant than being excited. And by what you have described as what you did about your investment in the coin, I can say that you might have been wise to DCA judging by the time you wrote this topic. If not, you would have regretted buying at a higher price which Bitcoin has moved lower from and we do not certainly know the fate of it in the next months. Regardless, DCAing means that you must have been buying it at some random levels that can't be an issue again, especially if you bought at around $40,000 before it made some significant rebounds, then you are doing well, bro.

Besides, Bitcoin is an asset that we can trust over a long period of time, it has its bullish seasons, which is why everyone is so confident of it that if it falls at times, it will rise back. You can also hold on to that as it has never failed. This is especially true as you bought the coin at this time when FOMO is trying to return back to the market due to halving. It will certainly move higher, it is only a matter of time. Bitcoin is so good to the point that if you are conversant with it, you can buy at any time and will still be assured that you make your money. But the smartness there is that we should not be blind buyers or followers of the coin, but should be wise and use analytical means to guide ourselves effectively.

Good for you, that means that you're going to get a really huge profit, your only problem now is the temptation to sell so quickly for a small profit when you can potentially hodl a little longer, the way you speak about it is that you're confident that you van hodl for a long time so I'm believing what you're saying. Don't forget to still accumulate though, DCA is still a good thing to do so you can maximize potential profit and at the same time you're not having a stagnant investment.

What about ETF do you welcome with such joy? Is it fun or does it make your heart beat faster? After the approval turns out to not match expectations, investing in Bitcoin must have a thorough plan. You might have a little fomo because it seems like after approval everything doesn't make sense. But this is the Bitcoin and crypto market is always difficult to predict. So always remain rational and have a good investment plan according to your considerations. Don't think too much that everyone can get rich overnight. A wise investment is when you have a plan well in advance, ensuring a stable income because the fluctuating market requires a strong mentality to face.

My thoughts are the same.Buying or selling because ETF spots are approved or not does not seem a very informed decision, let alone a smart one. And in fact, after the ETFs were approved, what happened was a dump, where many people who bought for the same reasons as the OP are sure to sell and lose money. Looking at the long term and what bitcoin is, rather than whether or not something external to it is approved, is a more sensible way to invest.

I bought some of an ETF for my RothIRA account. Seemed like something I should take advantage of for some sweet tax free gains. I went with Fidelity’s ETF because I liked the idea that they aren’t using Coinbase for custody to diversify the space. At some point though I may decide to buy shares in Coinbase & Blackrock while switching from Fidelity to Blackrock’s ETF.
