Honestly I can't say that the elderly 100% always make gambling a place for fun because it is likely that there will always be some of the other elderly who still have the wrong point of view on gambling, or meaning tend to make gambling as income rather than pleasure despite the fact that defeat always slaps them at the end of the session, and vice versa I can't say that all young people treat gambling as a place of entertainment only. But if we look and conclude as a whole then I'm sure the answer from most people's perspectives is that they are the elderly who make gambling a place to have fun more than young people.

One of the reasons may be that we can see in terms of experience and maturity of a person that we can use as a benchmark for this problem, where the maturity and experience possessed by the elderly can usually make them think more rationally in every view of things, someone who is very mature usually does not prioritize or do not put excessive seriousness for things that basically do not make sense like winning in gambling which always depends on luck. As for young people, they usually always have strong ambitions so that more of them act aggressively and more make decisions without any consideration, they also have a high curiosity which indirectly all of these things can turn gambling which should be fun into stressful.

Totally depends on the condition on which it could really be that possibly happen on the ff;

1. Old person but retired and just that playing for fun
2. Old person but testing out his luck on betting on his last funds and hoping for some win.
3. Young person who do play for fun and not for making money
4. Young person who do play obvious for money and not for fun

It could really be that on different variations on which this is something that would really be just that normal or doesnt really matter about on the
age of a certain person on which we do know that anyone could really play for fun and there are ones who do obviously on making money
on which its not really that shocking anymore on that case but rather it is really just that the casual stuff.

Well, i do highly agree into this sentiment or point on which it would really be that depending on a certain individual on whatever his own views towards gambling on which they are really that playing for fun or really just that playing for the sake of money or winning. We do know that each person is really that different when it comes into their own insights and views towards things on which it could really differ to each other despite of the age that they do have but i do agree on some points that young people would really be having that much more urge on playin gambling because they are really that someone whose really that adventurous or someone who do really love on seeking up some thrill on whatever things that they are really dealing with.

Older men are financially stable they have gone through a lot in gambling and they know the ins and outs of gambling they are more responsible, it takes years to mature in gambling and when they reach maturity they enjoy gambling more because they have the right perspective in gambling.
Compared to the youth who are ignorant, very haste in making decisions, and are risk-takers, when you have all of this you have no room to enjoy gambling, there's a lot of pressure, especially for young people who have no stable job or business to back up his gambling activity.

what I have described is purely based on my observations, as there are still many individuals around me over the age of 60 who play poker every night in a certain place with their friends. I see them gambling comfortably, and even when they lose, they laugh and tease each other. this is different from the behavior of younger gamblers, who tend to become emotional and quarrel with their friends when losses occur. this is the difference between older and younger gamblers.

These old guys too are not fit to work anymore in the usual work field and just usually spend their time at their respective relaxing place. I have seen some older men who rely heavily on what they get from gambling to take care of the family, while others especially those who have less responsibility engage in gambling just for fun.

But to answer your questions I might agree that the elderly gamble more for fun than the younger generation. This is because some of them are no longer raising children anymore which means their expenses might have reduced drastically. Many of these retirees just see gambling as a means of coming out of boredom and not really a means to make money. Meanwhile, younger gamblers have more needs especially when they are not depending on support from parents. They might see gambling as the easiest means of making an extra box.

I found old people enjoy gambling more because they are now at a point in their lives where they are not focused and concerned anymore about the overall financial aspect of their family especially if the said family does have lots of well-established and successful people.

This is something we can't really say because I'm not aware if there is any statistical evidence proving which one gamble for fun or the most, But from my perspective, I would say that maybe Old men enjoys gambling the more and play for fun than the young boys, reason being that most young boys that are into gambling are basically in there because they want to make money, while most old men use it to pass out time.

I don't think there is a specific sets of people who gambles more or less because gambling is just a thing that is being developed by all sets of age bracket and it doesn't count whom to win most and whom is to win lesser while gambling, it mostly depends on luck. Let me guess, you think older men gamble for fun because they have more money and can lose more without regrets? That's a pretty dumb statement as certain wealth and status is something you get used to, therefore a rich man losing money feels bad, just like a poor man.
