Just because you don't like the feeling of being called a gambler doesn't change the fact that you've placed bets and that makes you a gambler on some level. Yes, this is indeed a risk and must be accepted because we are deliberately involved there and cannot deny it. If you drive a bus or truck or even a car, you are definitely called a driver. This term is just a matter of perception in my opinion, because there are many negative incidents around gambling which have a negative connotation of gambling and gamblers, but for players and people who are involved in the world of gambling this may be normal or even seem pleasant.

I love gambling but I can't bear to be called a gambler. If we understand the matter with particular attention then the problem that will arise which will be my personal problem. Because I've made up my mind that gambler is a bad word. But this idea is not only me but many gamblers like me are in the same situation. Gambler is just a traditional word for people that risk money on probability, it's an old world that has since birth modern gambling but visually, when people see gambler as a wayward person, more like an irresponsible person who is addicted to gambling and that's why even here, you will hardly see people use it here, they can call you with the casino name or the gambling platform name you use most often. Like here in Nigeria, they use Sporty bets a lot and you will hear them say I do sporty bets.

I don't see anything bad if they call me a gambler and I don't expect people to also pick offense when I do the same because it's should be a normal thing. Gambling has been in existence for long and will continue to be because of the new games that are invented and trends as well. If gambling is what you do with time, you should be proud of it except if you are the type that is addicted person and fear of been profile as the regular gambler.

You admit that you play gambling, right? Although it is probably not as often as average gamblers, you can deny that you are playing gambling.
I don't know what you mean that you are not affected by gambling. But when you gamble, you must enjoy it, right? How can you not affected with gambling? At least, gambling makes you feel happy when you win, and it makes you sad when you lose.

If you have the perception that gambling is based on the belief that your own life is a gamble, of course you will not have a problem if someone calls you a gambler, because in this life there is always something that must be risked to be achieved. better results and we must understand it well. with what we bet on and don't bet on things we don't understand well.

Gambling, in my honest opinion is simply involving your finances in a thing in exchange for benefit or loss, whichever is propelled by the luck or chance.

If you, however, got to test the gambling site for testing purposes, whether as a beta tester or a developer or a pen-tester, you can not be considered to be a gambler as it was not the motive for you.

That's right, because of the bad image of gambling, it seems like he doesn't want to be called a gambler. Hide it if you want, but you can't deny that you're also a real gambler because apart from one gambling game, you've tried others.

In a more simple definition, a gambler is someone who is find in the act of gambling. When you catch someone stealing, you call the person a thief because your caught them in the act of stealing. You can not know that someone is a gambler unless they tell you or you hear them talking about gambling or you see them gambling.

I am not a gambler because I don't like it, gambling makes people to loose money and it also makes them win money but the rate of lose in gambling is too much, that is why I don't like it.

A gambler refers to an addicted person who directly or indirectly participates in gambling and at some point he cannot stop himself from gambling.
Gambling is undoubtedly a bad addiction and people who participate in gambling are known as bad in the society. People in society always maintain a social distance from a gambler and he is always deprived of various social benefits.
I never considered myself a gambler because I do not have all the qualities a gambler should possess. However, I occasionally engage in gambling once or twice for sheer pleasure but not as a source of monetary income but purely for fun.

Why do you make such a big deal about the word Gambler? If you engage in gambling activities, isn't it normal for you to be called a gambler? So what do you want to be called when you gamble? Would you feel offended if you were called a gambler even though you are involved in gambling even though you don't gamble often? I don't have a problem if I am called a gambler even though I rarely gamble and only do it on weekends. In this forum, the majority of us definitely greet each other as "hi gamblers" because the majority in the forum are gamblers. All those people who have gambled several times out of curiosity or fun should not be called a gambler. In my understanding, a gambler is a player who constantly (or with some frequency) gambles. The term gambler doesn’t necessarily mean gambling addiction. Addicted gamblers (from gambling) are the final stage in the chain “novice -gambler-addicted gambler”.

My passion for gambling ended at the “novice” stage. This is how (in the past) I would have defined my status.

Same here too, OP claimed that he engage in games for testing purposes, are casino paying games tester that I don't know about? He sounds like someone who works as a good hacker, that helps to test how strong a company product or project is, I don't want to believe that the same exists in casino companies.

A gambler is a gambler, once you place your bet you are a gambler, there is nothing like testing it out, because in your process of testing if you win money you won't walk away from it just because you are testing, so this makes OP a gambler like others.
I also consider myself as a gambler, the only difference is I am not a full time gambler, it can take me weeks for gamble at times and few times before I don't even go near any online casinos, either seasonal or a every day gambler you are gambling with a little hope that you can double your money, there is no other way to fine tune this act, it's gambling.

If money or valuables is removed from gambling activities then the risk is removed and it will no longer be gambling. So, a gambler is a risk taker. He foresees dangers and gets into it.

It is something that gamblers often use. They don't care about fund allocation and other things because they want to gamble. They want to have money every time they want to gamble. And that's what makes them start selling their goods to make money.

This can leave them without money because the goods they sell are used for gambling. They also don't know when they can win from gambling. But that doesn't stop them from continuing to gamble.
