So Skel has raised an interesting poll in twitter. In light of this, I wonder what does the bitcointalk community think about this? since there's a good chance team is reading this thread, think we can start a discussion about this as well.



Personally, I think any is fine but it's nice to have such option hence the vote. 🤔

PS: appreciate the well wishes on my recent win! it ain't much but it's honest work haha.

IMO, the problem is when you win a big and your name in "Lucky/High" Rollers.

You get spamming tags in the room + tips into your account, hoping they are gonna get tips. Perhaps, It's fine there is no "hidden" feature but perhaps casino can make some "block" feature (Tags and Tips) in their system.

So, everyone who trying to tips + tags in chats room for hoping a tipps cannot do these.

It all has its pros and cons I would say. I understand when people want to hide their username from winners lists to avoid publicity (for whatever reason) but I also appreciate transparency very much. When there is so much money on the line people should be able to verify certain winnings I think.
If you don't use the chat at a site I don't see any problem with people begging in the direction of your account. I mean what can they do? All they have is a username and they could tag you in the chat, that's it. If you don't have the chat open you won't even see it. And I would be ok with people sending me countless small tips and hoping I would send them back more, haha. Not gonna happen mates.

If these are being implemented in "Metawin". I guess they're the first casino that wants to transparacncy for betting activity + first casino who having block feature for (tags & tips). I still remember, while getting multiple tips 3-4 at the same time.

It's make a pops up for half of my monitor in the right corner.

That's show how transparent they are for releasing those gains by some people. They want to make sure that what they post is true.

But regarding on that situation I am half fine towards making the name of winner anonymous since somehow not everyone really like to get exposed or announce that they win such huge amount of money.

But also we are curious to know who's the winner so to validate everything and make sure that the winner is legitimate then showing his name maybe an option. But let see what will be the result of that poll made by Skel since for sure that many of their players will not question their result since they already gain solid reputation plus we can also add those millions of giveaways they giveback to their community regarding on some interruption or any events happened to their casino.

I think that it's shady. You want to know who plays with you and who is your competitor in order to be sure that the game is fair and not rigged. If the names of the leaderboard winners are hidden, then my personal opinion would be that it's a casino that rigged the competition and wins it with its bots. Sorry but that would be my fear most of the time, so I prefer transparency in this case not only on Metawin but on every casino.

It's easy to ignore spammers, don't answer them. The no-tag option would be a good feature.

I think that it's shady. You want to know who plays with you and who is your competitor in order to be sure that the game is fair and not rigged. I am of the same opinion, maybe because of my experience with poker. At some point I tried a room where you could play anonymously and not only I didn't like it, it didn't succeed. Even if the room conducts business in an honest way, people could be suspicious, and Caesar's wife must be above suspicion, you know.

In this case I think that for the sake of transparency it is better to show the nicknames. As if it were not anonymous enough to see only the nickname.
