My problem is similar to you. But not exactly the same. I do not use Discord on my mobile device, so even if they send notifications, I won't be able to see them unless I am on my desktop or laptop. As I said before, I am not a big fan of Discord chat servers.

In general, I agree with you that we don't need to install Discord, Facebook, Whatsapp and other texting applications on our devices. It's only risky and unsafe.

Where can I find my User, Server, Message ID. Turn on Developer mode first, to right click on a user DMs you to get an user ID and compare it with information for admins of that Discord server.

Yeah, that's true hence I would highly recommend turning off your DMs for server members (does not apply to friends) under privacy settings. That's what I do and never had such problem anymore for years.

If you think it's too much for you though. Discord has some soft settings--for the lack of better word. Basically, there is a whitelist feature for servers and a message requests folder you can enable -- DMs from people you may not know will be placed on message requests folder and you can treat it as a spam folder and be extra cautious lol.

Lots unwanted things happen especially if you go on their public channels since there are so many jerks take advantage on situation and try to scam people. It is very tricky and Mark Zuckerberg always sticks a tape on camera of his laptop. Mark Zuckerberg tapes over his webcam. Should you?

He maybe does right things but it's funny to see his company, Meta, breaks many rules against privacy of users. Human instinct, people love themselves most, not others.

For other applications, I disallow their permission request if I don't need to use these features, for OPSEC in my opinion.

The best approach is prevention if we're unsure. Regarding any social media accounts or applications we use for communication, some might ask to access our contacts and media, but I think it's safe as long as the apps are verified by the Play Store or Google Store. Still, we have to be very careful with that. I'm not really a tech guy as well, but there's no excuse for us not to learn since most things online are free. There's a saying related to the law that goes, 'ignorance of the law excuses no one.' We can apply this here as well, so we don't blame anyone for our mistakes because we're already aware of the risk factors

Probably, you are in the 10% of people who check what permission their apps are asking for before they install an app on their device. But believe me, the rest of the 90% of people do not even care about what permission their apps are asking.

Out of desperation, they might do that without considering the risk. Well, if you have limited information on your device, I think it’s not a big risk. What’s important is that you can access the internet, as life is very difficult without it now that we’re living in the digital age. And, of course, you’ll miss gambling when you can’t access the internet, so there’s a lot to miss if you go offline. I would say it’s worth the risk.

Thanks for the share mate. I’m looking on this details on the raffle info but I can’t find about the cash back. Maybe only some raffle has the 10% cashback mainly those raffle promoted by Skel. The first raffle that has cashback was related to Bitcoin halving.
