Possibly because the team felt overwhelming with a first wave of program and feared that their budget will be exploited while their business won't get too much benefit from it. To avoid potential exploitation, they stopped the program for further internal consideration.

Your point is valid to be honest. I think they consider much the result of the previous VIP transfer and focus on safer bonus approach for them and at the same time attract high rollers for an 80% insurance of their bankroll.

I think the bonus will always effective psychologically speaking since eligible users can play less pressure thinking that they have a guaranteed 80% bankroll insured no matter what happened to their game.

But this promotion is for VIP's so what they want to lure are those gambler who usually spend a lot of money on other casino.

This promotion isn't for all kinds of VIP users, they have made it for only a small group of gamblers who are prepared to spend a good amount within a short time. I would like to address it as 'high roller transfer' instead of 'VIP transfer'.

They have done the first round of this promotion and provably it didn't end up well for them since they encounter lots of abuse at that time. So right now they put those requirements to determine their target also to avoid encounter issue regarding those people who usually take advantage on promotions which doesn't have much requirements asked.

MetaWin team had made a mistake by completely giving away free money in the first round. They had kept the door open for abusers during then. Abuser activity decrease more than 95% when a casino attach deposit requirement with a promotion. But such high deposit requirement isn't suitable for a universal VIP transfer program.

Let's just collect the feedback, I think the rules might be changing. No need to rush everything.

If they listened or received a lot of feedback, could have some changes or updates. Many ways to make the promotion is not only for high roller but also for small gambler, and hopefully, they can make some adjustments. Or we need to see the result on 2nd VIP Tranfer first, to give them some result (If the promotion getting a good result or not). In the future transfer could be not having a hard rules only for high roller.

No, that's just my personal opinion based on observations. Many users are only interested in various bonuses, but they will gamble more often at their favorite casino than at other casinos. I don't know what his next thing will be to ask me. He will probably ask for my Metawin credentials or ask me to join their team and sign up on some platform where they manage their support system or something. I have seen that these scammers ask to sign up on some platforms, saying this is our support system website, and you will handle emails and live chat requests from this server, which are fake websites. Mostly, people use the same password on multiple websites. These scammers will save your password somehow and try it on other platforms to hack your account. Or, they may ask for money as collateral to join the job. I don't know what is in their mind. But I know they come up with new ideas every time.

I don't know why I don't get those kinds of “offers”, or covert scam attempts, then. I guess because if someone investigated me they would see that I would be unlikely to accept such an offer even if it was real, plus I hardly use Telegram and I don't use Discord. In any case you have to be aware of these types of scams because they now use AI to look more realistic. In Scam Accusations we have some cases.

I don't remember sending a single message on the MetaWin Discord server. So, I assume that guy sending friend requests to almost everyone, or at least whoever is online. I believe I am not the only member who received friend requests from these imposters. But you are right, if someone looking for any kind of help, the scammers forward them to another scam discord server and ask them to create a ticket there and then forward them to some phishing websites to drain the wallet. A couple of months ago, I had a problem with owlto.finance and then I created a ticket on their discord server asking for help. The problem is, that scammers are faster than the moderators. They response in a couple of seconds while the moderators take minutes.
