in the last few years I have never participated in any airdrops because I was no longer interested. However, I once got results from a very large airdrop, and that was in 2019, but I forgot the name of the airdrop because it was more than 5 years ago. and the results I got were more than $100 at that time, but now I never participate anymore because recently no one has given big rewards from airdrops.
by getting an airdrop it is an achievement that we receive, and in my opinion it is something that is awaited even though the amount is not as big as we hope, I have also received $ 15 from an airdrop, and now I am also working on the project to fill my time and hopefully get lucky.

i don't know if anybody remembers this, but Keybase gave airdrop of XLM, I received 60-80$ I think. That was my first airdrop, secondly comes with NOTcoin, where I received over 100$ and dogs gave me a 20$ airdrop.
Airdrop are fun, easy to earn money but only if you give it time.

If given the choice, we should stick to a stable job to earn an income and use a portion of it to buy crypto rather than just chasing uncertain airdrops. Some professional hunters can pursue dozens of airdrops using hundreds of accounts to turn it into an official job. I am also participating in signature campaigns on crypto forums to get some extra rewards and accumulate BTC bit by bit for the new season. I only hope that I can maintain this work in the long run so that I do not have to try my luck with airdrops.

My "biggest airdrop" story is a bit tragic. It was Blast. During the farming period I found a way to earn lots of Blast Gold Points for negligible costs. Had quite a lot and was high in on the leaderboard. Ended up receiving more than I did from Optimism and Arbitrum combined. And since my long journey in crypto can be described as nothing but bad luck, I thought that I finally pulled the "gold ticket" - I decided to stick with Blast, continued farming the Season 2, held all my airdrop and even purchased more tokens. Then I started DCAing too.... As some of you probably know, the founder turned out to be a serial scammer - despite all his promises, the project was abandoned, the activity on the chain went to zero and so did the price of the token. I basically lost both - my airdrop and my portfolio.

There are many stories like that unfortunately, most of the people do not realize that there is a reason why the price drops after airdropped, because the reality is that nobody trusts the project they work on, and know that it will go down and turn out to be a scammer or a failure and that is the reason why they do not want to stay. So when people receive their airdrop, they just instantly sell. Who would say no to more money? If anyone believed that the price would go up, they would keep their airdrop and they would hold more and more and wait until they are richer. We do not, because we believe that it is not going to be good at all and we should not be considering this as something that would be a lot worse if we hold longer.

I completely agree, I don't even have an excuse for myself here. I was just plain stupid (hopefully was, not am). There just was something trustworthy about the founder, I felt like he was really eager to "take over the world" and deliver for the people who trust him. But I guess that's exactly what makes scammers successful....

Oh my dogs, I've received I think around $5 and then reinvested with more than I can afford to lose and then the price dropped so much. This project is one of my mistakes when the memecoins are pumping and I thought that it would also pump with them. But the opposite came, the dump has came and my investment on this dogs project lost. It's still has got some value now but it's like 90% to 99% of my money was gone if I'll cut the losses which is no longer a cut but an entire accepted loss for me.

Airdrop are fun, easy to earn money but only if you give it time.
You must be a lucky participant in the airdrop era for you to make all these amounts within a short period of participating in airdrops. Many airdrop participants were never lucky when joining airdrops to make this kind of amount that considered fair.

How exactly were your staked coins hacked? As far as I know, NOT coin came as a Telegram-based bot airdrop. The main account was your Telegram and the wallets used could be linked directly with the Telegram wallet, but before the token got listed, there was already an option to withdraw to exchanges. From what I’ve seen, people who played the game properly were able to receive a decent payout.

It was telegram based account which if you want to withdraw your coins, you will have to connect your Notcoin account to an external wallet before you will be able to withdraw your coin and if your account is hacked or compromised, you are going to lose your account, this was when telegram later introduced a wallet and make kyc compulsory because of account theft. There was a time the airdrops were all sweet, you could make good money from telegram but later, it turn to a shit site. I lost interest when everyone started airdrop, everyone became airdrop lord and now has opinions on crypto. If you see the kind of content some people were posting because they want to make money from airdrop was embarrassing but now that it's no longer paying, they have moved away from crypto doing some other things that are not giving anything.

But then was dogcoin, meanwhile all others were just scams with dusts giveaway for airdrops after participants made some tasks required $2 payments worth of TONS.

The person that got the highest in my area for only $9, so that was a clear indication that it was just a waste of time, so after that experience, I never got the enthusiasm to continue anything airdrop again, because I started seeing it as something these developers are just using to enrich themselves.

Notcoin is a Telegram tap-tap game that features daily tasks and even some special tasks that players can complete to earn points. These points can initially be exchanged for NFTs, where it can then be traded for Notcoin. The game was all the rage at one point, where everyone talking about it. And the hype only grew when it was announced that it would be listed on several major well-known exchanges. During the reward distribution many people profited after converting their Notcoins to USDT. I personally believe that Notcoin was the pioneer of the hype surrounding similar tap-to-earn games. Memefi another tap-to-earn game on Telegram also emerged early on. Notcoin even collaborated with Memefi in its early days by promoting Memefi through its tasks. Subsequently several tap-to-earn games on Telegram such as Dogs began to emerge. But Notcoin is still the most hyped or even the most profitable tap-tap game given that far more people have profited from playing it than from other similar games

That's exactly how the crypto ecosystem function, a situation where the first set of a project would give an impressive performance which would attract more interest just for ill gotted and scammers Devs to take advantage of the situation to creates a burst of the process. That's just what really happened with all the telegram airdrop projects, the next projects came in just to reap off the participants and exit while airdropping dust.

There are many stories like that unfortunately, most of the people do not realize that there is a reason why the price drops after airdropped, because the reality is that nobody trusts the project they work on,
Many project intentionally create their tokenomics in a way where their potential investor have a large stake and price is initially set at highest level. So this inflated FDV makes it almost impossible for their token price to increase. I mean this dump rush is not just due to a lack of trust, right? It is a logical response to the huge supply of token that are being intentionally engineered Most team now use airdrop as bait to attract newbies. Which is not really a true community distribution. They just increase their valuation by farming engagement. Then they leave the rest for secret sale and let the natural market do its thing Edit: Ohh suck, I didn't even see the date :-/ , why do people reply to these old thread!

I got rewards from some airdrops in 2018 but unfortunately my payout was very low. But I worked on bounty during the ico hype and got big rewards from many projects. Over the past few years I have worked on different airdrops projects which promised big rewards at the time of launch but I didn't really get much. In 2024 I earned about $500 from sosovalue airdrops which is really the best airdrop rewards of my life. Currently the airdrop sector is dead but some new crypto users are constantly working hard there. Some unscrupulous traders are making a lot of money through referral commissions.

In the past, it was very hard for you to predict if an airdrop project is going to become successful and reward the community bountifully because of so many past projects that could not reward their participants that were taking their time to complete the airdrop so they can get rewarded by the team.
