It's very unfortunate that he had injured his hand and then go for a immediate surgery perhaps they have decided it that it should be done the earlier the better it will heal. So he might be back early 2025 and who knows who is going to be his next opponent.

I don't think it killed his momentum though, he is still very young and there could be more fights for him if he settles his injury today.

It's too bad to hear that Shakur will be sideline for the rest of the year. I read that he was working with Crawford in the mitts or something and so maybe he really push himself in the training and trying to impress his mentor that he has power.

Maybe if his knuckle will heal in time, then next year he could be fighting William Zepeda.

I do agree that it somewhat stop him in his tracks and go back to 0 again. Because he will have to train and reset everything, not a sports medicine expert, but a brittle hand will at some time is going to be injured as you are going to used your hands again and again obviously in this sports unless you will to inject a substance in it like Floyd does.

To be fair I think throwing big money on moneyline bets is a reckless move (unless you're filthy rich and don't know what to do with your money). The reason this fight is so exciting is the fact both of them are undefeated and represent different styles of boxing, so any outcome is possible.

I disagree though, if you look at the odds, it's already big for average joe and casual boxing fans. You don't need to throw big money if the odds is like 1.7x or up in the ML. At least that's what I understand from betting on the ML. So will only throw big money when the odd is like 1.2 or even less, and that is a reckless move and not a guarantee as you still has a chance to loss, like in this case, Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds!

I've never seen a trailer as epic as this, and both fighters deserve this kind of trailer ahead of their monumental fight. There's always a huge excitement and anticipation every time two undefeated boxers do not back up from any fighters, so I consider this to be the most anticipated boxing event of this year.

I like this fight in the sense that there's less drama, they are not selling the fight with thrash talks and drama, because the fight sells itself; the record speaks for itself. I just hope that it will live up to the hype, and who knows, we may have a rematch or a trilogy after this fight.

We only get to see few fights like this when we have so many boxing organizations with great champions because boxers are now businessmen rather than legacy fighters. Here we are seeing two legacy fighters who do not avoid each other just to give the fans what they want.

Fighters like Canelo chooses to present fight based on what will benefit him and not the community, after this fight I hope fighters will think and fight like warriors and legacy fighters.

Lol, but yeah, he could be represented in the trailer and as I have said, lots of money being thrown so they should expect a good showing from both of this fighter. Maybe they think that they don't need this kind of promotions. But as we have seen, when the Saudi enter into the picture, the sports has change upside down. We have seen some great fights lately, and it will also include this fight.

And  with that, they really need to capture the attention of the boxing public with having this kind of trailer. And I think this will be the standard as well, for the upcoming fights that the Saudi's are going to sponsor.

But still, if you are the so called cash cow, you should be promoted by highly in my opinion. And we haven't seen any precedence of this kind of promotion and this is the first that we have seen. And as what others said, they set the bar high for this one.

And it's fitting as both combatants have 0 loss, so it's just about time that this fights are going to promoted like this. And then again, with the involvement of the power broker who keeps on reinventing boxing, it's no surprises that they come up with this idea.  They also have this kind of trailer if I'm not mistaken with Usyk and Fury and also a AJ fight, who had a game if I'm not mistaken.

I think we haven't seen this before and so for now we might say that it won't suit him, and besides, he is cherry picking as well and so it doesn't make sense that the other party can be portrayed as also his biggest opponent.

Thanks mate, yes, I also haven't seen as epic as a promotional trailer in what we are witnessing in the Bivol vs Beterbiev fight. For sure, majority of us as I have said, are pump up and waiting and anticipating that this is going to be a great fight and could be fight of the year candidate.

Maybe it was due to language barrier, as we all know that both are Russians and English is not their first language. And so with that, they are just looking to fight and take each other's head off. And yeah, it's possible that we might see a rematch and even a trilogy if that fight is so even that it's hard to see who is the clear winner or at least the fight ended in a controversial manner.

The last time that I felt a 50/50 fight is going to happen is the first Canelo - GGG fight and the first Fury - Canelo fight I felt that this fight go either way, so much depends on who has the best preparation and good motivation headed to the fight.

Beterbiev has a long layoff, but we can't say that he is an underdog here, The guy has 100% knockout; he has his own way of training and motivating himself. What made Beterbiev the slight favorite here is because Bivol had a hard time disposing of his opponent, and his last few fights ended in unanimous decisions, the fighter with a higher knockout rate always favored in a fight and this fight reflects this belief..

I've watched many boxing matches already and many trailers whenever they want to promote a fight, but this is by far one of the best... no it's the best trailer that I've seen all-time.
This is what a rich man can bring to the table, but am I the only one thinking that there's some kind of AI generated scenes on the trailer? I mean I didn't expect both of them wearing those kind of suits in real time.

Whatever the case is, they did put some effort to come up with that promotional video. One of the best and for a fight that's this huge, a promotional video like that is a well-deserving one. Now it seems like Riyadh is becoming the new "Las Vegas" when it comes to boxing because this year alone, we've seen a lot of fights that happened on Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, it seems that both of them are not really trash talker, but it's obvious that they want to beat each other so that they will be recognized as one of the best light heavy weight boxers. I mean we can lay down the case for both of them, Beterbiev, 100% knockout, and Bivol beating Canelo and never lost a fight.

Others say it will be the age of Beterbiev that could be a big factor in this fight as any boxers not just him, get old over night. While Bivol is still in his prime and we can see that he can go full 12 rounds without getting tired at all, but it can't be said against Beterbiev as in some of his fight, there will be round that he looks tired. But it's just that his overpowered his opponents with vicious power punching.
