I think he has a different perspective for saying that chasing loss is fun. Depending on the self-control game of the gambler, he could be working towards stopping after a few minutes of chasing loss. So it is very important to fight our greed in order to prevent more losses.

Alot of gamblers are greedy, they aren't satisfied with the profits they have made from gambling for that day and want to keep making more money but they end up losing the money that they have already made. Alot of gamblers make the mistakes of being greedy and when you try to correct them, they won't want to take your advice as they haven't suffered the consequences of greediness but when it comes, it teaches them a vey hard lesson that involves losing the money they had made including the capital that they use to gamblefor waging.

As a new individual that's picking interest in gambling, if you can avoid being greedy, you won't always see yourself losing. After gambling for sometime and you make profit, you can stop gambling and leave with your profits. Don't think that if you keep playing you'll win more. When you think like that, that's a sign of greed and being greedy isn't good, every gambler will get tempted with greed but we have to fight it.

Greed is the enemy of man. Anything that involves money,you always see greed and whether we believe or not greed drives any financial market or state.
 
Gamblers need to fight the spirit of greed, but this can't be curtail if one isn't satisfied with his winnings, that the foundation of the problem. We must accept any outcome at all and not allow greed drive you to place more bets, because nothing is certain in gambling. As past winnings doesn't guarantee that same can happen again (future). So satisfaction (contented) with our winnings as this plays a major role as we gamble. And remove the habit of expecting much, or believing too much in your bets.

The earlier we build ourselves not to be controlled by greed the one step we add in our life outside of gambling.
