My body system has finally fit in to this challenge and it has now become my routine, am surprisingly hitting above 100.
I have this conviction that Bitcoin is also going to shock the world by hitting above $100k too and is going to happen sooner than we are expecting, thou it could look scarry for so many that want to come along but it is best you have the ticket and take the ride by being part of those that will have this testimony that will soon unfold itself.

I did the 100 push-ups this morning, and I must confess it was not easy to achieve because today is the first time I'm hitting 100 push-ups, but I have to accept the pain to complete the 100 push-ups. I used the strategy of 5 sets of 20 reps to achieve it, and I will stick with it because the strategy makes me achieve it fast. I will try my best to keep up doing the 100 push-ups a day to see how my body will look when bitcoin reaches $100k.

Is everybody using good form and stretching throughout the day?

I thought this was an interesting video on when to stretch relative to exercising.

TL:DR Don't stretch right before exercising, because reasons.

Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLQefKzMVjo&t
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLQefKzMVjo&t

previous Personal report:
Pushups Printed:    1400 (should have been 1300, 3 days ago, i started on the 10th)
Proof of Pushups:   885  (should have been 785, student human here, please be patient)
Net Pushups:        -515

current Personal report:
Pushups Printed:    1600
Proof of Pushups:   1100
Net Pushups:        -500

This is great!  After only 16 days, such progress.  We often set up tables and chairs to enjoy eating outside, and where I used to just carry a folding chair in each hand, now I'm toting two each, and it just feels so controllable.  Smiley  I hope everyone is being honest with themselves, and keeping good form.  10 good ones are better than 30 bad ones, in my made up statistical opinion.

EDIT: fixed stuff as noted

Snip
Come on man, you can totally do it.
Just split it up to 10x10 and you will have no problem. That's 10x 30 seconds of your day, I am sure you can handle that.
It's only bad for the first couple of days, then you can do it in your sleep, trust me.

If we all believe in ourselves we can totally do this. And if we keep believing in btc it will also outperformance our push-up goal and moving ur to higher highs.
I am doing my best mate. just as I said earlier the push up was difficult from the beginning but am beginning to get used to it. you some people find it hard to do exercise expecially when they don't go out for sports or street judging expecially those who have pot belly an those whom always play game at home always felling life is all about staying at home. for now I have took it seriously I feel the pushup is the reason behind the massive growth of Bitcoin expecially yesterday when I saw the price of btc raised from $51k to $56k I feel so happy and it gave me more motivation to push harder even when I know the Push up is not helping btc in any way. very funny😀

All right, no more messing around from me.  I've done the prep.  105, per day, minimum.  Time to pay down that debt.  Without interest of course. Wink
when I started,  100push was my programming but now I have changed from that to 130 by doing  50 50 in the morning and 30 in the evening a total of 130 a day hoping for the best as the price of btc I pushing up.here was my first move this is the program Though I will give it a trial. But I know the first week will be difficult, because it's been long I did it. However I will not do the 100 push at once hell no. But I can do 20 push every 20 minutes making it 60push in one hour 100 push in 1 hour 40minutes

snip
My body have successfully adapted to the exercise and the pain has reduced, just that my hands laps are heavier now and less flexible as they used to be. It was not really easy when I started, the pain even lasted longer than I expected but it is all good. I have not been able to hit the 100 target at a stretch before I become tired. I have been doing 40-40-20 for now and I do not intend to change this as I am getting the right result and my body accepting same.
the most difficult task is to start something, and when such thing has started it becomes more frequent and you start getting results. as I did it this morning i don't feel anything again its just like a usual thing even as I did 100 push this morning hoping for 30 in the evening.

And another thing is how balanced are you?  If you have too much weight due to lack of exercise, you will definitely not be able to achieve the 100 pushups daily, so I suggest that if you really want to go all the way in the quest for 100 pushups daily till Bitcoin hit 100k, then you have to be going out for workout sometimes, so as to  gain more balance when doing pushups.

This is time for everyone who believe in demonstrate their faith in it. Imagine telling people that bitcoin will do wonders and go above $100k but deep down you are not convinced. But if anyone is convinced that bitcoin will hit $100k like I am convinced, then let's show working by accepting this challenge. We have nothing to lose here. Because we are going to benefit either ways. With everything already happening around bitcoin, I don't think this challenge will even last longer than most of us are anticipating. This might even serve as the only exercise that most of us will be engaging ourselves due to our busy schedules. I am accepting this challenge will my whole heart, as it benefits me in all aspects.

My only real tips would be to not worry about trying to do 100 push-ups at once.  Break them down into as small of sets as you need to keep from hurting yourself.  I also prefer doing push-ups on my knuckles as I think it saves my wrists from a lot of stress.

If 100 a day is too much, maybe try to start with whatever "K" the Bitcoin price is at and work your way up to 100 along with Bitcoin.  Smiley

Who's in?!?!?
Yeah I agree with you that trying to get a 100 push-up at a time could be very difficult whereas the person could get really hurt on the process which could result the person not being able to continue the push-up for a very long time, so perhaps just like you Admonish is better taking it bit by bit instead of targeting the 100 push-up at a time because there is a saying that slow and steady wins the race so it doesn't matter how little or small someone has been able to push-up a day but what matters is how consistent they have been on the push-up, so perhaps if they are doing 10 push-up with time they will be able to get to there targeted number which is 100 and by that time they will not feel the stress of the push-up because they took it slow and steady, so no matter how long it takes I will always maintain the number of push-up my strength can carry till I reach the $100k Bitcoin.

Thanks for the advice, mate. I'm very much aware that exercise comes with pain, which I accepted when I was still lifting weights. I know how to position myself to get my body ready and balanced to do push-ups. The reason for the pain is because I stopped exercising my body for a long time.

Just as I said back then (I would be hitting the number of pushups depending on bitcoin recent price till it hit $100k) but have being suspense for awhile due to the pains was feeling lately. But There's a relief now, so  I'm getting ready to hit 60 pushups because bitcoin is going to $60k soon... So due to its recent price movement am already feeling pumped up already (though not like the way it gonna pump because bitcoin gonna surge massively) in the next bullish run. Wink

Brother I really understand what you are saying, but you need to understand that it's quite normal that at the beginning of everything in this life, their are always difficulties from the start, if you can maintain it day in day out, then I believe that your body will just get used to it at some point.

Yep.. it is quite likely that any of us who are still alive and a living organism will likely get stronger and be able to do more and more, as long as we do not injure ourselves and/or if we don't have other health conditions that cause us to not be able to exert ourselves in certain kinds of ways.. .. but I think that even a very frail person should be able to so the modified push up such as leaning against a wall or something like that, and maybe they can only do 5-10 in the beginning.. but they can work their way up.

I was really surprised by my own ability to get into this because it really hurts for me and I am still having a quite a few pains after 23 days of doing these push ups, but it is way better than the beginning, including that it took me 5 days to get up to 100 push ups in a day and then it took me 11 days before I was averaging 100 pushups per day.. and then now on day 23, I have done about half my push-ups for the day, and my average is right around 111 pushups per day. .so the total is 2,560 for the whole  period, since I started.

There are several parts of my body that hurt less than previously, and mostly I feel stronger and even able to do some other kinds of exercises that I was not able to do in a long time... .. but at the same time, sometimes we might not know why one day is better than another, and there was one day that I drank a homemade smoothie with mostly nutritious ingredients, and it was about 2 hours prior to my exercise session, yet it really seemed to have had fucked up my energy level during that exercise session, and I decided that I was not going to do that again... and so sometimes we might not know for sure why we are feeling lack of energy and even excess pain, but we may well be able to work through it as long as we do not end up injuring ourselves.

Weight loss can take a real long time to achieve, but I suppose it depends on where you are at and which parts of your life you are able to change. .Of course what you eat, how much and when can make differences, and then how well you are sleeping and exercise.. and so exercise would likely not cause changes on its own, even though there are plenty of studies that show that building muscle mass does tend to contribute to our abilities to process foods more effectively, including helping with insulin resistance. which is a common problem for people who are getting older and/or who are gaining weight.

[edited out]

That is very true.  There can be a lot of lingering pain from exercise, especially when we had not been doing it very regularly.. .. so we have to pace ourselves because we do not want to get discouraged due to feelings of excessive pain.. so we have to be able to distinguish between good pain and bad pain in order that we continue to make progress without overdoing it.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

What's the rush for? Let's take it one step at a time. Let's achieve the first target that was set, only then we will know the next line we are going to focus. Let's do it as people that are organized. If we say let's go with your suggestion, it will look as if we are not serious with what we are doing. Before you know it someone else will say let's go 300 or probably 400 and by then it will now look childish. So let's focus in achieving 100 daily. Moreover bitcoin at $100k is not bad.

I saw this thread days back, just few pages on it then and I just past it. I had the intention of getting back to it but, eve without having to state it on here, I tried some pushes up today and men,,, I literally couldn’t bath, couldn’t sponge my back side nor slide arm to the side. My muscles are all pumped up although, I only had to do some numbers in the evening but, am sure to try some in the morning.
I really don’t feel like to be honest, judging by the pain in my shoulders right now but, no pain no gain right!
The thing about push ups is that, it tends to build your whole body, more like running and with it in a challenge, it would help build character too.

It would be a building of character and discipline which would transcend into having policies that would enable you to be judicious at your investment strategy, DCA on buying Bitcoin and the patience/endurance to hold it and not be moved by what’s going on in the market.

I stand motivated and I hope to do this without looking at the charts till I hear someone screen on here loud that Bitcoin has broken its high at least, it’s not quite far anymore $56.9k.

Brother I really understand what you are saying, but you need to understand that it's quite normal that at the beginning of everything in this life, their are always difficulties from the start, if you can maintain it day in day out, then I believe that your body will just get used to it at some point.

I think because of innovations, people are doing less of physical works now as many things are automated unlike before. Growing up in a family of farmers, it was a daily routine to lift some heaving things, walk long distances, do many things that causes sweat. Now that working environment have changed with one working under airconditioned office, it requires extra effort to even sweat these days. Many participants of this discussion fall into this category especially those into tech and digital jobs. So, I truly appreciate OG for bringing this idea that have already helped me feel lighter and healthier. Due to prolonged sitting due to what I do, I was feeling this stiffness in my bones and arteries, but I notice that has disappeared since I join this challenge. I will suggest we take this challenge seriously because there is serious benefits like in my case.

You are actually right on this, most of us here, our job and other things we engaged in our daily lives don't even allow us to have much time for ourselves talkless of going out for exercise, but in my neighborhood, I have that group of friends that always rang bell in the wee hours of every Wednesday and Saturday morning, to invite those interested in going out for workout with them, so I usually join them.

Secondly, pushups have always been my thing, regardless of how weak I am, I always try not to miss my daily 50 pushups before preparing for work, so when I started this 100 pushups daily till Bitcoin hit 100k, it wasn't that strange to me because it's already part of my daily routine, but the increased from 50 to 100 was somehow really challenging to me in the first few days, but as of now, my body has already gotten used to it, even though it's not that easy.

Who's in?!?!?
I’m in!

I just came across this post today and i feel like i have been missing a lot all these while since the start of this challenge. i think maybe bitcoin hitting $100k is speculation especially as no one knows how soon it will happen but i am so interested in this challenge because i am a person who loves push ups. Although since the start of this year i have been so busy, lazy and carried away that i have not been able to carryout my normal routine of push ups but seeing this challenge now will definitely be a good help and motivation to start my pushups routine all over again. I hope i am not late in this challenge starting today.

100 push ups down today which was split into 3 sets of 40, 30, 30.
I just noticed I couldn’t go 60 straight as i used to due to my laziness of recent but i know in 2-3 days i will be back to my full capability.

I also prefer doing push-ups on my knuckles as I think it saves my wrists from a lot of stress.
I also feel more comfortable doing push-ups on my knuckles, i feel more in control and it saves me more energy.

What seemed to be a crazy statement a month ago is becoming reality. Suddenly $100,000 doesn’t seem so far away. When I started this challenge I had my doubts and hoped to get at least 30 days in. Now Bitcoin’s price itself is keeping me motivated to continue this challenge in hopes to successfully complete it.

Oh how right you are.
We only need to go up another 80% from this point and the challenge is over.
But wait, what will we do then?
I would say, let's make 200 a day until it reaches 200k  Grin . Or we can start slow with 150/day until 150k.
Who else is in?

Since we have started the challenge with 100 push-ups a day, it's not good for us to change it to 200 push-ups or 150 push-ups because some people might not want to continue with the challenge again. They know what they have to go through to keep up with the 100 push-ups a day, and they will not want to go more than that. It is also important we maintain the program we have started to have the strength to complete it and get a good result.

Let's go people!  They don't call them push ups for no reason.  Keep up the pressure, and on that last rep take it nice and slow.

current Personal report:
Pushups Printed:    1700
Proof of Pushups:   1205
Net Pushups:        -495
Previous debt:      -500

A smaller negative!  Or would smaller, be more negative?  A fewer amount of pushups behind to be sure.

Yep.. it is quite likely that any of us who are still alive and a living organism will likely get stronger and be able to do more and more, as long as we do not injure ourselves and/or if we don't have other health conditions that cause us to not be able to exert ourselves in certain kinds of ways.. .. but I think that even a very frail person should be able to so the modified push up such as leaning against a wall or something like that, and maybe they can only do 5-10 in the beginning.. but they can work their way up.

I guess its never too late for me as well in joining for the hundred push ups, maybe i will get more fitness in other to be able to accommodate the coming bitcoin all time high when am well fitted for it, the market is more getting interesting with its performance and we need to have enough preparation in receiving all its coming along with this next bullrun.
