After reading through the benefits of push ups first to the health and the muscles, I wound be joining the 100 push ups daily but I'm kind of ignorant how it's been done here concerning the records and all of that. However I need someone to please walk me through the procedure of the challenge so I can start up as soon as possible.
First of all you are very much welcome to this push-up challenge concerning the record it's simple we have our push-up record format which was introduced by DirtyKeyboard which is shown below

100k,YourUserName,Daysofpush-up,TotalPushups,YYYY-MM-DD.

After 100k you continue with your username, your days of push-up you record it which is 1 which will be written in your days of push-up the total number you did too if it is 100 numbers of push-up you will record it in the place of total numbers of push-up and the date you are reporting.
For example this is what I mean

100k,Makus,1,100,2024-05-23.
You can also cheek what others did for more clarification.

Sir, I am sure you're familiar with Push-Ups exercise and  the essence of this Challenge.This Thread was created by @Og nasty for the purpose of supporting Bitcoin until it reaches $100k while @Dirty keyboard is in charged of Taking Push-Ups records and updating them as well and @Jay JuanGee has been a great Supporter of this challenge.

The Format use for submitting your Daily Push-Ups report is very Simple, All you have to do is to post the number Push-Ups you can do for a day With the right formatt.

This is the right format to use in submitting your report:-
100k,USERNAME,DAYS-OF-PUSH-UPS,TOTALPUSH-UPS,YYY-MM-DD

For example: My Today Push-Ups = 50 Push-ups

I must admit I've been quite inconsistent in my report here although I have not deviated from my daily pushups and excerise, I really appreciate this thread for helping out in building a habit that has and will ever be helpful to me.

One thing that has surprised me throughout this challenge is how much it has changed my body. As someone who always worked out and did 20 push-ups along with other workouts I didn’t expect I would see much change when starting this. I’ve now seen my body immediately lose weight when starting, then start bulking up, and the last couple weeks I’ve noticed I’m slimming down again. Makes me want to push it more, but I’m trying hard to focus on all areas of the body. I have to say this has been such a great experience so far. If you’re reading this, start doing push-ups. I promise you won’t regret it.

Makes me want to start eating healthy more regularly, but one step at a time.

So I would think that the OP would be amongst the best of places to start to get a summary of the thread, and did Makus actually tell us that he had actually read the OP first?   I think not.

Yeah, maybe Makus had read the OP, and he did not understand it, and that would be more than fair that someone reads the OP, but still does not understand what to do, yet if Makus had read the OP, and if he was confused by it, then he could tell us that he had already read the OP and he was still confused and then he could direct us specifically in regards to which part of the OP is confusing.. but at least then (if he had read the OP and done a bit more looking into the matter) we would know that he had already done a wee bit of the basic investigations into the matter.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

I'm so excited to see that more people are joining the push ups challenge because this thread is really a nice place to be and also to acquire more fitness, because push ups exercise is really good for our health and also for the Love we have for Bitcoin that's why we bring out our mind together in this challenge because we are not going to give up until Bitcoin hit $100k.

Yeah, you are absolutely correct mr JJG I omitted the part were I was supposed to pass through reading the op, but yeah I was only having little spare time at work so I had to give my contribution in another thread and use the left time to post here in this thread. Now I'm beginning to understand lots more better after reading the op. I will begin my push ups tomorrow.

You just took a bold step by accepting to take up this challenge, OgNasty has already testify about the benefits of this challenge furthermore that any one reading this should start doing push-up and will never regret it and it is also nice that you have read about the benefits of exercise.
At initial time you will feel some pains in your muscles don't let the pains discourage you not to continue for the pains will just be for a while for there is great benefits in doing exercise both health wise. You can start with the numbers of push-up your body can be able to carry at the moment then gradually you can spread out and  increase your numbers of your push-up reps and set and also be consistent and see a great transformation.

I do agree, I just did 15x6, 10x1=100. Just running out of breath but I'm still fine and feeling healthy doing this challenge. As I have said previously in this thread, I'm a type 2 diabetic and so I need to do some exercise and resistance training coupled with good diet to not see a flare up or at least maintain my glucose level. And thanks to this thread, it constantly remind me of doing it like every day. I also added chin up and pull up in my daily routine as well.

Makes me want to start eating healthy more regularly, but one step at a time.

You should start, no more starchy or sugary or fast foods, more veggies and proteins and try to minimize your carb intake.

And congrats to those who have accomplished it already and hopefully there are members who will do and follow this challenge. It's not that you have to make 100 in the first day, you can start slow and gradually work your way up.

I did 5 sets of 20 reps each and completed the 5 sets in roughly 15 minutes, so I am happy to see that despite not doing push-ups since a long time ago I could do them with relative ease, still I have been exercising for a few months already so I am happy to see good results, as there was a time many years ago in which I could not even do 10 push-ups, so in a way it is surprising to see how exercise can make such a huge difference on my health.

We are happy to have you on board for this push-up challenge. Push-ups have been done here just the normal way people do push-ups in the world. But there is a rule that you need to follow for your name to be entered into the push-up table. You need to do a minimum of 10 push-ups a day if you can't keep up with the 100 push-ups a day for your name and push-up details to be included on the push-up table. And since you are joining us at this time, do not do a lot of push-ups so that you can catch up with us; we are only doing these push-ups for fun as we anticipate bitcoin to get to $100k, and no reward or special treatment will be given to anybody with the highest push-ups; just do what your body strength can handle so that the push-up will not be so hard for you to do.

2 sets of 50 today. Seems like it’s been a little bit since I only did 2 sets in a day but it felt good. Doing a set of 50 is getting to be a lot easier. I don’t want to push it until I’m feeling really good but I bet I could get a set in of 60 if I really were motivated enough to do it. Maybe soon. With BTC dropping a little it’s price is becoming in striking range.

Focus on Quality, Not Quantity
In the process of doing this pushups I think we should always focus more on the quality of the push ups not just doing it in other to get to a particular number without doing it properly.
When we focus more on doing it properly it will bring out positive results in no time, so as we all aspire to hit 100 pushups every day let's always remember to do quality pushups in other to get the desired body.

It really feels good at some point for me to move my muscles around the house, yeah I decided to work in the garden today instead of hiring labour, and I excreted some metabolism through the sweat and really feel too good about it. Below are my newest report for the past few days

You didn't get your report correctly, there is a spacing in-between your user name, day of pushups and your total number of pushups including your date and total number of pushups. However, your report should look something like this this below

That is how  the proper report should look like for it to fully registered in the table by Dirtykeyboard, the report might look very simple but a lot of users are easily making makes as to that regard, nevertheless you are welcome to the 100 pushups a day challenge for the love and commitment we have for Bitcoin as it is gradually going to be hitting $100k anytime soon than we expected.

Generally, with the fact that anyone can be consistent in doing push-ups there is an assurance or chances of improvement in terms of quality, but however, one of my major observation is that having a proper positioning is Very important before figuring out what might be considered to be quality, but whichever way it is any one can decide what will work best or suitable for him, it is a choice of anyone to prioritize quality over quantity or quantity over quality, the most important thing is that you are doing something.

It has been a challenging month of May for me and my family. I was challenge in my health and several efforts were made just for me to regain my health and get back to my feet. I been on medication for am almost back to fitness. Just took my last drip last night and the nurse said I will get back to doing my regular activities from next week. I know I have missed lots of activities here, I'm happy seeing the progress being made continuously here. While I was sick, I was just thinking how I have missed challenge, but in all I give glory to the Almighty.

I decided I have recovered enough from my surgery to start a 100 exercise.

I am older so I will do 100 stair steps

So I did 120 today .

there are 12 steps for each flight of stairs.

So 120 steps is 10 flights. both up and down.

Based on how hard it is to do 120 steps up and down I am certain I can add to this. Just did it again this time for dinner.


What would be really cool would be 500 steps down and up. That would be 41.5 flights up and down.








I have 12 steps to first floor from kitchen in second floor.

so 108 is nine flights of stairs up 🆙 and down.

One thing that has surprised me throughout this challenge is how much it has changed my body. As someone who always worked out and did 20 push-ups along with other workouts I didn’t expect I would see much change when starting this. I’ve now seen my body immediately lose weight when starting, then start bulking up, and the last couple weeks I’ve noticed I’m slimming down again. Makes me want to push it more, but I’m trying hard to focus on all areas of the body. I have to say this has been such a great experience so far. If you’re reading this, start doing push-ups. I promise you won’t regret it.

Makes me want to start eating healthy more regularly, but one step at a time.
If done consistently, the benefits of push ups for the body will definitely be felt, even if little by little. Apart from that, don't be surprised if, for example, when you do push ups in the initial phase (1 to 3 months), your weight will decrease first. Because in this phase the impact of push ups will burn most of the fat in the body. Then after that muscle mass will develop, and slowly the body will become bigger and stronger.

That's why when starting push ups, never stop halfway, for example after 1 or 2 months of stopping. Because if you stop at this phase, the body will shrink because the fat has been burned, but the problem is that the muscle mass will not be too big because the push ups are not continued. So basically if you stop doing push ups after 1 or 2 months of doing it, then your weight will not be ideal.

That is the most decisive process in doing push ups. The point is you have to keep doing it and never stop doing push ups for more than 1 week. Because in my experience, after 1 week of not doing push ups, the muscles will weaken again and you will definitely feel pain again when you start doing push ups. What's worse, the habitual mindset of doing push ups will be difficult to form (in essence, you will be lazy to start again).

And I want to ask, has your appetite increased? Because if your appetite increases, this is normal. Because what I experienced, when I consistently did push ups for more than 2 months, my appetite increased drastically. Previously I only ate 2 times a day, after consistently doing push ups, I ate 4 to 5 times a day. After I studied it, it turned out that my appetite increased after consistently doing push ups, which was a sign that muscle mass needed a greater protein intake. And I think that's quite fun, because it feels like all the food tastes good after entering that phase.
