Sometimes people don’t really respect themselves in some situation. They do what they like at any time they don’t even understand what they are doing because they are just overconfident and expecting to win when they are not properly organized. However it is a big mistake if you or anyone does not know or understand what exactly you are doing, because obviously all considerations must always be based on knowledge related to the activities you are doing, for example gambling, if you do not understand that gambling is a risky activity and you only know about the chances of winning, then obviously in the end that mindset will only lead you to many possible disasters. And it is also a fact that not understanding will always lead to actions that should not be taken, while in gambling if you make the wrong decision such as gambling with an amount of money that is too large or an amount of money that you cannot afford to lose then there is always the possibility for you to lose which in some cases is a situation that is likely to lead a person to dominate emotions in which emotions can make them make various impulsive decisions or actions that ultimately worsen the situation.

Most people always have this weird of thinking, that there last cash may be special in way that it may it the jackpot. And we are all fully aware that in gambling losses ain't negligible. And most time the chances of you losing is higher than they of you winning. So imagine someone gambling till he or she run out of cash. In such manner he or she ain't gambling for fun, but rather a means of earnings. Which is not right all . Because if one take gambling as a job he or she may endup being addicted to it , and due to that may lose more than he has win.  That's I always say that no matter what one should always keep to this term , to always gamble with what you can afford to lose not going all in with your hard earned cash.

Foolishness, they wouldn't even be on that situation if they have a control on their own or they are in their right state of mind.
I don't think that I would ever be in that situation, I control or limit the amount that I gamble, I only play with my excess money.

Their is desperation because when a gambler is at high loses he becomes very desperate and all his thinking faculty get blocked off because all what his mind will be telling him is to actually find a way to recover that funds even when he knows that he doesn't have nothing left to play somethings he can even sell his property at the spot or loan them because he is desperate and also too greedy to let go but on the greed aspect it's not too clear because only your emotions here and there can flip things for ya.

This is enhanced by the fact that the casino is like a machine which can both make money and lose money and is right in front of the gambler. So they get a false confidence that they can make the money back right from the casino if they play with more money. This increases the chances of their losses and stacks up more losses before they can recover and ultimately leads to a vicious cycle.

That is when all the borrowing money and all that comes in place. Which is another mistake waiting to be made.

The method to get out of this cycle is stop playing and find other ways to make the money back and pay off debts.

I doubt gamblers can actually recover money they've lost through gambling. This is just the sad reality they need to get used to. There was a time I was actively involved in sports betting, I place bets literally everyday but only gain from my bets once in a very long while. Although my intentions were not necessarily to recover all I've lost through gambling, I just wanted to win and feel happy. It occurred to me that I was actually losing more than I was gaining, my occasional wins could not even cover up for my losses during those period.

Winning feels good but most times, it doesn't cover all that was lost. Gamblers who are getting themselves indebted just for the sake of gambling are not doing themselves any favour because they will be losing more than they will earn. It is better to gamble for the fun of it and enjoy the win if it eventually comes.

A gambler can be such a situation when they losses their mind while gambling. For example if you stayed too long at the casino, you might spend all your money because you will feel biased and want to make sure you win something huge and on the process of continuous pushing for a win, you might not know when you have spend all the money you came with thinking that you still have some money left with you. If a gamblee is also addicted to gambling, he can be a victim to such situation.

Do you know that you can still spend a lot of time in the casino and still don't lose all of your money there? I know the chances of losing it all there are very high, but there are times when someone can spend a lot of time in the casino and not even make a single bet there. 
 
Sometimes I can just visit my favourite online casino when I'm bored and might not have any money to gamble with, but I will just be watching live matches and crash landings because I just want to pass time but don't really want to place a bet on any of the games, and the time I spend there doesn't determine if I will waste money or not.

Well I think what normally causes that is being too much addicted to gambling more especially in this virtual side although this virtual bet don really rubbish some many people's too much in gambling bet office that is why I normally prefer to play life bet than virtual bet because among all virtual bet is the most dangerous one and once you are being addicted into virtual gambling it will be very hard for the person to change.

They think that the money they lost, can easily be recovered because they are in the place to "make money" which is again a false notion. Like I said in my previous post, logical thinking stops once the guilt of losing money takes over and they no longer think of stopping and leaving, rather they try to cover the guilt by playing.

Even if someone wins the jackpot after years of grinding the cumulative loss is more than the jackpot prize, sad reality.

You're right, that's the perfect answer to the OP's question, it mostly gambling addiction that would make someone to continue betting even while their losing streaks is piling up. One of the gambling event that could easily make one to go broke is the virtual bet it's a little more difficult to predict than others and requires one to be very strategic else you might end up losing all your money to it in one particular day. I've never been in such situation and I don't pray to find myself in a situation whereby I'll be stranded in a betting shop cause of addiction, however during my college days I've seen fellow students use their tuition fees on virtual gambling and it didn't turn out good and that's why I didn't even bother going into that line, I'll rather stick to the normal football gambling or basketball which are more easier than the virtual gambling.

Greediness can makes someone becomes like that and no one can imagine when they will be like that. That's what happens to those who can't control themselves in gambling because gambling can tempts them easily to keeps playing gambling. Besides that, we don't have to asks someone to place the bet for us because we can do that by ourselves.

We can be at that situation if we can't controls ourselves and that can interfere our emotion and can't accepts the outcomes from gambling. We must remember that playing gambling needs moderation and limits our money, especially if we asks for someone helps to place the bet for us. We must thinks how we will pay that person if we don't have any money so we must really be careful when playing gambling. We must uses the money we can afford to lose and not spends too much money when playing gambling.

Yeah, and they use the jackpot amount to try and win more money instead of taking it as an opportunity to at least have some of the money they have lost throughout their gambling journey back and use it for something useful. This is how they lose what they have earned even if it's just a portion of their cumulative losses.

Responsible gambling is what one should embrace as soon as one realizes that gambling is not a way for them to earn money because no matter how hard you try, you are eventually going to lose your money and then you will regret why you spent so much money on gambling, you start thinking about the things you could do with that money but since it's gone now, nothing can happen.

This is another reason why people should have plan for their gambling amount let say when gambling there should be amount set aside for the gambling when that amount is exhausted they should stop for the day/week or even month until that amount is being refilled before they could start gambling. Greed mostly affects the mindset of everyone gambling if they don't apply a responsible gambling practice, at first it would increase the addictive nature in them when they lose money they will try their best to recover the amount they have used to gamble at this point they don't know when they drastically gets emptied.
