Good planning from the start will lead to a satisfying investment journey. It's important to remember that we're investing for the future, and everything should be carefully considered before making a decision.
Their is a popular saying that he who fails to plan, is planning to fail, that's why while investing in bitcoin, a good money management skills is needed so that you wouldn't deviate from your discretionary income at any point in your investment journey.
Quote
There are many things to consider first, and the most important thing is financial stability so that the investment doesn't negatively impact your finances.
If you are waiting to be stable financially before you start, that means you may never start because their are some folks that are stable financially but due to financial pressure from family and friends, they can't still figure out their discretionary income to invest with. What you need is discretionary income not a stable income.

But if an individual is in a situation whereby he is struggling to feed and take care of his basic needs, that person has no business investing in bitcoin because if he invest in bitcoin while he is hungry, it will only be a matter of time before he sell it off or part of it so as to feed or take care of his basic needs, and that is how he will be withdrawing it bit by bit till everything is finished, so you must be able to take care of your basic needs first before talking of investing in bitcoin.

New investors think that they need to know about Bitcoin in depth first, but the real priority should be to understand their personal finances, such as: determining cash flow, backup funds, and the size of the initial investment position.

I don't think that newbies need to first create a back up funds or understand back up funds and how it works before starting there investment journey, No. Backup funds such as emergency funds, reserve and/or float can be built alongside the investment process. All what the newbies need as to starting up there investment journey is the knowledge that the price of Bitcoin may go up/down, and that if such newbie have his discretionary income, then he is good to go.
According to JayJuanGee, other things can be learnt subsequently as he is investing and accumulating Bitcoin.

The idea to understand or create a back up funds clearly and/or know how it works plus perfectly control or determine his cash flow first before starting the investment shouldn't be a prerequisite to starting if you ask me. If a newbie have been able to settle basic needs and then get his discretionary income, then he can begin investment using the DCA strategy, having in mind that bitcoin fluctautes,

You might have raised a good point, but you should know that what you might call financial stability may not be financial stability to the next person, because people earn differently and also have different responsibility level. If this is true, then you would agree with me that if we hinge on that fact that a potential investor should first consider his financial stability before starting investment, then there would be a problem because those who are not financially stable would NOT start, or those who feel they are not earning enough would still remain as spectators and not investors.

Therefore, it is good we leave it at,, if a newbie has the slightest idea of what Bitcoin is(maybe that it fluctuats and that buying and Hodl for long is better off) and is able to create his discretionary income from his main income after settlement of basic needs, then he is good to go. We believe that people don't learn everything at once, and thus, other things can be learnt while investing. Such investor can also while keeping on with his DCA accumulation, can seek for other source of income so to increase his income and there by maybe increase his DCAing amount.

People have got to be kidding when they think that once they have started investing it is compulsory that you must invest all the time no that is not the true the investment should be done at when there is availability of investment money for you to invest and relax your mind only to make your next investment whenever you have, most people don't look down on starting small and want everything to be perfectly planned before starting which is wrong, they are talking about financial stability don't you think a lot of us here will be challenge to even increase our income source at the start of our Bitcoin investment because we now have an engagement which is better off than waiting to have a financial stability? Of course the answer should be yes.

Knowledge is essential since we need to be able to differentiate between what we are actually doing, so many people are trading bitcoin but are calling themselves investors, imagine how much effort you need to put in to trade bitcoin but you don't even know that what you are doing is different form investing, you will see them parading themselves as bitcoin investors so to not fall into the same misconception a potential bitcoin investor needs to know the difference between the two and this is basic bitcoin investment knowledge; you need to know what you are actually doing in the first place.

If you ask me, I would say that those folks who are into trading Bitcoin knows what they are doing I don't see any misconception there rather they are just being too inquisitive to make profit from Bitcoin. the only way I can agree with you is when you say that some folks doesn't know the different between Long term investment and short term investment because some folks only invest for 2 months and start targeting of selling their holdings when they see that they're in profit, it could be the following week or maybe the next day due to curiosity. So if you ask me I would say that being curious to make profit from Bitcoin is what makes it look as if most people don't know what they're doing.

It's a person's choice, and there's nothing wrong with that, and they also understand the risks they'll face if they trade Bitcoin. However, it's clearly different from investing in Bitcoin.

I've seen someone trading Bitcoin to expand their portfolio and still plan to make significant profits in the future. It may seem great, but one must also realize that it's full of risks Therefore, someone who does it must be prepared for the risks and, of course, have a thorough understanding of trading.

Investing is for the future and about how we plan accordingly.

Those are the basics that I don't think are difficult, and indeed, to invest in Bitcoin, we don't need to overthink things to the point of fear. The important thing is to believe in Bitcoin's future, and that's enough to commit to investing in Bitcoin with ourselves so we can be consistent in our investments for the future.
Things beyond that come back to ourselves. Fundamentally, managing our finances requires us to be able to manage our money well in any investment we make.
You are absolutely right, you should never start investing if you think too much. The real power in Bitcoin is
Belief and consistency, only by investing regularly with confidence in the future can you get big results.
And yes, managing your finances properly is the real game, as long as your Bitcoin balance is high, your investment will last.
The point is simple: people who think too much about Bitcoin when they want to invest in it indirectly show that they still have doubts about Bitcoin. This is because people who truly believe in Bitcoin only need to read a few important points, which I think is enough. For example, reading about Satoshi's vision and mission in creating Bitcoin, and how the system works, I think reading these two things is more than enough to foster trust in Bitcoin. But for people who still doubt Bitcoin, no matter how deeply they read about the ins and outs of Bitcoin, they will definitely remain skeptical about it.

That's why, when we want to understand what Bitcoin is, we must be able to empty the cup we hold. By that, I mean don't approach it with ego, but with reason and logic.

There are many things to consider first, and the most important thing is financial stability so that the investment doesn't negatively impact your finances

The concept of financial stability to my own understanding does not depend solely on the amount a person earns but also on the amount of basic responsibilities he is bearing. So it would be wrong to assume that two people who earn equal amount will have the same financial situation at anytime even when non of the two has serious responsibilities, they still have different financial situation. So if you intend to wait until you are financially stable, you may never invest in bitcoin at all. Life and it's struggles every day. If someone is not ready to device a good Cashflow management skills, no matter the amount of money he earns, he may never be financially free. So I would say that investing in bitcoin does not start with financial stability but it is a gateway to further financial stability over time as long as an investor is ready to pay the price and HODL for long.

Quote
Therefore, it is good we leave it at,, if a newbie has the slightest idea of what Bitcoin is(maybe that it fluctuats and that buying and Hodl for long is better off) and is able to create his discretionary income from his main income after settlement of basic needs, then he is good to go. We believe that people don't learn everything at once, and thus, other things can be learnt while investing. Such investor can also while keeping on with his DCA accumulation, can seek for other source of income so to increase his income and there by maybe increase his DCAing amount.
To invest in bitcoin especially with the right strategy like the DCA strategy, investing in bitcoin is periodic based on the availability of discretionary income. Anyone who has a source of income would perform better if he really wants to invest in bitcoin and he must be disciplined at all time to understand that he doesn't have to toil with bitcoin or play smart by gambling bitcoin which could worsen his financial situation. When you decide to do the right thing, also you can reduce your DCA allocation to suit your income while also making provision for emergency funds to cushion your bitcoin stash against premature sales.

Many newbies panic before they finally start to invest in bitcoin and it is not out of place because they are humans. A newbie who is also a novice in bitcoin and wanting to invest in bitcoin only invests based on trust he has on his friend who is possibly introducing him to bitcoin or he invests as a gambler (especially if he's one). Newbies that invest as gamblers are ready to loose whatever they invested once they have invested it, but a neutral newbie would panic in his initial investment days until he gets to understand bitcoin on a personal level and when he finally understands bitcoin, he gets more dedicated to HODLing at all time and never panics again.

I believe in knowledge is power! No matter what, of anyone is ready to read and gain knowledge, they would get the knowledge and know what why people are investing in Bitcoin from reading the Bitcoin whitepaper and reading articles about Bitcoin and how the network has been increasing in adoption. No matter how gullible a person can be, if they are ready to read and seek for knowledge about Bitcoin and how to invest in it properly, they would gain the knowledge and start working ways to make a proper investment in Bitcoin.

There are people that had concluded in their mind they Bitcoin is not for them and they would never put their money in buying Bitcoin.
This kind of people are like Atheist that would never believe that the Almighty God exist. Their dogma and ignorance had covered their faculty of learning and believing that God exist. Seeking for information why many people are adopting and putting their money in Bitcoin should be the next move to acquire knowledge. Those that don't want to buy or talk rubbish about Bitcoin are indirectly reducing their ability to get a financial level with Bitcoin.

That's why, when we want to understand what Bitcoin is, we must be able to empty the cup we hold. By that, I mean don't approach it with ego, but with reason and logic.
Those that had one or two grudges against Bitcoin from what they heard in the past must be ready to unlearn and relearn to understand Bitcoin and how to invest in it. There are so many benefits we can get as Bitcoin holder but we should not reduce the possibility of learning more about the almighty Bitcoin. Ego has been known to be the reason to many people's downfall and we should never allow it to be part of our faculty.

Not just some, but even more people might get bored if they're asked to learn for a long time without having to take action, like buying BitcThis is way too much for a newbie who is just getting started, this idea of learning to understand the technical aspect of bitcoin can probably take decades before guys can be able to understand it very well that's depending on thier level of understanding. So since guys is only interested in the ongoing buying of bitcoin and not understanding the technical aspect of bitcoin why not allow them to specialize on that area which they know they can easily catch up with? because asking newbies to look into the technical aspect of bitcoin is more like asking them to start the learning procoin. Because it's actually quite simple for beginners who already believe in Bitcoin: they just need to be willing to buy consistently every week while seeing new things they can apply to themselves. As for understanding what Bitcoin is, all beginners can research online to gain a basic understanding, building confidence and a strong desire to buy Bitcoin and hold it more patiently for a longer period.
@ virasog seems to have forgotten that  there's a step in learning, newbies is supposed to be attempting to learn from the peripheral aspect of bitcoin so that to help them know the Basic things so as  to enable them get started as this is the most important thing that every newbies is hoping for, before looking into the technical aspect of bitcoin if at all they will even want to look into that. Surely our Major concern is supposed to be on how we can buy and HODL for Long term investment I don't see that thing that requires technology while holding for Long term investment apart from discipline and also understand the volatile nature of bitcoin, I'm sure that majority of this  Investors didn't know much about the technical aspect of bitcoin yet they still survived even most of them know nothing about the technical aspect of bitcoin yet that does not stop them from getting what they want, that is to prove to @ virasog that without understanding the technical aspect of bitcoin Investors can still survive so long as they're doing the right thing.

The ONLY basic things that newbies need to know about bitcoin in order to get started is that number goes up (or might go up) and whether they have a discretionary income.

They (newbies) can figure out the details as they go, and surely the less that newbies know or feel comfortable, then the smaller their getting started amount would be until they build their knowledge and comfort level in regards to bitcoin, yet more importantly about their own cashflow situation, which would likely allow them to increase their bitcoin position size as their knowledge and comfort (getting used to it) increases.

People keep forgetting that in Bitcoin they learn more as they go(experience) not by remaining in the same spot. The journey of accumulating Bitcoin is truly procedural and because of that  it is not a must for beginners to wait until he fully understand everything there is to know about Bitcoin before starting out. Once they have their discretionary income and also understand the central feature of Bitcoin which is that it is volatile(constant price fluctuation), then there shouldn't be nothing else stopping them from starting to invest in Bitcoin. And once they have started out,  other things can be learnt, and done a long the way.  Many people keep fucking around and delaying themselves with the sick and lame mentality that Bitcoin investment is only meant for those who are wealthy and financially stable and well doing, but that is a lie. A person can start small with the amount they have( so as it is that left over money that they can spare), and along increase it, while also building up their experience and confidence at the same very time

It is absolutely true that when investing in BTC, we don't need to be experts on BTC first, because there will definitely be times when if we don't start, we will miss out on ownership and so on. For example, others may have already started accumulating BTC while we haven't because we're too busy trying to learn about it. In this case, it's definitely better to just start rather than wait too long to begin, as long as we have discretionary income and idle funds to purchase BTC.

Of course, I have also seen people who have been successful in investing in BTC because they immediately started buying BTC without waiting to become an expert in BTC first. Indeed, by starting first, we will also gain knowledge little by little over time. So, the main point is to first understand the basics of BTC and investing in BTC. Investing in BTC is certainly easy because even with a small amount of money, we can buy BTC. However, the most important thing is that we must hold onto BTC for the long term.

There are many things to consider first, and the most important thing is financial stability so that the investment doesn't negatively impact your finances

If you ask I will say there is nothing bad in investing all the time in Bitcoin that is if someone is capable and can handle it, there is nothing wrong though it can be stressful and somehow boring. If I have what it takes to be investing all the time I will be very happy because it will help me grow my profile so quick but anyone who doesn't have the capacity and what is needed and required to invest all the time should stay off because they will ruin their investment.

Investing regularly is not always a bad thing, but by planning and controlling risks properly, it brings many benefits, but as it is said, it is always important to consider your own capabilities, mental stress, and market conditions before investing, but if you invest with undue pressure, it can bring harm instead of profit, so the best strategy is to invest with consistency and intelligence according to your capabilities!

Yea sure, its pretty much better and advisable that we should get started with our bitcoin investment once we are able to figure out a discretionary income to buy bitcoin instead of waiting to attain a financial stability before we can get started. Financial stability is something that I think is insatiable in humans, no matter how rich you are, you’ll definitely still not be satisfied with the level you are currently, you’ll definitely want more. So if you think that you must get to level of financial stability before starting your bitcoin investment then you’re getting it all wrong. Most times, a lot of people are just unable to figure out a discretionary income to use and accumulate bitcoin, not because they don’t have money or job, but due to poor financial management skills, they can’t still figure out a discretionary income to accumulate bitcoin and hold. Bitcoin investment is done with just a discretionary income, and this means that if you’re able to sort out your major primary financial obligations such as payment of your bills, and other utilities then the money you’re left with you can be able to use it and accumulate bitcoin and hold for the long term purpose. But if a individual is still struggling to meet up with his expenses and sorting out his basic primary financial obligations, then such individual shouldn’t attempt investing in bitcoin.
Having an unstable income shouldn’t be a barrier for not getting started, the most important thing is that you’re able to figure out a discretionary income from time to time to use and accumulate bitcoin, and along the line you can still find a way to improve your finances.

I think if someone starts investing with a little idea and has a long-term plan, then it is not difficult for him to invest in Bitcoin. If he does not have sufficient knowledge immediately, he can acquire better knowledge about Bitcoin after starting his investment. But there are many who try to learn about Bitcoin and spend so much time learning that later the price at which they wanted to buy Bitcoin changes a lot. If an investor has a reasonable income, then he is suitable for investing in Bitcoin. As the price of Bitcoin is gradually increasing, this trend will continue and his Bitcoin investment will also increase.

What you fail to understand is that life may happen that can affect your income. Either in a positive way or a negative way. And if by chance it happens to affect you in a negative way, your discretionary income can fail drastically. It is ok for it change, because you have to operate on a level which you can afford. Maintaining the same percentage that you DCA with in Bitcoin will affect other aspect of your life that needs financial concentration.

To be honest, many people miss the real opportunity by doing excessive analysis before investing in Bitcoin. They think that if they wait a little longer the price will fall and then they can buy and make a profit. In my opinion, the most effective method is to make regular small investments which we call DCA. On the one hand this spreads the risk and on the other hand it also reduces mental stress. Because then you don't think too much about market fluctuations but rather your focus is on long term goals.

The more you analyze when investing in Bitcoin, the more you will fall behind. If you have a prudent income, the best investment strategy is to focus on your investment as soon as possible without wasting time. Before investing, you just need to adopt a risk-taking mindset and manage your investment with long-term patience, only then can the next cycles be profitable for you.

By adopting DCA through regular investment, a person is able to grow his portfolio and it becomes easier for him to invest. Although there is an investment mindset among boys these days, not everyone can survive in the investment cycle, only those who have a strong will and long-term morale survive. A good strategist becomes a real investor, because he is not afraid of decline, he takes the decline as an opportunity and eagerly waits for the next cycle, because he knows that the market downturn is not permanent, it is just a time gap. To make the investment sustainable, a long-term plan is definitely needed.

Exactly bro, that is a solid point. You do not need to invest every single time, it should be done based on your financial capacity..
What really matters is the discipline, not forcing it. Even starting small can push you to improve your income over time. It is all about progress, not perfection..

Investing is part of the job, although it also involves the desire of the person who wants to do it well and consistently based on their own abilities. So clearly, there's no coercion whatsoever, either from themselves or from others around them. So I also agree with your point. When someone is willing to invest according to their own assessed capabilities, they won't experience such a heavy burden in the long run because it's part of advancing themselves through wise actions. So, clearly, there's no such thing as perfection at the beginning, because those who struggle like that usually hope for perfection in the end.

Those who keep waiting for the perfect time to get in or keeps waiting until they they learn so much about Bitcoin before getting in, are simply time wasters. There is a popular saying which states experience is the best teacher. This is saying also applies to bitcoin, The knowledge of Bitcoin is best learnt and felt the more through experience. That is to say you learn more and understand more and effectively while already participating or investing in Bitcoin. Once you have your discretionary income at hand and also have the understanding that Bitcoin price isn't stable that it usually fluctuates, then there is really no point of still shitting around because the more the delay the more likely that they will later buy at higher prices.
