I would think that investment timelines should be 4-10 years or longer, and the main reasons to have investment timelines that might be on the shorter end of that range is for old people who might enter inter their non-earning years, so they might not be able to commit to investing for longer time periods.  Most younger people might have goals to buy property or to invest in other businesses, yet it could well be problematic to use bitcoin for those purposes, since bitcoin is likely going to outperform any other investments, including properties.. yet each of us still have to figure out how we are going to be making those kinds of balances and determining the extent we are actually treating bitcoin as a long term investment versus just a trade that happens to be longer than 4 years.

Should be that way minimum 4 years investment timeline is not high and I think this is ideal for people who can't wait for decade. Its important to know first the capabilities and consider the long term effect of what they are doing since if they have huge fund and have multiple sources then they could able to go to maximum years of their investment maturity. This is how proper budgeting toward their needs and investment is important so that they can balance everything they do. But in case they think about selling their bitcoin if they want to buy a property then for me its fine since there's lot of chance to start over with bitcoin investment. For sure the next investment phase with bitcoin will became more successful since buying an asset phase would became lessen especially if young adults already acquired this assets. For old(55 - 60 years of age) people well minimum 4 year is good for them. But if they are age 65 above I guess they should stop about thinking investing on high risk investment and just enjoy their life without getting any stress.

A person who is 65 or above could still have a 4 year or longer investment timeline, and sure they might need to lump sum invest rather than DCA - since any DCA investing still triggers at least a 4 year investment timeline for each new BTC purchase, so someone who might have had been investing into bitcoin for 4 years, their earliest purchases would have had met an at least 4 year investment timeline, yet their latest purchases would still require 4 years before being eligible for withdrawal.  Of course, lump sum investing allows for the timeline to run right away, yet one of the problems with many people is that they are not really ready, willing or even able to do lump sum investing.

You suggest that some folks might have a shorter investment timeline that might even border closer to 4 years rather than 10 years since they might be wanting to use their BTC proceeds to buy a house or something like, and sure those could be considerations, even though it might not be a good use of BTC funds.. and you also suggested that if they use up their BTC they can build up their BTC again, which may or may not be true.. yet you are suggesting some kind of a selling at the top and buying at the bottom which could be considered like a trade.. or if you might be suggesting really small amounts of selling on the way up then that would be more like shaving off of dollars without necessarily needing to buy back, yet in either case it can be difficult to consider buying back cheaper even though there could be buying back at higher prices than sold, which might or might not detract from the  idea of selling BTC before reaching a status of overaccumulation.  Each person has to decide how to manage their BTC, and for certain kinds of sales, they may well end up later having regrets about selling too many BTC too soon.

I think your idea is very good because a good investor is someone who holds firmly and of course only sells when he makes a profit.

You sound like a trader rather than an investor Solokan - especially if you consider that selling at or around $100k would be very prudent for anyone who might have had been accumulating BTC in the past year or so.  Yeah, sure, if some one has been buying BTC for the past year, there is going to be profits as BTC starts to reach new ATHs, yet planning to sell at a profit is the attributes of a trader rather than a investor... so you seem to be misusing the term investor when you merely consider being in profits as being a good time to either sell or a way to manage your investment (in this case managing your BTC holdings). 

With your forum registration date you are getting close to 2 years here, so sure it is possible that you might have had been able to front load your BTC investment, and you may well have had been able to get quite a few BTC for less than $30k.. so are you thinking 3x to 4x profits is enough to get out of BTC? 

Absent some other information, I have my doubts that you had front-loaded your investment into bitcoin since many folks tend to get into their bitcoin position over time rather than being able to front-load their bitcoin investment through some kind of a lump sum investment, yet even folks who might have gotten their BTC in the sub $30k prices may well hesitate to consider selling their BTC based on mere 3x or 4x profits.. yet surely folks can do whatever they like and then end up not having very many BTC in the future, or not having as many as they could have had had.

So if he has good cashflow management, then he is in a better position to be aggressive as compared with if he does not have good cashflow management.  So the aggressiveness or the whimpiness of the approach to bitcoin investment has to do more with making sure that the investment is coming from discretionary income and managing the cashflow which is income versus expenses rather than changing between aggressiveness or whimpiness based on BTC prices.. so then with the passage of time maybe 10 years or longer there may well be a difference between the aggressive investor and the whimpy investor, and hopefully the aggressive investor is able to balance his aggressiveness to such an extent that he does not end up recking himself in the process, which comes back to good cashflow management to make sure all expenses are covered each month with projections of being able to having income that covers the expenses too.

I'm not saying one should time his or her aggressiveness, just like you said and I quote "if he has good cashflow management, then he is in a better position to be aggressive as compared with if he does not have good cashflow management". We are still saying same thing one needs to know when to be aggressive just like you said one with good cash flow management has a better position to be agree than one without a good cash flow management, so one needs to know all this.
Some people don't have any idea about cash flow management and if they need to invest only there discretionary income some people just accumulate without even knowing they are being aggressive which later lead to them dipping hands into there Bitcoin investment.
So one needs to know when to be aggressive and knowing his or her financial strength will help in knowing that too.

Bitcoin is waxing strong, Bitcoin has been showing its strength and resilience in the market. It's exciting to see how Bitcoin continues to make its mark and attract more interest from investors. The upward trajectory at $65k is quite impressive , We shouldn't be doubting the potential of Bitcoin when the price are going down down,  weeks ago people where talking down on bitcoin because it went low as 48k instead of capitalising on the opportunity of buying more during that moment when the prices are down, that's actually a great opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a lower cost. It's all about seeing the bigger picture and understanding the long term potential of Bitcoin regardless of short term price fluctuations.

Bitcoin price is currently on an upward trend and is preparing for another ATH so every investor should increase their holdings carefully to keep themselves ahead of the race to $100k. To make investment successful you need to test patience and you should keep all preparations like immersing yourself in continuous buying. In fact, it is possible to be successful as an investor if we do DCA regularly with a focus on the future value of Bitcoin at $100k. Now Bitcoin can be used to buy something we want as long as there is a service that accepts Bitcoin such as in several large companies and also in shops whose owners really like Bitcoin. It can also be brought into trading on the exchange that we like and can also be stored as an investment asset because it is also very good to do, but considering the value and number of Bitcoins which are very limited, of course storing more after buying on the market will be much better than using it to buy other goods or trading it with other pairs on the exchange.

To buy something using bitcoin and only in a few countries is it available even a small amount.
Adoption in purchasing goods in a bitcoin payment store in some countries still does not exist because some governments prohibit the use of bitcoin.
