The best answer is to stop when you reach your limit, meaning that I myself have set an amount that I can use for gambling, and that is my limit. No matter what happens, lose or win, I will gradually accept the result as long as my funds are zero or the allocated funds for gambling are all gone. When I win or lose, it doesn't matter as long as I have funds, then I will continue playing. But what if I keep on winning? So when do I stop? I will stop when I double my capital. For example, if I started with $100 and in my session I gained another $100, then that's when I will stop, and the next day I will use the $100 as my capital for gambling, and the other will be secured, and I will never use that again. More like, it will be put in my savings where I cannot let myself use it no matter what, but where do I get my funds for gambling? from some of my salary and side jobs.

The right time to draw the line is when you are experiencing continuous losses, and have reached your budget limit. I always consider these 2 things when deciding to continue or stop gambling. Responsible gamblers are those who can manage their finances. And the most important thing is that they don't think that gambling is a source of income. I always bet small amounts for fun. And when I have experienced continuous defeat I will get bored and decide to draw the line. If my budget reaches the limit I will completely stop gambling.

Yes, because each of us has our own capacity, like for example us here, we are only poor so when our funds ran out, we have no choice but to stop. If a gambler plays game and win for the first time or second, he should stop because if he continues to play the game he might loose everything.inhave noticed severally that after the first or second wining, it becomes hard to predict a wining game. It's been a long time now since I am used to walking away after I win some money, including if I still have some money left after wining, assuming I just started gambling a second ago and I win then I don't see any reason why I should continue.

It's not as if gambling as a stop loss feature, like how we used to handle crypto trading on centralized exchanges, gamblers are left with their problems to find how they will manage their own losses.

I'd say  there should be a line on both as well as the time spent gambling as well.
Everyone should have a fixed budget you can afford to lose for a given time. Maybe a day or a month, when you lose the pre determined amount, you just stops.
You should also stop when you make huge wins. The larger the win, the more the player gets comfortable with large bets and a bad streak could soon turn ugly with rage betting. You could be a bit flexible on win, but you should stop before you get reckless.

Gambling is supposed to be fun, with all these complex strategies and mind games we are making it an stressful thing, as you said the results are uncertain then why do we have to take it to all the way to our mind and let it down when the results didn't as we expected. I would say that neither of these applies to me. I won't be making hasty decisions to any direction because of something that just happened to me. Because i stick to my personal rules for my gambling, i couldn't even do that.

Instead have a plan beforehand and tie it with your budget, so it won't be the issue with losing or winning streak. I stop gambling if i have topped my weekly budget. That's it. I don't need a rule for taking winnings out at some point or anything like that, because it's all play money until i cash out, and it's all bonus if i don't lose my weekly budget. I can only lose 100% of my weekly budget but the sky is the limit with winnings. And usually i withdraw if i won jackpot or something, but i don't have any limits on how much i can win before cashing out.
