In YouTube and other social medias, the creator has an option to restrict minor to watch their videos, except the minor create a brand new account and fabricated their ages. If there's no warning message in their contents, it means the creator really don't care with the followers.

Well, there are only a few influencers who care and are concerned about their viewers, and I also understand why, because they only do it as work, as long as they make money, that's all that matters even though they know that the other promotions they do will cause harm to other viewers especially minors. What you mentioned is true because most of those who promote gambling use a set up accounts to make the promotion they share more believable, sometimes the other influencers don't really know anything about gambling, it seems like they just accepted the offer because it's giving them a huge compensation.
It's really easy to notice, when the streamers have no idea with something they promote, their eyes will look into other side (not the camera) because they need to deliver messages from the project.

A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their vlogs or videos?
Most of the influencer doesn't really care about it as long as they are getting paid, just like most of the celebrities who promotes crypto without proper knowledge they doesn't care about it as long as they get paid for their job.
Surely there are people out there who would be tempted to try out the platform that those influencers are promoting, specially those who would show how easily they are winning tons of money from those platform.
As a grown up we couldn't deny the fact that even if we are aware that those video are fake or just for publicity we still are being tempted by it, so just think how the kids would react to it.
Since those influencers do not really care about what they are promoting then we need to stop caring about their opinions as they are worth nothing, besides even if they were promoting a reputable casino, the way they do it is not up to my liking, as even in those instances they are doing in a way I think it is deceiving, as they portray themselves as gamblers having a good time and obtaining profits with their bets, when most of the time the money they are betting is not even real.
Believe me, many of them are the best at what they do: playing the image game. But its simple, its about being upfront. When they hide the "sponsored" part, when its not crystal clear whats a real opinion and whats paid, its a problem. Big problem. Its bad business, and it erodes trust.

Think of yourself as the consumer - the very best consumer. We, the public, deserve better than getting misled. Its about respect. We should hold influencers to the highest standards. They got a big audience, that means big responsibility. We need more honesty, more authenticity in how they operate. It benefits EVERYONE - the influencers themselves, the companies, and most importantly, us. Thats how you build a strong, sustainable system. Period.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?
This is common in my country. They do not care than the money the gambling site they are advertising for will pay them.

YouTube is not better but there are local channels in my country that you will see gambling site advertising which is worse.

Recently I was passing through the bank road in my town, I saw a sign board of 1xbet. Did you know how many under age that would have seen it. The problem goes to government negligence.
Same here in my country but I can't blame those hungry influencers who are getting paid to promote online casino on socail media like FB which has way too high traffic from billions of users around the world and that is actually a downside if we are taking minors into consideration since most of them are now involved with it. Poor people becomes even worst since in the hope of making huge returns from gambling they end up nothing but miserable.
This is really a shame, I think the smallest scope that can save future generations and children is their respective families. The government or those in charge sometimes also have limitations in responding to the widespread promotion of gambling, and social media has now become the main forum for running gambling advertisements. Influencers who have a large follower base on their accounts sometimes don't think wisely in taking jobs. Also, quite a few advertisements circulating on social media today are fake advertisements, which edit the faces and voices of Influencers with the help of AI.

It is clear that the impact that can be caused is very large, we will find it difficult to prevent them from coming into contact with gambling, because almost every time children interact with social media. Even parents who really understand gambling and have been involved in gambling will not agree with the way these advertisements are run. Therefore, to avoid the risk of exposure to gambling advertisements, it is better for parents to always supervise the devices they give to their children.

"Believe everything  you see on social media at your  own risks".

I once fell victim to an influencers fake gambling promotion. We were told to rush to a certain betting site, login with his promo code and we will earn double on our initial deposit in that account.  All said about the betting site was true but I had difficulties withdrawing my funds, thereby making the betting platform useless. A lot of viewers fell victim to this.

A lot of influencers do not care about their fans, as long as they will be getting benefits. What do you expect from influencers who take advantage of every opportunity to make money from it? They've worked hard to become popular and famous, provided they are getting the attention and support they need from their fans and viewers, they won't stop exploiting them.

I have come to realize that, a lot of people who fall victim to gambling related scams promoted by  popular people around us are only pushed by greed to use sites they should be avoiding instead. Any gambler that can control greed will be able to avoid lots of gambling issues.

Yeah, as there are always minors who can easy view and visit whatever gambling site the promoters shared from there videos, as the emerging technology grows a lot, it's easy to for young minors to fake their age and their identities once they already get engage to whatever types of gambling that earn their interest.

But, that's also the thing here, money is all that matters for those influencers who don't care about the possibilities that they've got minors viewers/followers.

It's still unclear to me why influencers are being blamed for promoting gambling sites. Those who are to be tackled are the underaged players who don't mind their age and participate in gambling with fake identities. In some countries it's a felony, but due to the online settings they'll hardly get noticed and banned. Gambling is restricted for underaged people, and such majors like KYC has been made by the government and casinos to winnow out younger people from using online casinos. If the kids boycott it then the fault should be labeled on them, not the promoter.

A lot of ads are being placed online some are worse than gambling, yet the viewer still has the ability to ignore such ads and focus on what brought them on social media. The only issue with influencers is that they don't use same medium used in promoting gambling to discuss about responsible gambling. I think it'll help reduce the rate at which some young people would follow gambling ads. Their main aim is money, they don't care of the risks, if nobody talks to underaged players about risk and uncertainty of gambling results, most of them will wager blindly. Thereby, getting themselves into bigger troubles. Hence, if influencers should take it upon themselves to recuperate the brain of naive kids, their gambling thought might get removed.

That is the more reason why gambling shouldn't be hidden from the young ones and most people basically practice anything they see online more especially when they come from celebrities or influencers that is the reason why people need to educate their children with proper knowledge of the things happening around them so that when they hear it outside, they won't be misled or misinformed.
in normal circumstances someone is not supposed to be discuss anything that have to do with her gambling in front of the children because there is something that you do that relate with gambling your children will follow the step that is why it's not good to even associate yourself or make it open that you are a Gambler when you're home so it is good for someone to know what is doing can do it well so that the children will not emulate him to participate gambling when there are not up to age

Influencers are now willing to do anything to earn money. Although their propaganda goes against the society, they are not harmed by it. They value more on money. Moreover, in reality there is no way to say anything to them. This is only possible if the government prohibits or discourages them. Currently, the promotion of gambling sites on social media has increased so much that it is now creating a big problem especially for those who are not suitable for gambling. I've seen quite a few big influencer campaigns on my social media recently and I'm surprised to see celebrities conduct gambling campaigns like them. It is true that an influencer gets a lot of money for gambling promotion which no other platforms or businesses organization can offer. Due to which people are becoming more interested in gambling promotions. Anyway we all should raise awareness.

And that calls for being vigilant with what you are seeing over the net, particularly if you have kids who are now freely surfing the cyberspace. You need to instill the right things to do such as not to be tempted with what they are seeing or reading, don't be gullible with what the influencers are advising them to do, don't click unfamiliar sites as they might be phishing sites, among others.
Advise them not to easily fall from teasers or ads which are too-good-to-be-true. Most of them are fake and exaggerated.

The only issue with influencers is that they don't use same medium used in promoting gambling to discuss about responsible gambling.
This will never happen to an influencer, no influencer emphasizes responsible gambling, they only emphasize fun and that every time they bet they can win more and more money, if they can say to play responsibly, but they say it to meet their expectations, because they itinerary and when the eprosnas start playing, they are not interested in the uncertain situation of each player, what they want is for their community to start playing and playing, there is no other Option , in that case things can be very different when one of them Also being influenced they worry about others , it is very strange because they would enter the educational field and that does not interest them much, what interests them is what people spend on or what they advertise.

Various gambling establishments are now targeting content creators whose content is generally viewed by a large number of people and who are followed by the general public. It can be seen that such content creators promote such gambling sites in the middle of the video or at the end of the video. People who watch their videos and have no prior knowledge about gambling but see gambling promotions of their favorite content creators get some interest in gambling and when they get interested in gambling, they want to know about gambling. This is not only seen in the content creators' videos but also in advertisements for T20 league tournaments or other tournaments but direct promotion of gambling sites. Gambling sites that promote big clubs or big teams can be trusted but there are some content creators who promote gambling sites that cheat in the future just for the sake of money. We must give utmost importance to the selection of gambling sites so that we do not get cheated later on.

So you know some influencers who care about their viewers? If you don't know them, then you should not have used the word "few." As for me, all influencers do not care about their viewers, some might have feelings of guilt really at times depending on the niche they are into, but the zeal for the money and the actual money earned through their influencing services will overcloud the feelings. And no one can blame them for this, it is we who need to be wise, it is not all that we see that is actually as they are, do not trust anyone no matter how angelic they appear. That is the world we live in now, we should all be smart even as we enjoy it while it lasts. Smiley

Let's just see/know what we want and go for it, but not for the reason that one influencer says so, then you will act gullibly if we yield to such. Also, we must ensure that we do our own research about things because it is not all what those influencers propagate that are bad too, some are topnotch as well. Regardless, let us be doubtful, it's just for us to be smart in this regard.

Not only people need to be way more careful with the way they use the internet, they really need to begin to be more discerning with the content they choose to consume, during the last years people have grown more concerned about what they eat and the exercise necessary to keep their bodies healthy, but not such movement has surged to take care of their minds, after all if you consume nothing but the content posted by most influencers, what kind of effect do you think this can have on your mind? The same effect that you could get if you ate nothing but sweets of course.

Good point, if you can avoid those contents then you are preventing the possibilities that it can affect the way you think, there are many influencers even some of those that at first they've got decent contents but because of high demands and good  offers they allow those gambling business to penetrate and change the directions of their contents more on the money side, but moving back to that sentiments, if you don't mind those kinds of contents and you don't take time or invest time to learn about it, then there's nothing to worry as it won't pollute your minds.

But I have to remind you that if you don't want to be influenced by gambling content, the first step is to report the content and choose a statement that the content does not match what you watch on social media. We need to know that if we watch more than 1 minute of gambling content, then content with gambling keywords is found again on social media homepages, so you have to immediately filter content that is worth watching and it is better to filter gambling content if you are not the type of gambler.

A lot of social media influencers especially vloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their vlogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already.
Retain any information you get from the social media at your own detriment .... Does any of those promotions go for free?? These people are being paid to say whatever they have to say to you... Mostimes, I see them making another post to exonerate themselves should anything happen later on.
NGA win,  this and that flooding the Internet; the most exciting thing to know is that people still get into the comment sections to ask questions on how they could register and try their luck! Isn't that mind-blowing already? Lol ....

A lot of ads are being placed online some are worse than gambling, yet the viewer still has the ability to ignore such ads and focus on what brought them on social media. The only issue with influencers is that they don't use same medium used in promoting gambling to discuss about responsible gambling.

That's because it's what give them more money. Influencers across web forget that destroying the mindset of potential gamblers will cause more harm to the market than good. Soon enough just like on this thread, influencers will most likely get bad reviews with their careless policy of advertising. Enough to drop the rate people tend to value products or services advertised by influencers. Which is not a good sign for any business. it's important to level down every steps made on the internet to help make a better community both online and offline. Assuming those kids are being taken on detailed online teaching process on responsible gambling.

The kids viewing gambling ads can have a hint on things to do while or before gambling. Between, the information would be that gambling as an underage is not proper and it's considered a crime. The law is against it, both online and offline. Young people think differently and find alternatives to bypass some restrictions placed on them. Within their thinking they'll accept that participating in online gambling is right. But if someone reminds them online that gambling as an underage is a crime. They'll feel an eye is watching over them online. Since reverse is the case, they are encouraged to gamble online, what then do we expect of the kids to do if not gamble away their time. Hopefully, a correction will be introduced to help save young people from addiction.
