Yes, there is a lot of that on many site, you need to make sure that there is a site with good reputation, little complaints and ideally advertised here in the forum for a long time - at least two years. Generally speaking, let's just say that physical casinos are more trustworthy when compared to their online counterpart, physical casino (like we all know) has a building that exists physically, and there are real people working there, one can even meet with the manager of such casino if they so want.
So, it's always more difficult for physical casino to try to scam a gamblers, since there are several actions the gambler can take.

But on the other hand, online casinos are much more convenient, possibly more easier and quicker to operate than physical casino, and this is specially because on an online casino, there are no third party placing bets for the gamblers, it's the gambler doing everything him or herself.

This discussion didn't just start from whether or not a certain casino is bad but from some view of someone about the danger of physical casinos. If you checked what @wiwo wrote, you will find the main clue there, but still, I believe there is a misconception about what he wrote. If we are talking about physical casinos, we should differentiate them from an agent arrangement that has physical structures, they are not true physical casinos.

In my understanding, what @wiwo alleged is right, I read many of such fraud myself, but those agents' arrangements are to be blamed here, they are mostly in the form of a franchise arrangement. The main casinos that those agents use always have their presence online where anyone can play but also have those agents all around places where people may play for convenience's sake. This is typically different from the main Land-based casinos that should be tagged the true physical ones. And in that case, none of the ones on the forum suggested can still be an alternative since they are all online-based and I don't think fraud/cheating is common in land-based casinos.

As for looking for good sites then it would really be just that common sense on what we should gonna do or be doing first before making deposit on which it's normal that you would be needing up to make some research first and since we are talking about crypto based platforms then it's ideal that it is really that known into this forum or community on which sites or platform that has some community approved rating or having that good feedback specially into this forum then this is something which is really that recommend or something that you could really be trusted, but somehow if we do speak about  sites that are legit but doesn't have a thread into this forum then its really just that fine.It is really just that a matter of choice whether you would be having those considerations and deals up with it or simply you do have that absolute rule on where you do stick yourself.
