What's the point of this before you win? It may never happen, so what's the point of sharing your data before you decide to withdraw your winnings? Casinos mention that the request for verification can be from $1,000 or more, but I had a case where they asked for verification when I wanted to withdraw about $10, so I suspect that such a request can happen just when withdrawing. Some people think that Casino holds the winning through KYC if a user win big that’s why they assume that submitting KYC earlier will make them free to any casino way on holding winning.

I find it absurd since casino will allow withdrawal after the KYC even if you do it after you won. Those user that encounter problem are those who commit violation against the ToS. A casino will still hold someone account regardless if they submit KYC before or after they won as long as they break the ToS.

This is a completely normal situation. I always do this.
If I know that I will soon start playing big in a certain online casino, then I go through a full identity verification there in advance, so that when I win big there, I do not have to deal with the fact that my potential winnings will be withheld by the owners of the online casino.

Some casinos even sell those data to scammers who will use the details of another person to carry out a scam which they will definitely get away with, and the person who information the used for the scam will be accused of being the mastermind behind the scam.

So this is why even though kyc be a form of security for both the casino and the customers, it's still very important for us to be very careful on the casinos where we submit our personal information to, to avoid our information being abused or misused.

Your often not required of a KYC document even in the event of a big win if, you’ve always been straight with the casino you gamble with. I really have huge doubts that if someone tries and managed to hack a casino, he will be there for users private information. Well some casino allow you to gamble without KYC but will only let you withdraw once you complete the KYC. On the other hand, there are some casinos that will allow gambling only when you do the KYC beforehand. I think both of these casinos are ok for gambling.
