@darxiaomi is right, the worst part is we are getting Champions League for Eurocup. All the good teams on one side, so we will see the best games before the final.

Anyway, that is what's supposed to happen. Maybe its a good thing and we get 2 weird teams playing a fantastic final. Now Eurocup is like AFCON repeat. 0-0s all over.

This 'best 3rd place' rule can be played very smartly by certain teams, and Ivory Coast really used the group stage well, reserved everything for the knockouts onwards.

I haven't watched a single AFCON game so I can't be 100% sure, but I seriously doubt that Ivory Cost planned to be 3rd or anything of that sort because if that was indeed planned, they wouldn't sack the manager after the group phase. After all, you can't even plan something like that since you depend on other results and not only on yourself.

They probably just sucked in those first few games, like we did but thanks to the system they got another chance which they used to eventually win the whole thing.

Lol you have a point. But Asia and Africa teams are famous for doing these kinds of stupid shit, and even planned sackings ahead of time for whatever deal they made.

I’m probably safe with 2 points this round and will advance to the last 16 stage but my performances of 2 points, 3 points and 2 points (so far) in the group stage are under average and not good enough to win the prize.

I’ll need to be a lot better from now on going forward. We already have three guys on 15 points and one guy on 14 points. I am miles behind with 7 points. It’s getting to the stage where if I was to do really badly in the last 16 I probably wouldn’t buy back in as I’d be so far behind. I’ve done the minimum to stay aoive so far, need to start getting points immediately.

Well, if you look at it objectively, it's a pretty expected result for that group. Of course, as a Croatian I would have never put Italy in front of Croatia (maybe all of you don't know but Croatia has never lost to Italy). But for an objective person it's an expected result.

Today's games that just started should be interesting. All four teams in the group E have three points. Slovakia is already leading against Romania.

After that research I find I would rather change my answers but it is already too late    I am stuck with my initial predictions and they have been awful so far.

How unexpected that Slovakia - Romania game ended with a draw. Result that's good for both teams and they didn't even tried hard. One of extremely rare cases when I bet on draw.
Now we got that team with 4 points - Ukraine doesn't reach next stage for the first time when we got 24 teams format. While Hungary with 3 points and -3 goal difference have great chance to advance further. Football is unfair sometimes.

I can relate a bit. When I answered questions, didn't made extensive research, just used my head. But then when I look deeper, especially when I check what result each team needs in last round to progress further, then I think why the hell I went with such answer.

Not unexpected at all when you see a draw valued from the bookies at 2.10 or 2.20 at best,that heavily suggest that both teams were happy for a draw.Of course it was not a bad one fixed like Sweden vs Denmark which ended 2-2 and they let Italy out during that Euro where the draw was the lowest odd ever seen valued at 1.70 so the whole world were sure that game was fixed and took profit from it.I believe many people were happy with the draw result during tonight game as I believe many have bet on the draw exactly for this fact,that the odd was low and most likely would have come through,it did came through.The funny thing was the statement of Romanian coach that said we cannot stop what other people talk yet we want to win the game and come out first,they came out first but with a draw,so that was not unexpected at all,it was heavily expected.

I had Belgium in to finish second for the longest time, but eventually buckled and switched it to Romania before submitting. I expected the fear of not knowing what happens in the other match, they will fight to the end for the win.

It is a shame for Ukraine who may be dropping with 4 points, which is better than almost every 3rd place team.

Yes, thanks to the Denmark - Serbia match I got my 2nd point.    I see that you are still in danger. Portugal are highly unlikely to help you for the 10th question. I also said yes to that question so 0 points for me as well most probably. We both rely on Turkey to get 1 more point before the end of the round. As Czechia got a red card in the first half, I think Turkey are more likely to win. I hope us to get an advantageous result in this match to finish the group in the 2nd place too.

Dont worry, I am worse than you with only 5 points from all three rounds and I had to pay fee after first round
Competition is very good with Saint-loup on top with 16 points but Dittoup and jeremy are just behind him with 15 points.
I see some teams are making a lot of calculations in last round, maybe they are resting some players and playing the safer boring matches.

Turkey got us more point and dragging atleast 11 players out of the competition ( rough count )

Well still not my best round but 2 points though, Im pretty relieved that I managed to survive this round and earn that free bets. Atleast now half of my load are relieved, I know for sure that I might not top this competition but atleast I wanna survive and get something for playing. Im not gonna lie, so far this is actually more intense than BSFL lol
