Fellas, what do you say about the teams that are coming out? Netherlands not inviting Zirkzee is also something I did not expect, he's having a great season in Italy.

I would have picked him over Wijnaldum and Gravenberch. Koeman will also have a headache on what center back pairing to stick to and which fullbacks too.

If they go with that Van de Ven will have a strong chance to play as LCB. But again Ake has to play, he is one of the best defenders in the world today, and he favors playing at the left side of the defence. They will both probably be shuffled either side of Van Dijk.
I cannot wait to see the list of Belgium and Spain. I will pick one of them to win it over the hosts and the public favorites, England.

I don't see Belgium doing good, they couldn't when they were in their prime and now all their main players are older and nowhere near the form they had 4 years ago. I would pick them for the flop before picking them for the title.

The EUROs' winners have been difficult to predict before the tournament for some years now, so I will be tipping some dark horses to go far. I never fancied Belgium during their golden era but will be expecting a good appearance from them. Get into the knock out stages and you never know what can happen from them on.

Netherlands getting between 16 to 20/1 odds is my tasty love affair, except for some strange decisions (keeping Gini in when he's had a shit few seasons by his Liverpool standards, and hey I actually like the guy). I should probably start betting on one every few days to get good odds eh?

Also, should mention a reminder by name some of the people in BSFL who aren't here -- it's the only Sportsbet competition still ongoing now that the rest of the leagues are over (Serie A doesn't count haha).

Nah I cant picture Ukraine to win EURO but if I have to pick my top 3 then I would go for France, Portugal and Croatia to win. Obviously Germany sounds like a good option but the odds are not tempting enough for me to put my money on outright bet.

This is a fun format, but man imagine you are making it to the semi-finals, then the heart really starts pumping as there is a big paycheck on the line. Making it to the final is probably not even fun anymore when that round is to be played for $7k or so

Well, according to the names they are. I think England's taking it - they have so many options to choose from.
France hasn't been playing well recently and all other teams have neither the names nor the width of these 2 teams.

Yes, but they're not taking my money. Even I am not convinced to bet on Modric's knees any more (and yes, he's a still a match winner, but tiny giants can only do so much.

Couldn't agree more, he is not good enough for Portugal squad that is full of talent. Yeah he can score goals, maybe he can even do it better than other players in Portugal attack but they are also losing so much on the team pressing with him in the game. He should be 15-20 minutes man for them, used in special circumstances but his ego will never allow for that.

The three lions has a great side with players in a good shape. They have the best player in la liga this season, highest goalscorer in bundesliga and lastly the Premier League player of the season. ( Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane and Phil Foden ) I can also boast for them midfielder's. Declan had a great debut season and he'll be solid still for England.

Asides Kyle Walker, I'm not just confident with the backline, though this is a good chance for Southgate to win something otherwise he'll be sacked. France lacking creativity in midfied, they should even be scared of England who they knocked out during the Fifa World Cup Competition.

Germans are my favorite, they have a solid defense with likes of Tah from Bayern Leverkusen and Toni Rudiger who had a great season with Real Madrid. Joshua Kimmich included, aware he had a bad season with Bayern Munich but I know how much of a mentally strong player he's been.

In midfied they have Toni Kroos, IIkay Gundogan, Andrich, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane, Florian Wirtz. Damnit! It's gonna be bloody hot. Not to even forget Kai Havertz and Muller and that player Fullkrug playing for Dortmund. Hopefully Julian Nagelsmann handles them well.

The Euros is sure going to be an exciting tournament, well it always really is. Italy will be one of the most least expected champions to defend their trophy. They are potentially missing out on World cup qualification and have lost lots of players since their last outing at Euros with no real quality replacement across the entire pitch.

England are popular favorites as they always are and will be looking to reach back to back finals. I am keeping tabs on some dark horses but will be decided after the first games of the tournament.

Besides the fact that they are historical losers, I can't find any cons in this team, on paper they look very strong, don't they? It’s strange that Germany is in third place, in my opinion, besides the fact that they are the hosts of the tournament, it’s difficult to find arguments in favor of the fact that they should become stronger than everyone else, this really confuses me. I’m not saying that they are not stronger than half of the euro participants, but not England, France, Spain, Italy and many who are nearby for sure.

I'm Spain all the way, they are not even top 3 favorites but I always believe in the future of youngsters and I think after decade of power, people don't see them especially after World Cup lol.
