I'm winging most of my predictions in this final round of the groups as I think any research won't convince me to switch anything.

I don't think that research helps here judging on the results of the games.I personally never expected Turkey to play that bad during yesterday game against Portugal,I also did not expect Czech Republic to play that bad against Georgia so research I doubt can really help people.

For this third round since I heard everyone who pass this gets a free bet I have gotten for completely gut feelings from what I have seen in the first 2 games played of each group,the most interesting question it was who will finish second in the group of Belgium where every team has an exact number of points,each of them has 3 so anything can happen.Now if I heard it wrong about the free bet well I hope they implement it  .

Even if someone has a lot of points they could get 0 in the next round and be eliminated (unless they rebuy) which gives you a chance to catch up

Yeah that's another fact.    But I guess the people at top would definitely go for a rebuy anyway even if one of them experiences this scenario. I need to get very lucky to reach the top thinking of the gap. But after only 3 points in total in 2 rounds I can't believe in myself anymore.

In this round I scored exactly one point more than you, and although I was not formally eliminated, with a total of 4 points (3 in the first round and 1 in the second), there is no point in counting on victory.
Tomorrow I need to start all-in and make “unusual” predictions (I haven’t seen the questions yet but the strategy is obvious), and if it doesn’t work then rebuying after the third round is irrelevant.

Turkey gifted Portugal big time in the first half and I lost a lot of money on this one. Had both to score in it of course.

Czech Republic played quite well and should have won that game against Georgia and probably even covered handicap. The result is not always the best measure for things on the pitch but is the only one that counts in the end.

I am interested in the most difficult questions, so on the contrary, the questions for the third round seemed too easy to me  I am ready to take the maximum risk, but unfortunately in this round there were no questions with different amounts of bonus points for the correct answer. I think this is a little unbalanced since those who were lucky in the first round retain their advantage more easily.

I was thinking about the elimination and until now we have two sides of the edge, for one side is good to be safe and only one guy or two going eliminated for us the players, but in the other side of the edge with less people falling is less money added up into the prize pot, so come one we need more people falling each round and paying the rebuy.....

This round will has the highest motivation to buy in for those that drop out. You can just see it as funding your sportsbet account with 0.5 mbtc since you will be getting your money back, so if we have many people who fall this time I will expect them to buy back in.

Next rounds with higher buy backs and more gap between the leaders and the rest, I will not be so enthusiastic.

You are forgetting the part when one of our leaders gets bad round down the line and has to pay 5 mBTC to stay in. Really hoping something like that will happen to cause maximum ruckus.

Of course, nobody from the bottom will pay up but there should be at least 10 people and probably 20 with a fighting chance.

Yeah, I was expecting Germany to be the high-scoring one, not Portugal (given they were facing Turkey who have so many Turks in Germany so it was essentially a home game for them!). Didn't expect a point, but I got it. And the same for Czechs, didn't expect a point there, Georgia were lucky.

Riding my luck, nice to see 5 greens in a row, but still some distance behind the leaders -- but it's a nice place to be nevertheless!

I am hoping for that too and there certainly is always that possibility. I was replying to darxiaomi in the context of having enough buy backs to significantly affect the pot. I am expecting what is a bad round to be slowly moving above zero once we enter the knockout phase of the competition, 1 or 2 may not be enough to stay up at that time.

Heartbreaks and near misses will add to the excitement.

Finally someone decided to play against Germany, now we shall see how good they really are. So far they had it way too easy and I was really looking forward to see them tested. Should be a good second half in front of us. In addition to falling a goal behind they also lost Tah for next game. I would also like to see much more play time for Fulkrug, he looked dangerous every time he plays.
