Both goalkeepers in this game did well after making a combine saves of 17, it was indeed a very tough match to watch. PSG really amuse me in this match and I never knew they would hold Liverpool this much and only allowing them to score just a goal till the end of the match. Both Goalkeepers didn’t do well in my opinion, Allison Becker was the standout goalkeeper in my opinion and a deserved man of the match performance, he kept his team right in the game from the start to finish and even went ahead to play the long ball that actually made the goal, he made 6 goal scoring Saves and some other few rookie saves too, aside him Liverpool wouldnt even be optimistic going I fit the second leg. As for PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma I think he wasn’t at the level of Allison or even near him, he made saves which were casual and let the team down when they seriously needed him. The goal from Harvey Elliot should have been parred away and not end up in the back of the net. I bet Allison would have kept that ball out of the net.

Just as you feared Real Madrid conceded a goal making it 1:1 until B.Diaz goal in the 55th minute to restore the lead for Madrid and secure the win. While Arsenal beat PSV in a 7:1 thriller securing their next stay in the quarter finals already from the first leg. Aston Villa also won by a good margin against Brugge, so far they have really been impressive in the Champions League and I hope to see them progress futher to the semi finals.

Victories such as was seen in the Arsenal game is why, Arteta would get the impression that Arsenal doesn’t need a proper striker. "Sluggish " is good "unorganized " is better , they were somehow after securing 2 goals atleast and they had to defend more at the same time, it kinda cost them some dangerous counter attack after some disposessions, they were just so lucky to have Szczesny yesterday, he did almost 70% of the save and to  me he was the MVP... it's hard to play with 10 players in just 30mins not even to talk more of 70mins+ so they did tried that yesterday

Many people disliked Barcelona going to the next round because they are fans of Real Madrid. We really understand the situation, and it has happened many times in previous tournaments. Benfica is playing well, but they can't stop Barcelona attackers at the moment because they play really offensive and can not execute the many advantages. The winning of the match by Barcelona after Pau Cubarsi was sent off just 22 minutes into the match, is something great and a confirmation that Barcelona indeed have a wonderful team. Alisson Baker had probably the best game of his career yesterday, as fending off 27 shots and not conceding a goal is a huge accomplishment.
In terms of possession PSG also completely dominated and had 71% of the ball possession in the first half, in the second half Liverpool slightly improved the situation, but still the dominance of PSG was absolute, so much so that Salah could not make a single shot on goal, which has not happened for a long time and it is strange that Arne Slot did not replace him earlier.

Alisson Baker was the man of the match yesterday. His performance was out of this world yesterday. Every moment i expect a goal he just punched the ball out.
PSG was really unlucky to have played against a good keeper like that. Next leg they have to do better if they want to put the ball at the back of Allison Baker goal post.
Salah yesterday was disappointment  because he never got the chance to play better. He made some inaccurate passes which perhaps might have been a goal scoring opportunity. Arne Slot understand this in the second half and took him out of the game.

We must also give credit to Mendes, who played personally on Salah and did not let him turn on the field, constantly pressed and it felt that such guardianship for Salah was a big surprise, because usually Salah manages to get away from defenders and escalate the attacking action. With what you said I assume you understand the game of football very well and I believe you also know that Liverpool is at advantage as it is right now, having said that, I want you to know something thats if you don't know that already, Liverpool wouldn't be relaxing in that match, by now I believe that liverpool manager have seen their lapses in that match which I believe that he wouldn't want it to repeat itself again, when it comes to the champions League competition, you can't compare Liverpool with PSG, I know one will say that was then yea but even if it was then, the history keep repeating itself, may be we arent taking some records into consideration, in there last 3 meetings both teams managed to get 1 home winning each before Liverpool  current 1 goal victory against them from away, with this analysis I don't think Liverpool is going to giveup on the returning leg though am expecting a fierce battle between the two teams in that match but am a bit convinced that Liverpool will qualify to the next stage, Liverpool understands this game, though they were lucky to have gotten the goal which came as a surprise to many as such some persons were saying that they don't deserve it based on the fact that PSG performance was very impressive but football is not judged that way, what matters is how able an individual team is to utilize their chances.
