I think Leverkusen should just wait for another season because they are already eliminated.

For Barcelona, I understand that playing away from home in the Champions League is not easy, but playing against ten men since the 25th minutes is enough for them to score at least two goals to have guarantee of their spot in the quarterfinals; but it’s all ended well since they managed to score one goal away from home, they need to be very serious in the second leg because anything can happen.

For Liverpool, they have a lot of work to do because if they played like at Anfield the story might change.

Barca dodged a bullet. Cubarsi's mistake put them in a very difficult situation, but fortunately Benfica didn't score. Raphinha used their defensive mistake and scored. This was a great relief for Barca. Benfica doesn't have a chance anymore, Barca won't lose at home.

Yes, Benfica has more chance to win with have 52% ball possession. They also have 8 shots on goal and have more bit passing than Barcelona, but because Barcelona is a club that is of a higher class, Benfica couldn't keep up with them despite having more players. I agree with you: to have a chance to the next round seems mission impossible for Benfica. They have make at least 2 different goals to win and continue to 8 round. Almost all of the game had been PSG attacking and Liverpool defending it. Liverpool's defense specially goal keeper Alisson deserves a credit for this lead.
On the near end of the game, A long pass and a couple of touch led them to have a quick goal in Paris. But we'll need to wait for the second leg to get a winner.
This is the story of Liverpool for the whole season in Premier Leauge as well. They are not drastically better than other teams, they somehow score a bit more goal than they concede.

This encounter between PSG vs Liverpool just exposed the Red completely like they met their match but they couldn't do anything even Salah wasn't in the game that they had to sub him and they have been operating on luck for long and they use the good number of goals and games won to cover up, Liverpool could not hold the ball for 30secs, the PSG players was everywhere marking man to man and they never let Slot's men to have a little bit of rest, is like counter after counter and it pains me to see that the game ended in favor of Liverpool, at least it would have ended in a draw because seeing PSG play in that manner is something I have never seen them do in the champions league against a very strong side. PSG dominated the game, because I watched that first half, and I was quite surprised at their performance. Liverpool just couldn't match their energy. psg's attack was on a different level from what I watched in the first half. They had so many opportunities that ought to have given them at least, 3 goals. But they failed to capitalize their chances, as Alisson made so many interesting saves.

I didn't watch the second half because I knew Liverpool will certainly find a way to turn the game around after psg had failed to do that in the first half. That's just how football works. When you fail to take your chances, it might come back to hunt you, and I think the commentator also made mention of something like that. PSG still stand a chance in the second leg, but they really need to work on their finishing. And Liverpool can protect their current advantage by playing better in the second leg.
