That decides for us. Aston Villa won against Club Brugge 3-1 in Brugge's home. They surely would move to the quaterfinals. They just need to defend 2nd leg in Villa Park.
Arsenal was easily the choice for win against PSV but I hadn't expected a 7-1 in this stage of champions league. Dortmund LOSC 1-1 draw is too as expected.
The largest debate was about the Madrid Derby game between Real and Atletico. It was a very competitive match but Real shined with 1 goal lead but still it don't decide much. The result between Dortmund - LOSC and Real - Atletico still needs to wait for 2nd leg to decide which would come victorious.

I think the result of the Dortmund match is extremely unexpected, because I bet that Dortmund will score 1.5 or more goals and they gave odds of 1.67, which means that bookmakers also expected Borussia to score at least two goals.

Atletico were lucky that Guardiola didn't like the way ALvarez was behaving and Alvarez's transfer to Atletico is one of the most successful in recent times. The only goal that Atletico scored was essentially created by Alvarez, who showed great individual skill when he beat Real Madrid players and then scored with an irresistible shot from in front of the penalty area.
When Modric came in, Atletico could not make a single shot at Real's goal! I think for Simeone it was a surprise that Real can also park the bus and not let the opponent play soccer.
So if all of Real's leaders are healthy, the chances of Atletico advancing to the next stage are minimal and I think are around 20%.

Arsenal's impressive victory over PSV showed that Juventus had been eliminated due to their inconsistency this season. 1-7 was a huge disappointment from PSV despite playing at home, this is the same club that gave Juventus a hard time in the playoffs, and I thought PSV was just better than Juventus. To be honest, if Juventus had played at their best, they could have beaten PSV in the second leg, given that Arsenal was able to defeat them 1-7 and the Gunners' players were still unavailable. What if all of the attacking players were fit? I am confident that Arsenal will make it 10 for PSV.

I underestimated Arsenal's away match against PSV because they lost their last league game to West Ham. I even predicted that if PSV did not win, I was not expecting them to lose, and I had no idea Arsenal would play by themselves because this does not appear to be a match in which Arsenal plays against 11 players. However, when Arsenal players were scoring goals, I was hoping Sterling would score in the second half when they subbed him in because he has never scored in an important match for Arsenal since they loaned him from Chelsea.

An incredible result, I didn't expect Arsenal to beat PSV so confidently, I think that the PSV players are to blame for such a score, because they missed almost everything that flew into the goal, they missed 7 of their 8 shots on target, this is just a terrible defensive game. Brugge, by the way, also made two gross mistakes in defense and thereby deprived themselves of a chance to reach the quarterfinals. Today I will most likely watch PSG - Liverpool, I think that PSG will not lose this game, and Enrique understands that it is important for them to win today.

Yesterday's Arsenal victory over PSV didn't even excite most Arsenal fans,and if you had looked at the fans at the stadium,you would have seen them just quite,it was unlike Arsenal fans that will sing the names of their players,and this behavior came because they have almost given up on the tittle race as Liverpool tops them with about 11 clear point.Arsenal can not do any magic to will all their remaining match,and Liverpool are not showing any sign of a fall,they keep soaring higher every day.

It is surprising to see a team that there was so much worry about the ability to score goals without strikers and win this game now leading the game by five goals and it doesn't look like they're done yet. They struggled in the Premier League, but it looks like they have adjusted to their new condition.  Having this sort of advantage in the first leg away from home is a good thing, Arsenal can easily finish off the second leg at the Emirates.  

It was an easy win for Arsenal although some have questioned Arsenal's attack without a key figure. The big win for Arsenal makes them look more ready for the competition although perhaps this is because PSV Eindhoven did not put up much of a challenge on the visitors and Arsenal will certainly be more comfortable going into the knockout stages playing at home with a big win like this.

In the Premier League itself Arsenal are starting to give up on catching up on Liverpool because in their last two games Arsenal have lost and drawn against West Ham and Nottingham Forest so catching Liverpool will be a little more difficult.

Leverkusen will beat Bayern Munich 1:2 from this game, and no matter what Bayern Munich will going to play in this stage, it will not lead them to stop Leverkusen not to win this game because Leverkusen will play this game to secure victory at the end.

from the first goal that rodrygo scored to the one alverez scored and even the final real madrid goal, they where completely brilliant display of individual talent in both teams. you could see that even before alveraz scored the goal, he was man making everywhere even to areas that he is not supposed to cover. that was just the passion that they needed and luckily, it payed off for him and the team. even though real madrid will be playing away in the second leg, with the way things played out in this first leg, it is going to be another automatic qualification for real madrid. jude bellingham will join the team taking out camavinga from the squad and making the midfield much stronger. it certainly means that the second leg will be worse off that the first leg for ATM

when you look at the way modric plays at his age, i wont be surprised if he keeps playing for madrid till the next two season and still plays very well with his level of experience, he doesn't need to be al too energetic. just his ability to dictate how the game is going and make sharp distribution of passes makes him an irreplaceable midfield maestro and an asset that real madrid would not want to let go anytime soon

Feyenoord is at home in rotterdam and we know how a crowd can really energize a team. they have an eye catching attacking style and more recently beat and eliminated a strong Italian side, so they know how to stick around. That said, if they can’t rein in their defense and stymie Inter’s blisteringly fast counters, they could find themselves in trouble.

but then  Milan — they have plenty of Europe experience in their favor. they are generally quite sound tactically and can break quickly from defense to attack. They do have a few injury problems on the left though, so the coach might have to adjust a little.

Overall, though, I am siding with Inter scraping out a win, something like a 2-1. It’ll be a close match, but I think Inter’s experience and tactical intelligence will give them the nod over Feyenoord over the course of the two legs.

PSV also played at home yesterday and the result of the match was humiliating for the hosts... Although I think Feyenoord play more aggressive, but Inter are no worse than Arsenal... I think that Inter will be able to take revenge on the Dutch for the Italian clubs... But I think that in this match there will be goals from both clubs and a lot of corners...

Yes, this is a profitable thing for Real Madrid. It's just that the aggregate is only 1 goal. Yes, of course with an aggregate of 2-1, Real Madrid is not safe to face Atletico, especially the second leg is played at the Metropolitano Stadium. Real Madrid should have been able to steal more goals in this match, but unfortunately Vini's chances could not be utilized properly. However, Real Madrid's game in this match was very obvious, the absence of players like Ceballos and Bellingham had quite an impact on Real Madrid's midfield, which made Mbaape and Vini seem to not get passes from the middle so that no one could pamper sweet passes for Real Madrid's front line.

However, even so, I also salute Real Madrid, they are a team that knows very well how to win in the Champions League even without a complete squad. Real Madrid's game in this match did look "simple", but the individuals they have can always bring change and the two goals were the skills of their individuals. It is true that the most important thing is that Real Madrid has won the 1st leg of this match and of course in the 2nd leg Real Madrid can take better advantage of the opportunities created, but the Derby match is really exciting, yes of course there could be surprises, for example Atletico Madrid play better or Real Madrid play even better. However, what is clear is that Real Madrid's dream of advancing to the quarter-finals is certainly not completely safe because Atletico will definitely try to win because Real Madrid did not score many goals in the 1st leg.

I think if anyone is out of touch with reality it's the Liverpool fans who think that winning the farm league means they are strong on the international stage. Maybe Liverpool will win both games, maybe even win the Champions League title, but it's too early to say. Personally, I'll bet cash on PSG, Liverpool are overvalued.

Yeah I will definitely put my money on Liverpool today.    2.75 odds seem really tempting. I know it is riskier to trust them away but it is worth the risk for me.

I think PSG are actually competing in the farmers league. There is nobody to put up a good fight against them in the whole league for years. Only in some years we see different champions. But when it comes to Liverpool it isn't the case for them. They are about to end Manchester City's 4-year title streak in the Premier League. This is impressive especially while doing it with a brand new manager.    Let's see man. By the way I don't think Liverpool are going to win the Champions League title. My favourite is still Real Madrid for that.

Julian Alvarez shown his quality in matches for Manchester City and Argentina, and honestly there are not many young players who are able to play big matches  like in World Cup tournament with big pressure and played well like Julian Alvarez. Remember that when he played and won World Cup 2022 title, he was still an alternative player in Manchester City. After that tournament, he had more chances to play for the club but it's not enough for an ambitious player like Julian and he decided to leave. Atletico Madrid got a great opportunity to get Julian and even this player slowly started with them, now he and the club actually satisfied with his performances and contributions for the club.

Football does not work like this, Real Madrid can control the match well but if they are careless in some minutes, they can be punished by Atletico Madrid. PSG & liverpool. this teams are in the very good form. psg have been finely efficient at home, winning all matches, and a very attacking forward.   enrique, stresses keeping possession and containing Liverpool’s fast transitions. while Liverpool, despite its fine league form and lofty expectations, has been something less than consistent on the road in Europe in recent years. they’ve had mixed results in away fixtures, which may play a part.

I feel PSG will have the upper hand based on home advantage and attacking prowess, particularly people like ousmane dembele. but the quality of liverpool, with Mohamed Salah’s ability to score goals, makes this a difficult situation.

From the previous match I have a thought that this season's UCL is very difficult to predict and even popular teams like Man City and Milan failed to enter the last 16. These three teams can get surprising results such as draws or losses. Because even though these three teams lose, they can still win in the second leg.
