I agree with you that Champions League will be more competitive next season. The Leverkusen team is very strong despite not having many star players. It really doesn't make sense to compare Manchester City with Leverkusen and we will only be able to judge it when next season's Champions League rolls around. Leverkusen is a magical one-season team that didn't even find its best level in the final round and that changed most people's perception that they couldn't be compared to the elite Champions League teams. Even so, this is still a big competition and after all, Manchester City is still the favorite to win among other great teams. It's all because they have a great coach with a legacy and also a squad depth that is very difficult to stop.

I'm not sure about next season even though I will be playing in the Champions League, but whether history will repeat itself in the 2024/2025 season for Leverkusen is still doubtful because Bayern München will prove its strength in next season, and whether Leverkusen will be able to face strong clubs when playing at home. Champions League, maybe the defeat in the final was a lesson for the Leverkusen squad but it must be noted that the strength in the Europa League and the Champions League are very different, so that's why I still doubt Leverkusen next season.

Diego Simeone has been managing Athletico Madrid for nearly 700 or so games if I am not wrong, which is quite a lot and something we do not see that often anymore, because most teams just change their managers like they are changing a sock so we do not get to see this many teams with the same manager all that often.

A coach staying very long in a team is good  but there ought to be a limit that will based on the achievements of the coach and the progress they gave made as well. To me a good coach should be able to prove himself within a period of five years. Diego Semeone is a good coach no doubt, but the results he has achieved in Atletico Madrid, in my opinion, is less than expectations and the name of Atletico Madrid. I remember he has lost Champions league final about twice which is 2014 and 2016. This to me is not a good one and if I were to be the management of the club, I would have tried another coach.

If a new manager is appointed in a club and he is removed from the team in the next season, then we say that the manager should be given more time because a manager cannot fully apply his skills in one season. But if a manager takes charge of the same team for five consecutive seasons and cannot bring significant changes in the performance of that team, then the club should exclude that manager and plan anew. A manager who has not done well for the team in five years will not do well in the future. We may have forgotten the last time Atlético Madrid performed to our liking. They are not seen to perform significantly in either the Champions League or La Liga. I would definitely support a change of manager if their club's performance changes by changing the manager.

Based on your opinion, Real Madrid is not strong teams in Champion League and success become the winner? I don't think true about many top teams loss and left with weakness teams but success qualified until Champion League final round after Dortmund and Real Madrid as the most stronger teams.
For next season, usually team with mentality winning such as Real Madrid has bigger opportunity for winning Champion League and their habit get three consecutive winning after did last several years ago.

The new teams participants such as Bayern Leverkusen or the Europe League winner Atalanta can't guarantee will success in Champion League, although they had impressive performance last season but Champion League has own difficulty since phase group after adopting new format until knock out or semifinal round phase.

They do not have a guarantee to do well, but they are not expected to win it neither anyway. I mean if Atalanta or/and Leverkusen ends up going out of the group stage, which will be a different system for now, but lets assume that they go out of the group stage, that would be more than enough. I think that has to be the most important part, if they end up with teams that they could beat, and they get the results they should, that would be more than what people expect from them anyway.

This is why I believe that the best way to move forward with this would be just realizing that we are going to end up with a good return for them. There is no need to expect them to win the title, that would be expecting way too much from them anyway.
