And the attacking positions, specifically the striker position is the biggest problem that they had. I think Mbappé will fix that problem. There was a time not long ago that Paris Saint German (PSG) had K. Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar in their team that we all thought they were going to do wonders and capture the champions league like never before but nothing of such as expected of such squad materialized. Am not saying Madrid is not a threat with the inclusion of Mbappe in their squad towards next season but that doesn't make them unbreakable, neither does it give assurance about their winning the UCL trophy next season. They could be unlucky and with various lapses because having the team crowded with star players doesn't omit them from some possible lapses to which their opponents can drill through.

I have no expectations from any team yet till the start of the season with teams transitioning from the group stage to the next round. All I look for is enjoying the games and be well entertained with good football. And should Real Madrid continue in their expedition of winning the UCL over and over again the competition will eventually start looking boring for football fans, this is why we need other teams to intercept their serial flow.

Interestingly in the Champions League there are no teams that can always dominate. Except Real Madrid is only able to maintain three times in a row and of course it will be very difficult to materialize again.

You're right. In theory, Man City and Bayern Munich will be more difficult to beat Real Madrid. But it is not impossible that Man City and Bayern Munich can beat Real Madrid. Sometimes when a team feels that they are stronger, they become lazy to evaluate their weakness. So if Real Madrid is too focus on attacking, their defense can be so fragile and the opponents can beat them.

Manchester City will not be able to win Real Madrid next season because their players are not equal to the task, and if they cannot next season then they might not anytime soon. This is because if Pep leaves the club after next season no one's knows if the coach that will come to City will be able to strengthen the club the way Pep built it.

As for Bayern Munich, it is impossible for that to happen next season in the sense that they just changed their coach and brought Kompany who I don't think will be able to add much impact on the club's performance next season. He should focus more on how to win Bundesliga and not UCL because much is expected from in from the fans.

It is quite surprising that Bayern Munich has a chance to beat Real Madrid because after all, to get the Bundesliga trophy next season will also be very doubtful. Because anyway,  it looks like Bayen Munich appointed the wrong coach and thus, it looks like to getting good results in the Bundesliga is also likely to be difficult for Bayern Munich next season. So, there is no chance for Bayern Munich to make it to the Champions League final.

But about Manchester City, if for example Pep Guardiola declares to leave at the end of next season, then of course Pep Guardiola will make the best and maximum effort to give Manchester City good results before his departure. After all, basically Manchester City in the Pep Guardiola era is still a great team, and of course always has the chance to go further in the Champion League. I just can't see how it is going to be possible for other teams to win UCL for a few more years, we may see another Real Madrid domination for a few back to backs.

However, UCL is a difficult league, if you have even just a few players, maybe even just one player missing then suddenly all your strategy could be in ruins and you may play much worse than you normally do. Haven't we seen Real Madrid lose 4-1 just a year ago? We have, and I think that's the important part, we need to remember that we could see them do something like that and have a bad game and lose, that's the only way.
