Next season will be hugely surround with prizes,we have a lot going through our minds. The stronger club win the UCL trophy with ease, and I'm counting on my favorite club to proclaimed the status club with ease. The new UEFA Champions League format seems interesting but it's definitely going to  e unwelcome in the current season, atleast most people are yet to acknowledge this format and put it into use. 

Believe me, there are not a few strong clubs in the Champions League because those who participate here are selected clubs from other leagues who have strong performance so it is not easy for any club to face each other even if it is Real Madrid because we cannot predict what will happen next season .
At first I didn't understand why the Champions League changed their format, but after I thought about it, it seemed like this was done so that the competition would become fiercer and there would be more matches like the domestic league, even though I actually don't know how the matches will go.

The failed in the UCL last season, and it's proven they were not deserving to go further in UCL. But Arsenal almost beat Munich. I would not say Arsenal played badly in that game. They must be coming back stronger than last season. Last season, they failed against Bayern Munich, but i hope they will able to beat any big teams in UCL.
All in all, strengthening their mentality is the biggest improvement to be done by arsenal.

What makes you say Arsenal doesn't deserve to go further in the UCL? every club deserves the best, not just the clubs that always dominate. Arsenal are the top clubs in the Premier League, their performance can be said to be almost on par with Manchester City. If Man City can beat Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, then Arsenal can too. This depends on strength they face clubs from other leagues.

It would take a while for me to understand how this new UCL format will play out especially the league phase. I have become very familiar with the old format so much that this new changes seem very strange. What qualification rounds are being played right now? Because I thought all teams for 4 pots have been seeded already. With all these changes, are you all still big on Madrid winning the UCL? I strongly doubt so because the new changes will make it a lot tougher even for the strongest teams in the competition.

There are quite significant differences from this new Champions League format, usually we see from the group phase which is filled with 4 teams per group and the top 2 positions will qualify for the knock out phase, the 3rd position will be in the European League play offs while the last position must be removed. This season we will see a new format, namely the league format from the start, the top 8 positions will go straight to the next round while the 9th to 24th positions will undergo a play off round, most likely they will enter the last 16 round later with a knockout system, after The format will be the same as the old format.
This is clearly confusing for some people, because some people will definitely think this is really like the league we usually see in the domestic league. However, there is a difference in that they will only play 8 matches, 4 matches will take place at home and the other 4 matches will be played away.

What an intelligent thought by you Oc Tradism. I had once asked myself how that young guy would be able to last very long in the industry considering that he came too early. Coming at 16 is very early and if Yamal is well mentored and protected as you said, he could live upto the standard of Ronaldo and Messi.

In the other hand, I don't know if playing plenty of matches will do more harm than good for the young boy or the reverse. He recently turned 17, so we shouldn't expect to see him injured frequently and even if he is injured, the healing will be super fast. So, he should give his best now he has the energy and fame, tomorrow cannot be rightly predicted.

I think Arsenal doesn't have to make a major overhaul to become champions because they already have a pretty solid squad and a good coach. At most, they only need to sign a few players who are really needed and don't have to make changes on a large scale. Arsenal's real problem is that they still don't have the winning mentality that Man City and Real Madrid currently have, and I think if on several occasions they can reach the final, it will form that necessary mentality on its own.

Arsenal are not missing out on anything not to be a major contender of the champions league just like Manchester City and Real Madrid have been over the years now. Arsenal are a great team and they have all it takes to win any trophy now. Just like you’ve mentioned, they just lack that winning mentality and that is what have caused them to not have win any trophy for themself till date despite the great performance they pull up every season. If they can have that winning mentality and their mind set at making sure that they get what they want by all means, they can win a trophy in the next season. I have so much believe in them but they always disappointed towards the end of the season.

We cannot deny because for now even though Arsenal are a very good club but for Champions League matters it is clear that they are just an ordinary club that does not have any advantage in the championship competition but that does not mean they are bad because they are still in the Champions League zone it proves that they deserve to be there but not to be champions because seeing from their golden era even Arsenal always failed and their best achievements were only finals and runners up.

The Champions League is filled with great and great clubs in all the best competitions in Europe and it is very difficult for clubs like Arsenal who do not have any experience in the finals to compete because in the end even though Arsenal are currently a great club but in fact there are clubs that are even greater than them in terms of mentality, experience and club strength.

Some last seasons of Arsene Wenger, Arsenal fell a lot in quality and competitiveness and it lasted many years after that. It only started to change and improve since Arteta return to Arsenal as their head coach. If we recall, the appointment of Arteta on this head coach position caused a lot of worry but up till now, it's a good decision.

However Arsenal now are going to a new challenging period with which they need to win titles, not only to be an impressive runner-up in Premier League or only go a little bit far like quarter final in Champions League. Arteta must help Arsenal to win titles in next one to like three or four seasons. If he fails, his position will be insecure and maybe taken over by someone else.

It seems that we cannot expect too much from Arsenal in the Champions League although Arsenal have experienced a significant improvement in their current form

Arsenal are not belong to very strongest teams in Champions League to be considered as one of last four or two best candidates to win it. It's true but they are strong and competitive and in sports, with it, Arsenal can make big surprise but chance to surprisingly win Champions League is not big and barely happen. It's 20 years since a last time an underdog like Porto win Champions League.

Actually there isn't a huge change but there are some important points to know.

• There isn't going to be anything such as moving on in the Europa League by finishing in a specific position anymore.
• There is no group format in the first place.    It looks like a league with 36 teams.
• Top 8 qualifies for next round directly, 9-24th placed teams play a knockout phase and the rest say goodbye to the CL.
• Everything else is the same as before - qualification rounds which are going on currently and the rounds after the league stage ends.

With the new purchase of Riccardo Calafiori for 50 million, in my opinion Arsenal has put another important piece in making an excellent path at European level with other players. Apparently, Riccardo Calafiori also did not play for AS Roma because after all, AS Roma also loaned Riccardo Calafiori to Genoa and after Riccardo Calafiori returned to AS Roma, in fact AS Roma sold Riccardo Calafiori to FC Basel and then to Bologna. And at Bologna Riccardo Calafiori experienced a very high  increase, but perhaps also because of Bologna's success last season which managed to finish in the top five in the Serie A standings. But indeed, because considering also about Riccardo Calafiori's age which is still 22 years old, then it will be a deal for the long term for Riccardo Calafiori to play at Arsenal.

Arsenal's success in getting Riccardo Calafiori will certainly make Arsenal's defense stronger because after all, last season in the Premier League that Arsenal became the team that conceded the least. The teams that compete in the group stage are the best teams representing their respective countries' domestic leagues, so it is only natural that they play with great enthusiasm to beat each other even though their club ratings are not as high as the ratings of top teams like Arsenal.

Besides, Arsenal so far has been better than Arsenal in the last few seasons, I mean the performance of the players has been very good and Arteta has made his team look stronger. Very strange format indeed, I was very much surprised to find champions league football been played thinking most leagues are on holiday and all that...I wonder what's going on with this competition now

Unlike the Euro's where the big names failed to make names for themselves, the UEFA platform is a whole different animal and I have no doubt that these boys will bring their A game as their fan base here is much larger

Outstanding work by Arteta. He has turned Arsenal around. You notice the difference when facing a powerhouse like Bayern. Its about heart as much as aptitude.  Bayern discovers a means of winning even when they are not doing as best they might. Arsenal performs well; but, they collapse under pressure. Though they can compete with anyone, can they outlive them?

You aim to be Champions League champions? It calls more than simply elegant footwork. You have to be tough. You really have to be merciless. You really must desire it more than the others. Arsenal has to ignite the fire within of their belly. They have to start thinking like winners. If not, they will simply continue to dream about that trophy rather than lifting it.

Arsenal winning the champions league is something almost every good football fan is waiting to witness as it would be one hell of a celebration and with the way there are currently playing one would think that it's possible for them to actually achieve this but in reality it's really hard because their level of focus and stamina in their games of the champions league looks a little bit way off as they continue to struggle to show that finesse that can class them as a champion minded team, I think arteta focus would be more on the premier league as it very close but yet so distant from him.

Accepted. With Mbappe now in the team, they will be moving like a ghost and no club will be able to stop them from achieving all the trophies next season in any competition that they participate in.

Real Madrid will still win UEFA Champions League next season and I don't see any club that will be their rival. With the signing of Mbappe, I don't see Manchester city as a threat to them anymore.

Real Madrid currently has a fierce or scary team thanks to their attacking options and the midfield options, the defense is definitely not that of a world class team. Their center back options are definitely limited with Rudiger, Eder militao, David Alba and Vallejo bin the only options available. Alaba is currently ruled out for some time now and that leaves them with just three options. Their is a saying by sir Alex Ferguson that attack wins you games and defense wins you tittles and that’s what Madrid is lacking. So saying that no club can defeat them is an exaggeration in my opinion
