Anyway, this first part of the 2nd game day in the UCL showed again how stupid this new modus with more teams is. Out of 9 games we have 5 blowout games with 3x 4:0, a 5:0 and a 7:1. What is this? UCL used to be competitive and now this is a just a bad joke. It's like watching the domestic cup in the first round where 3rd/4th tier teams are hosting the top teams.

Guess it's fair to say that after only 27 games this year this "project" is doomed. UEFA did it again, took a good and solid product anf shat on it to milk more money. Very sad.

For Arsenal, of course, they played very carefully because their target was to get 3 points and they managed to get it by beating PSG.

The three points was important for Arsenal, just as it was for Barcelona. Good game control from Arsenal not to allow PSG score one goal because that would have made the final time in the game very uncomfortable for them.

Borussia is now leading the table with six points and unlikely will be topped by any other team tomorrow as they now have +9 goal difference unless Bayern manages to win with more than 2 goals advantage against Aston Villa tomorrow, but I seriously doubt that. Bayern is the bookies' favourite, but my money would go on Villa.

Villa is a big club, and they will give Bayern a challenge that they may not expect especially as they play at the home

You probably missed the previous round and the Bayern - Dynamo game 
As for the games, high scoring is fun... but I still understand that this is not the Champions League. When one club is 10-20 times stronger than another and can win with a reserve team, I don't see any interest in it (plus the games have almost no tournament value).

15 goals in the first halves already. Wow!    Dortmund have a really big role there though. I was confident with their win today but this wasn't near my expectation considering how Celtic also started the CL.

I was expecting Arsenal to win at Emirates. But the only surprising to me is to see PSG not even being able to score 1 goal. When I first saw Luis Enrique's starting eleven choice, I was worried about this kind of an outcome and now it happened. Barcola had a really bad day and preferring Lee as the centre-forward and Doue on the right wing were also choices hard to understand.

Agree. It was surprising that some key players of PSG on the bench. I saw Kolo Muani, Fabian Ruiz, Asensio, and Škriniar on the bench. I also didn't understand with Luis Enrique decision. It is an important match and they played against Arsenal away, he must choose the best players on the starting lineup. But Luis Enrique made everyone surprising, there are no familiar name on PSG attacking line. Even, Asensio and Škriniar didn't play in this match.

However, it was cool that PSG still could dominate the match. But they failed to score a single goal. They only focused on winning the ball possessions and made more shots attempts. They didn't try to play more effectively.

It was a convincing win by Dortmund against Celtic a win that I wasn’t expecting to be this commanding Because the how Dortmund have been shaky in Their league form and how commanding the Celtic club played in their first match. The Scottish side winning 5 goals to one again Slovan Bratislava was actually making me think they will give Dortmund a hard time but it is just like the champions league usually goes past results doesn’t mean anything in future games. My biggest surprise though in today’s games was the game between Brest and Salzburg, I was expecting a Salzburg win to be sincere, I thought they will put in a shift after gotten beating by Sparta Praha in their first match. Right now they need to dig themselves out to get even a playoff position and with the clubs faced so far I expect more top tier teams in their next matches which means they are definitely going to be causing upsets to even get a top 24 finish.

This was a game I saw to be more of between equals after AC Milan won their respective league matches which included the Milan derby I expected them to even get a win here but they lost narrowly which leaves them fighting for a place, I haven’t checked their fixtures but I expect them to have a better next few matches if they win then they can easily be in the top 8

Big clubs like Barcelona, Manchester City, Inter Milan win big against weak teams. In two big matches, Arsenal win against PSG and Leverkusen win against AC Milan. They are both hosts in these matches and win against two big competitors is very important results for them. Leverkusen show that they are ready to go far in Champions League by beating AC Milan in this match.

After the last surprising season, Leverkusen are no longer an underdog but they are able to play well and win against a big club, it's a plus for their adventure in Champions League, to complete the group phase with good standing.

Arsenal are continuing their improvement since the last season and in contrast, PSG again show that they are very unstable and unpredictable in Champions League.

It's caused by Arsenal's defense being insane. Genuinely insane. They are one of the world's best technical teams. Their defense prevents PSG from creating any clear chances in open play.

Their defenders, Gabriel and Saliba, were outstanding. They shut down every PSG attack. Timber, with his amazing performance in the first half, had a tackle that was so amazing. Merino, with his excellent debut, won most of the aerial duels. Also, i like how Calafiori plays; he just pops up everywhere.

I was sure that Dortmund would win against Celtic. But I was not prepared to see such great gameplay from Dortmund. Dortmund's players played very well from the start of the match. Dortmund scored their first goal from the penalty spot in the seventh minute of the match. However, Celtic equalized in just 2 minutes. But then we saw the complete dominance of Dortmund's players in this match. The Dortmund team went ahead with a big margin of 5-1 in the first half.

Celtic players try to score. But Dortmund's overall performance was very composed. Dortmund's defenders have played well. At the same time, each of Dortmund's attacks was sharp. Because of this, Celtic's defenders completely failed to counter Dortmund's attacks. In the last few matches we have seen good performances from AC Milan players. AC Milan's overall gameplay was very good especially against Inter Milan. And after a long time AC Milan team managed to defeat Inter Milan. So in this match of the Champions League, against Leverkusen, many considered AC Milan as the favorite. '

I wouldn't say Milan performed poorly against Leverkusen. I watched the match so there is no way to say that Milan's performance was poor. Leverkusen and Milan players both performed well in this match. We enjoyed an exciting match. Although we saw only one goal in the entire match. Leverkusen were lucky to get a narrow 1-0 win in the match.

Honestly, this is a match that is quite difficult to predict, both teams are elite clubs in their respective domestic leagues and also have equally strong performances lately, Milan does have more experience in the Champions League, of course they have a strong mentality but Leverkusen also cannot be underestimated, they managed to win in their first match so in their second match they don't want to lose points even if they get a draw and also bookies favor Leverkusen in this match with odds @ 1.64 while AC Milan's odds are @ 5.00. However, I avoid betting on them and prefer other clubs that have a more convincing chance of winning.

I think I do like your selections and for the fact that you played safe makes me wanna replicate your selections but am not sure I want to exceed my usual staking amount for a day as I have already had my own games booked already. I didn't have to avoid the Bayer Leverkusen vs AC Milan game as it very much of interest to me just like that of Arsenal vs PSG a both team score will surface in that game because the two teams are goals scoring teams. And whoever is going to win in that Leverkusen : Milan game is gonna do it with a late minute goal because that's what the two teams share in common in their respective league wins this season. Recall that Leverkusen got that late 90+3 minutes goal against Wolfsburg, while AC Milan did same against Inter at the 89th minutes from Gabbia. It's definitely gonna be an interesting game.

Yes, this really makes me very annoyed when I have to experience a defeat caused by 1 match that makes me fail to win the bet, why is this really not according to expectations ;( even though I am very sure about the betting option which I think is quite safe but what can we do in the many choices we do have to accept surprises things like this.
Leverkusen-AC Milan was won by Leverkusen with a narrow score of 1:0, it is very unfortunate that both teams did not score as you expected, just like Arsenal vs PSG which I thought they would score but unfortunately PSG could not reply to Arsenal's attack at all.

Between these two teams I think is Arsenal that came to play and get a win because PSG never showed any sign of seriousnes. PSG was completely poor and what they normally display in the Ligue 1 we never get to see it and it seems the absence of Dembele affected the team, the force wasn't there at all. Arsenal dominated the game right from the first half to the end, something I never expected to happen because I thought PSG was going to make this game a very competitive game they were too sluggish. At least we saw the Gunners playing like they're in the champions league to compete and not to complete the other teams that are playing the champions league, first win for the Gunners and this is a positive step for Arteta and his boys.

PSG's rhythm control is actually quite good where they control the game, it's just that they don't look special because a lot of opportunities are wasted just because of poor finishing.

Arsenal appeared quite objective in this match because they knew when they tried to make an open game and keep up with PSG's rhythm it would be difficult, especially with the speed of the 2 wings where Doue and Barcola did have above average speed.  But Arsenal know that they can counterattack quite well because they realize that PSG's offense will make their defense empty. PSG's mistake was also to leave the Arsenal players unguarded in the penalty area which actually made them lose this match. The 2-0 scoreline wasn't really predictable to me but I think it's a good thing for a big Champions League game.

Why did you choose to take the risk on BTTS in the Arsenal vs PSG match?
It is very clear that PSG is currently being built by its coach (Enrique) without relying on any players, and Mbappe is no longer at PSG.
On one hand, you should compare that Arsenal at the beginning of the season like this has a stronger performance. Meanwhile, PSG maintains its strongest performance in the domestic league.
So you should choose to bet on the over or under that makes your bet win.

Saka continued to do what did best, and Kai Havertz scored again.
Havertz has scored in every Arsenal home game in all competitions so far this season.
And I loved Martinelli's work rate, he did a good job tracking the ball back and helping with the defense.
Overall, it was a satisfactory win, the game plan was executed well.

Haha I also experienced the same thing where Arsenal vs PSG became match that destroyed the bet, I saw how Arsenal with the problem of some of their players who were injured and took Double Chance as betting option but in reality Arsenal win.
Arsenal could play very well and get 2 goal lead in the first half, but I saw PSG being much more able to dominate the game and I hope they can turn things around by getting draw or even beating Arsenal, but Arsenal defensive game was quite good and every PSG attack could be suppressed and David Raya made some very good saves.
This defeat is indeed quite disappointing but I will bet again on the remaining matches later.
