Against Monaco, Barcelona really disappointed Barcelona fans because Barcelona lost with a score of 2-1 and Barcelona continued to compete against Osasuna in Laliga which ended in defeat for Barcelona with a score of 4-2.

Seeing how these matches goes against Monaco & Osasuna, I guess we can say Barcelona are still trying to get back to their best yet like before, there's still consistency issues while also they may face challenges winning against a team after being with a player out by red card in the early kick-off between Monaco,  while the surffling against Osasuna shows the back up players still need to do more, we can see how the team did against Young Boys, though Ter Stegen  is out.

Barcelona did well coming out from their disappointing match against Osasuna, Lewandowski and Raphinha has been really instrumental for the team success this season, is good to see Lewandowski back again better especially after last season was really not good for him and the whole attack generally in some sense they're not as wasteful as last season good job for them. While it wasn't really a good night for L. Yamal, but I think this is just football and I hope he won't bother much about it, though I was actually surprised not to see him get an assist or a goal in the number of goals they scored but it's still all good. In some night the game won't go as planned.

Currently leading the standings in the Champions League is Borussia Dortmund.They have played two matches so far with two impressive wins, and they have scored 10 goals. They are at the top of the points table after a 7-1 win over Celtic, although Dortmund's attack was much stronger. I think the Champions League will be more likely to win the Champions League than the Bundesliga this season, especially with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Leverkusen attacking the Champions League with a lot of excitement in every match.

I think it's too early to say that and even though Dortmund have won big in the two matches they've played, they're still not favored to win the Champion League title this season.
Dortmund's two big wins I think are reasonable because they haven't found a strong opponent, and we also have to look at the overall strength of the team and I think what Dortmund has achieved so far doesn't need to be exaggerated, they've only won 2 matches so it's very unfair if that's used as a reference that Dortmund can win the Champion League title.

If there had been a goal instead of a post, the match could have even ended in a draw. To be honest, Arsenal deserved to win the match. Because Arsenal played with more passion and quality than Paris Saint-Germain. Of course, Dembele is a player whose absence can be felt. This weakened their attacking area.

Even if a manager has a misunderstanding with a player before an important match, they must resolve the issue on one side, the player and manager are expected to have a good relationship every time. Luis Enrique chose to drop Dembele from the squad due to the issue. Arsenal is a great team with the world best defense, they looked quite comfortable in the first half because they did not have an attacking player that could disturb them. I expect both teams to score, but after knowing that Dembele was not in the lineup to play against Arsenal, I doubt PSG will score or win the match.

However, if I am not mistaken, Luis Enrique did the same thing to Mbappe last season after stating that he is leaving the club, he was not given more chances to play and was benched in some Champions League games.

I think this is the biggest scoreline I've ever seen from Dortmund in recent years.. geez! They literally dismantled Celtic, bulldozed them, blindsided and equally spelt out the letters for the visitors CELTIC.. what a way to lay claim to your territory than this and I hope it won't be the end to their fine performance when they meet other opponents.

That's the highest result that I have seen with Dortmund as well, they can score 3 to 4 goals in a game, but that was a massive number of goals against a team that other teams in their respective league respect, I did not expect Dortmund to do so well against Celtic, who became the Champions League second highest scorer in the last two weeks.

I have an opinion about the Champions League. What I noticed about the matches played in two days is that if the matches are high-scoring on Tuesday, the matches are low-scoring on Wednesday.
If there are few goals on Tuesday, there will be plenty of goals on Wednesday.
Yesterday was a night with partly goals.
If Dortmund had pushed a little harder, they would have equaled Bayern's first week record.
My favorite teams, the German teams, do not retreat after scoring 2-3 goals against the other side. He scores goals whenever he has the chance.

It makes sense because it's a fact that the scores are always higher at the start of the week. Maybe it's a coincidence but we'll see what other big games are on today and if there are fewer scores then there's some sort of correlation. it's a bit of a stretch because we have Bayern Munich, ATM, Liverpool and Real Madrid matches, one of which is sure to score a lot of goals, especially Bayern Munich and Liverpool are very likely to have high chances.

It is quite interesting because we see it, but can only be assumed and cannot be used as a correct claim about this, the invoice we need to look at the team that plays, and we see from the whole whether every opportunity will be the same, the fact is impossible, this It could be coincidence, but if it runs long term, this is far crazier than the predictions of intelligent humans.

However PSG messed up really badly... I wasn't expecting to see this kind of a starting lineup first of all. I didn't even know Dembele had a fight with Luis Enrique and found himself out of squad right before. I wish I didn't take such risk like double chance on them.

Today I assume I would watch Aston Villa - Bayern Munich. It seems interesting. But I might pass for betting.

Borussia is now leading the table with six points and unlikely will be topped by any other team tomorrow as they now have +9 goal difference unless Bayern manages to win with more than 2 goals advantage against Aston Villa tomorrow, but I seriously doubt that.

Borussia were lucky to have played 2 games against weak teams. So it makes perfect sense that they are provisionally at the top and I doubt very much that at the end of all the games they will end up in that position. So I am not surprised by their current position.

Bayern is the bookies' favourite, but my money would go on Villa.

Many people continue to underestimate Bayern, but in this case the Bayern coach knows Aston Villa well and now in Bayern with a better squad than when he was in the Premier League, he will have a good result. Aston Villa was lucky to win in the first game of the European Champions League because they played against an extremely weak opponent. But Bayern is not weak, on the contrary, it is a very strong team. That is why in my opinion I see Bayern winning this game.


Lille - Real Madrid

Real Madrid has a good defense, although they have good players in attack, they can sometimes be very inefficient, but I see Real Madrid coming out of this game with a victory. I read that Mbappe traveled with the squad, so I believe he will be able to play. Lille's biggest problem is in defense, while Real Madrid's biggest problem is in attack. They don't have the same defense they had last season, but they can't be underestimated. I won't bet on this game either. Although Liverpool are the favorites and have very low odds, I don't rule out a draw.

The match of Leverkusen against Ac Milan was very tough because both teams are very strong and they didn't want to give up easily for each other to score, leverkusen first scored an opening goal and it was offside and then Victor Boniface scored another goal to give Leverkusen a lead in the game and that makes Leverkusen keep look strong and start playing a defensive game to make sure they secure the points. The PSG and Arsenal match was not that tough because as I expected the game to end like that, I was expecting Arsenal to defeat PSG and that is what happened if we look at the game yesterday we will notice that the absence of Dembele affected the team the coach also decide to start the match with young players when Asenso is also in the squad, but is the absent of Dembele that make arsenal to defeat PSG?

Aston Villa is playing against Bayern Munich today and that will be a tough match today because many teams are expecting a win from Bayern Munich but we should also remember that Aston Villa is playing at home while Bayern Munich is playing in Aston Villa field, although Bayern Munich is good than Aston villa I don't think Aston Villa will allow Bayern Munich to score goals like the way Bayern Munich did against some team's from the first of the league, I don't think Bayern Munich will lose but it will be very difficult for them to defeat Aston villa easily.

I was surprised that PSG couldn't score Arsenal after they conceded two goals before halftime when they were giving Arsenal a lot of pressure which led to them possessing the ball more but Arsenal got a clean sheet from them though Arsenal number 1 the goal keeper tried in making some good saves for his team to win without conceding any goal against PSG. I don't think the absence of Dembele affected PSG much even though he would have make a lot of positive impart in their gameplay. Where Arsenal killed PSG was the second goal they scored because for PSG to recover and score more goals is very difficult since they are also facing strong opponent and not a medioce team. Gianluigi Donnarumma made some huge mistakes that contributed to PSG losing to Arsenal because the goal keeper overlapped too much.

I don't know how well the Lille side are going to take this game from the visitors since Madrid is one of the biggest team in this champions league with the record they have when it comes to the champions league. I hope the host will do everything possible to hold Madrid to a draw or get all 3pt (that's if they can, anything is possible). Like you said the Lille side are weak in their defense but they can start making it strong in this game and again Madrid are weak in the attack like you also said but I'll have to disagree with you on that.
Real Madrid are weak in the attacking department when they have Mbappe on the side, his presence has no positive effect but when playing without him (Mbappe) the team play with so much energy and aggressiveness towards goal, I believe if Mbappe isn't playing or on the bench like he wasn't in the game against Atletico Madrid they'll perform better, on his case I think there are some games he's not suppose to play or shortlisted.

That yesterday's match missed Dembelea while lot, it was like the PSG players were lacking the attacking force tho make something meaningful from the match yesterday. They clearly dominated the game, but it's not about possession, but who wins the match. Arsenal played business football and took away the three points.

Dembele would've given the attacking force a kind of craftiness and troubled the arsenal defense a bit, although he might have wasted a lot of it, but there would've been more chances and some would've possibly converted.

I still feel Arsenal enjoyed a lot of favoring from the referee. The arsenal defender had the ball to his hand in the final minutes and the referee pretended he didn't see it.

Yeah, Dortmund is topping the table. I hope they won't be overconfident. They haven't faced the real test. their test will come soon, once they meet Real Madrid. It's gonna be a real test to measure how good their performance is when they face a top-tier team such as Madrid.

I really appreciate Dortmund's performance in the last game. They won with big scores. However, their opponents, Celtic and Brugge, were second-tier teams. And i realized they still have a problem. It remains unsolved. Their defense is shaky when their defenders got blitzed.

Dortmund should settle it before they face a very strong opponent soon.

Dembele had a great start and has already scored 4 goals and given 3 assists and Dembele already has more goals than he had last season, so his suspension looks like a weakening of the team and Arsenal couldn't help but take advantage of that.
Of course if the success of the team depends on a player like Dembele, then apparently the team is not doing well, because Dembele with all due respect is not Mbappe, Bellingham or even Vinicius, he is a good player, with quick feet but very average other characteristics.

Also Donnaruma helped a lot to Arsenal, cause Donnaruma decided to concede goals like young players do after the academy in their first matches, especially the offensive second goal which a goalkeeper like Donnaruma should have deflected.
Without their key player at the moment and with such goalkeeping errors, PSG were apparently doomed to defeat.

You called Arsenal lucky in that match? Come on, they did not only win PSG 2-0 but played so well. Their style of play in that match may not interest you much but that is how they play and they got the result. I was personally disappointed at PSG for not scoring even a single goal. Their performance in the French Lig 1 this season is outstanding which means they ought to score at least a goal even though they played away. Dembele, Fabian Ruiz and Bradley Barcola have been doing exceptionally well and I do not see any problem with their pattern of play. I just feel Arsenal deserve the win that they got.

Dortmund's attack looks better now, than it was in the final matches of the Champions League playoffs, so this game could be more interesting, but I doubt that despite what they were able to do with Celtic, I don't think they will be able to beat Real, these are teams of completely different levels. I also liked how Arsenal beat PSG yesterday, a very good game, I expected the match to be more equal, but Arteta beat Enrique, PSG's attack could not beat Arsenal's defense.

Before the match between Celtic and Borussia I didn't understand why Celtic had such a high odds of 5.6, because before that Celtic had 12 wins in a row(!), and Celtic's goal difference in the Scottish league was 20-0 and I couldn't understand why the odds were so high on Celtic's victory and I thought it was probably a gift of fate and bet on Celtic, but I didn't even expect such a nightmare. Schmeichel play at Celtic and he is a great goalkeeper and I think he has not had such defeats during his career even in Leicester.

The chances of both teams scoring goals in this match is about 90% but PSG still couldn't get a single goal in this match and I can't say it's because Arsenal's had a very strong defensive line up, the french club didnt even show much intensity in the first half, they allowed the home side dominate and made them look like a youth team thereby reducing their chances of finding themselves back into the game. In the case of Dembele, in as much as we cannot dispute the fact that he is a good player who has some level of exposure yet I think he has to work a little on his character so as to maximise his chances of becoming of the best players because he has the potentials of achieving all these but hasn't been able to achieve such feat even after winning the world cup with France and several other laurels, he also has to respect the coach and acknowledge that the coach is the principal factor in the team.
