It's so crazy to see that Lillie is leading Real Madrid with one goal. What do you guys think about this match? Because if Real Madrid keeps missing these opportunities they are having right now. But sitting at the front of my television and viewing the match, I am rather seeing the opposite of my expectation. I am just happy that Aston Villa could give such a fight. It's about 40 minutes into the first half and still goal less. Even if Bayern Munich might later win the match I am very confident that the score line will not be what we used to see in German Bundesliga. Aston villa is just equal to the task.

By now you should have known that Aston Villa should not be joked with. I have watched their games and I have seen what they are capable of doing. I dont expect Bayer to think they are playing weak teams. If care is not taken in this match, we may end up seeing Aston Villa to be victorious. Atalanta performed quite well even after successfully holding Arsenal's draw before now they are able to win with Shakhtar Donetsk as an away match.
I saw several times the attack from Shakhtar Donetsk was not so profitable because it could not become a goal, while the attack from Atalanta was so easy to become a goal, I think Shakhtar Donetsk's defense was quite weak.

I didn't watch Girona's game but some of Peyenoord's goals were Girona's own goals? That's how weak Girona are at the moment, are they unlucky? It looks like a close match.

The match was a really ironic one for Girona especially after conceding two own goals, I thought they will be able to bounce back against Feyenoord or at least get a draw but sadly conceded another own goal though the only positive here is that Van De Beek got in the scoresheet after scoring last in 2022. Lille versus Madrid is one of the matches I've been waiting for and finally after a long time I saw Lunin start again in this match after Courtois was previously unavailable. I'm happy with Ancelotti's decision to reshuffle the players and of course with the new scheme used in this match.

Atletico Madrid were badly beaten by Benfica, Juventus had to fight with 10 players but they were able to win the match very peacefully, 2 goals from Dusan Vlahovic were very meaningful. With this score tonight I now believe that real Madrid are in crisis. What on earth is real Madrid doing? How can Madrid lose to a club like Lille in champions League. It's. 90+ already and the score line has not changed both in Real Madrid and Bayern Munich match, personally I am waiting for the final whistle before praising the Aston Villa and Lille coach because they did q very good defensive work to protect their only goal in this matches given the big teams the shocking defeat that no one ever saw coming.

It's takes a better side to keep a clean sheet so I see no reasons for anyone to have alleged that PSG were unlucky thereby making arsenal seem unworthy of a well deserved win after such a wonderful showdown in London. The fact that the visiting side couldn't find the back of the net is an evidence that Arsenal were not only aggressive upfront but their defence were also top notch and were able to contain the PSG attacking line up just as they were able to stop Manchester City a couple of weeks ago in the premiership.

Arsenal's victory was a well-deserved victory. Because they played very effectively and didn't waste many of the opportunities they got. But if someone says PSG wasn't lucky enough in that match then I will also understand that. Because PSG's several shot attempts were always unlucky because several times they only hit the crossbar. But in terms of attack quality, I think Arsenal is much better. They were so calm when they penetrated the PSG defense. And besides that, PSG's defense doesn't seem to be as good as Arsenal's. So Arsenal's victory was indeed deserved in this match. And I think Arsenal will continue to go further this time.

Who could believe that Aston Villa will win Bayern Munich in there UEFA Champions league match, when it comes to experience and quality players Bayern Munich has more quality and experience players than Aston Villa but couldn't stop Aston Villa from Winning Bayern Munich. With the tactical play display by Aston Villa tonight at the Villa Park if they could continue with it they can't easily be won in there domestic league and also in the UEFA Champions league if look at the stastic of the match you will see that Bayern Munich won in all round both in ball possession and goal attempt wereas Bayern Munich are favorite to win tonight but it end to be a disappointment, the celebration at the Villa Park by the home fans is worth to be seen again.

In the end my words came true even though in the end there was a significant change in the quality of Madrid's attack with the inclusion of some of their star players but when LOSC had made a stronghold in the defensive scheme it was a little difficult and the final result Madrid had to admit that LOSC got 3 points and they had to lose their away match in week two.

It's a bit unfortunate when in fact this is one way to smooth their plans to qualify directly from the league phase especially when the opponent is below them in terms of level but Madrid's performance is not very good especially for the first half.

Ancelotti tried more schemes in this match even though if they were forced with 3 strikers as usual from the start or adapted 4-3-1-2 like last season where Jude was placed under the striker then maybe the results could have been different but they still tried 4-4-2 just like they did in the previous week in La Liga.

I was carried away while watching the game. It was a fantastic match to watch. The actions were thrilling and I was impressed with the goal scored by J Durran. Just a three-way tough and it's in the net. From Martinez to the defender and then to Jurran, without any delay, he quickly and accurately smashed the ball into the net. In the end I lost the bet to the club I idolized It hurt a bit especially since my choice of a crazy bet on Benfica ended up with a win in the multi used which made me feel a bit tight.

But these things happen and Madrid did everything they could in this match, they just weren't lucky enough as Ancelotti was a bit late with some of his players which resulted in points being lost.

The next match will make them have to work a little harder because with this defeat indirectly if they really want to get a decent position in the league phase then the matches against Dortmund, Liverpool and Atalanta must go well and they must not miss again in other matches in the Champions League.

It was also hard to predict that Atletico would concede 4 goals (and score zero), right? Against any opponent, and especially against Benfica. Yesterday I made a multi-bet on Arsenal and Bayer to lose... it's a pity that I didn't think of making an even more daring bet today on Bayern and Real to lose, the total odds were probably close to 80  
But overall, yes, this is all a new format. Real did not play seriously for about 80 minutes today, there are still many such circus games ahead. Apparently, in the group stage, it is worth betting (if it is worth betting at all) only on the outsiders.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid defeats were major surprises, I think Atletico Madrid 4-0 defeat to Benfica was no less surprising. Juventus managed to make a comeback after being behind, as did AS Monaco who managed to avoid defeat after getting a penalty at the end of the match. Liverpool and Club Brugge were the teams that managed to win comfortably today, I agree that this new format is quite difficult to predict. Dortmund, Brest, Benfica, Leverkusen, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Juventus are the 7 teams that managed to win two consecutive matches. It seems that the next match will be even more difficult to predict.
