Well done for both Martinez and Chevalier, they saved so many attack during high pressure.

I like the way Aston Villa won the match because they proving if the one deserve to win, they will win at the end. They prove it because the first goal was offside, however they keep trying till they can score a goal.

The current standings is full of underdog.

This results really shock a lot of people I couldn't believe what happened yesterday would have happened because all the teams I supported failed me. Among the matches Aston Villa and Lille surprise me a lot especially lille, I couldn't believe they can win against Real Madrid, but still I believe they just luck to win, I have to accept the fact that this is football sometimes surprise things happen which this is part of it.

I was as shocked as you are because is only few of the matches that played the way they were supposed to play, such as Liverpool, Atalanta and Juventus then the rest was never expected especially Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, who would have imagine that Bayern Munich that use to be very aggressive in scoring will not have the opportunity to at least have one goal on that match, I'm sure Kompany will not be happy on his boys yesterday because he has a good strategy that should have worked perfectly but because the poor performance it was not productive.

Another surprising match was real Madrid against Lille they also played very poor of all the good strikers they could not equalize, actually the penalty was the luck of Lille if not they would have shared the three points among themselves, the whole match yesterday was as if it was a planned match because how can the two biggest clubs will lose the same day to a club who are always afraid of them, however I wonder if anybody had any wining yesterday on there bet because those results will certainly affect most gamblers.

Aston Villa vs Bayern Munich.

This match was clearly far from our predictions, Bayern fell at Villa Park to Aston Villa. Although they lost narrowly, Bayern should have been able to handle Aston Villa even though it was an away game. In this match, Bayern Munich was superior in ball possession throughout the match, unfortunately Munich was unable to convert every opportunity they had. IMO, I don't know what Kompany was thinking, but my question is why he rotated and benched Jamal Musiala. The three players behind Harry Kane did not play as they should, Kompany should not have changed the line-up of his players in last night's match. Although Kompany quickly replaced his players in the second half, unfortunately it did not change any results, instead Aston Villa was able to score one goal which also became their victory.

Benfica vs Atl. Madrid.

I did not expect Diego Simeone's team to be humiliated by losing badly to the home team, Atletico was not even able to score a single goal to reduce the score. This match clearly deviated from my predictions. I think Atletico will win narrowly. but Bruno Lage's squad was able to defeat Atletico, even though they were not favored. well, these two matches clearly did not meet my expectations.

Last night strong teams were humiliated, we saw Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and even Atlético Madrid. These strong teams have lost in the Champions League with the opposition which is really humiliating for the teams, moreover most people lost their bets most people bet on these strong teams. Real Madrid were under a lot of disappointment, and Bayern Munich also put in a disappointing performance. Bayern Munich's loss against Stony Billah is not really worth it, as Bayern Munich scored nine goals, the highest in Champions League history, in the first match, where the team lost. I think these teams try hard enough they can cope with the opposition rather it was a disappointing performance.

Other teams were strong as well just that you would say the Big name or favorite side to most gamblers lost their match yesterday. I won't say Aston Villa is a small team these days unless you dont watch the EPL. Those guys are performing brilliantly in the EPL. I know it's gonna be easy for Bayern Munich. So if Bayern knew they are the biggest team here then they would have won their match. Both teams played very well but only one has to be the winner.

As for Atletico and Madrid they messed big times. Just like what i said during the period Mbapae was signed. I made it clear that nothing would change at all. In fact it's not a guarantee that Real Madrid will be unstoppable this season.

What is really happening to these teams who we thought can bring their best in the Champions league this season, Madrid have never been brilliant since this season, ATH that spent almost £400 (if I'm not mistaken) can't even get things together, losing 4nil against Benfica, Bayern Munich who have been one of the consistent clubs when you talk about clubs that don't miss out for years in the UCL, you mention them but they (Bayern Munich) could not get their second win in the champions league, losing 1nil to Aston Villa was a shocker and nobody expected that to happen.
This very season's champions league is fun I must say and if care if not taken some of these big teams won't make it to the next round. What's happening to those teams mentioned? What's your take on what happened in the champions league games on Tuesday and Wednesday, who's going to get hold of the trophy this season?

Some incredible results tonight, certainly unpredictable for me. I did not see a possibility that both Bayern and Real would lose, this new format is crazy.

Relatively comfortable win for my boys Liverpool but we gave Bologna a few chances, must improve but I will take the win.

Sometimes football is unpredictable incredible results last night indeed I never thought both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid would loss they couldn't even draw really crazy my prediction yesterday never work out as we saw Atletico Madrid also lost against Benfica conceded 4 goals without scoring a single goal against Benfica I believe yesterday results will be unfavorable to gamblers as it was only Liverpool that was able to deliver that yesterday.
The most shocking result that yesterday was Aston Villa vs Bayern Munich game I believe winning Bayern Munich at the Villa Park will be Aston Villa biggest win this season I know Bayern Munich never saw it coming, Bayern Munich might have underrated the Aston Villa team thinking it will be an easy win for them but at the end reverse was that case Aston Villa has made me believe that as long as the game of football is concerned there is nothing like small club because any team win as long as the game if soccer is concerned.

These 2 results are absolutely unpredictable and surprising, I believe many people lose their money on these 2 matches but there must be some people who were lucky enough especially those who like to bet on underdog teams.
Aston Villa's goal keeper did his best last night by making some good saves and deserves to be man of the match.
On the contrary, Munich seems to be messed up when Villa did counter attack and the goal by Duran was a mistake by Neuer who were out of position.
Come to the Benfica vs Alt Madrid match, I did not watch the match but I'm shocked to see the result which is unbelieveable.
I thought it would be a balanced and tough match but 4-0 is beyond my expectation.

Liverpool have been performing in one of the best ways this season, as Mohamed Salah has made his team quite experienced. And his technique and style of play is different, he worked hard in this match and scored a goal in the last minute to succeed Mohamed Salah.

 The players of the Bologna team worked hard but the squad was made up of very weak players in their attack department, due to which they could not succeed in this match with 12 attacks but the opposite team Liverpool managed to succeed with only 9 attacks and managed to score two goals. Good luck to the Liverpool team as they have collected three points in this match and are at number five in the points table, and they are the most advanced in the points table due to the high number of goals.

Even though Liverpool have changed coaches this season, we don't feel any significant difference in Liverpool's performance at all. They are still the same strong team as when coached by Kloop. I am truly amazed by what Arne Slot is doing at Liverpool. He managed to maintain the good performance that Kloop had built in the Liverpool squad. And Arne Slot even made Liverpool even better. And with two consecutive wins in the UCL, I think this season Liverpool will be one of the strong challengers who will go far in the UCL. I hope to see Liverpool reach the higher stages.

In the match against Bologna, Liverpool actually wasn't that striking. Because actually Bologna also played just as well. It's just that the difference is in the quality of players the two teams have. Liverpool's attack line and defense line are much more reliable than Bologna. Mohamed Salah is still productive and even looks better at the moment. And in the next match in the UCL, I think Liverpool will still be able to win.

The defeat of Real and Bayern were definitely big surprises, but I think they will go to the playoffs in any case, just because of the losses the question will be in which stage they will go to, 1/16 or 1/8 finals. Maybe Real had quite a few matches where they had difficult games, but I did not notice this for Bayern, they were in great shape, but could not score and because of a very big mistake by Neuer they missed an annoying goal. But if these matches ended 1-0, which can be considered an accident, then how to perceive the 4-0 defeat for Atletico, it is too strange.

To be honest, if someone told me that Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich would lose in yesterday's champion league game I wouldn't believe because these teams are some of the best teams in Europe's top five leagues, these teams are strong and fully of best players in the world and they got trash by the small team's that we didn't know that they can defeat them, I notice Real Madrid game from the beginning when I saw the player's that are going to start the match and I started having a feeling that it will be very difficult for real Madrid because, Rodrygo, Mbappe and any player that can create chances are not in the field, Ancelotti is the one that causes the lose of Real Madrid yesterday and he knows it that is why he apologizes when the match end.

I didn't watch Girona's game but some of Peyenoord's goals were Girona's own goals? That's how weak Girona are at the moment, are they unlucky? It looks like a close match.

The match was a really ironic one for Girona especially after conceding two own goals, I thought they will be able to bounce back against Feyenoord or at least get a draw but sadly conceded another own goal though the only positive here is that Van De Beek got in the scoresheet after scoring last in 2022. I hope they can do better this season they're so far from their last season performance.

It was the most curious match of this stage of the Champions League and to be honest, considering how many mistakes the teams made, we can say that it was not a game of the Champions League level, but rather resembled the games in the conference league, because the level of play of the teams was very low.
In fact, all three goals conceded by Girona were the fault of Girona's players and it was especially frustrating to concede goals in the very end, especially considering that they were the winning goals for Feyenord.
Girona have 0 points in 2 games so far, plus Tsigankov is injured, which means there are even fewer options to put in the attack. To be honest Real Madrid were a mess from the line-up to playing Endrick as a starting player, their target of stealing 3 point failed miserably. Communication between players and passing was very unclear. Conceding at the end of the first half made things even more chaotic. The usually solid Carvajal didn't stand out, Bellingham and Vini under performed and even Camavinga who had just recovered from injury, played a long game. I thought Lille home side looked disciplined, the goalkeeper saved them from conceding many times. Ancelotti must evaluate his game immediately because with the new format all the bad possibilities can come early.

Because usually Atletico Madrid always manages to make their opponents difficult. But I don't know what is going on there. Atletico Madrid really didn't play like they usually do. Meanwhile, Benfica seems to want to go far like in the 2023 season. Because the last time Benfica went far in the UCL was in the 2023 season.

But no one would have guessed that Bayern would lose to Aston Villa. And what is unique about Aston Villa and Benfica is that they both won two matches in a row in the UCL this time.

I can agree with this part because the same layers that were playing when Klopp was managing Liverpool are probably the same player who is actively performing so well this season and bringing the team to this height. I don't want to completely give credit to Arne Slot on the team performance yesterday. The level of confidence Klopp built in the player before he left is what Arne Slot is enjoying freely today. I want to see something else; I want Liverpool to win the league then I can give credit to Arne Slot that it was his expertise that made them win. Without so I still respect what Klopp did to Liverpool and won't forget that.

Brazil has lost only one match, so at least we can't say that Real Madrid is a weak team or their defense is weak with the performance in this one match. 

Real Madrid is always the best in defense midfield and attacking line, maybe some matches don't perform as planned and some mistakes are made by the players like that mistake happened in the last match of Champions League. But I'm surprised not to see Mbappe or Rodrygo in the starting XI. Mbappe, Vinicius Junior Jr. and Rodrygo if these three players were in the starting eleven, then you think how strong the attacking line-up of Real Madrid would be. Why the Real Madrid manager did not keep Mbappe and Rodrygo in the starting eleven is a big question. Don't rely on Endrick too much right now, he should be developed well as this player looks like he might be playing for a local club, so this player must be smart.

Madrid was indeed more favored in the match, but Lille played very well. Madrid did not press Lille's game completely. and that resulted in Lille's game also being able to develop. even Lille was quite confident in playing the ball in their own defense when getting pressure from Madrid players.

It was surprising that Madrid could not chase the 1 goal after trying to play Mbappe, Modric, and also Arda Guler. I thought at least they would play with both of them to score. but that didn't happen. a pretty bad result for Madrid.

Barcelona against young boys bern was a super one for the Barcelona's.
In this match fans were excited how their Players Played the match I see this their new coach has changed the players in their velocity .

Barcelona as a team having young players like Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres in their front, Gavi, Pedri, Dani Olmo in their middle and Jules kounde in their defense with this their new coach Hansi Flick.

It was a kudos for the Barcelona's team ended the game on 5-0 against Young boys despites how good the Young boys team were in the game.

After that bad start by a Monaco loss, this was really needed. Barcelona were overwhelming their opponent on paper already and they showed it in action clearly too.    Hansi Flick era is just awesome!

Bayern who has never been beaten since Kompany took over a manager was defeated yesterday by an average English Club Aston Villa. It was a memorable day for Aston Villa as they were able to win Bayern who they have not being able to win in the past 46 years ago. I think the new Champions League format is kicking some clubs off their feet until they get adapted to it.

Dembele has already apologized to Enrique and settled the matter with the club's management. He will play in the next round of Ligue 1 (and apparently in the next round of the Champions League). I didn't go into the details of the conflict, but I can say that Enrique was consistent (he benched Messi for indiscipline), but Dembele's absence was very much felt. But there is no need to make a big problem out of this game - Arsenal is stronger than PSG on paper, so this is a normal result.

Oh I didn't know. It is good news then. Dembele is really crucial for PSG as you know. His goal contribution until this moment has been at high level.  

I see then. Luis Enrique must really be the main reason behind this benching decisions. He must be really adamant with his rules which is why he left Mbappe out of squad also.


It was a night with many surprises surely.    Emery has really become the nightmare of Bayern Munich. First he defeated them with Villarreal and repeated the same with Aston Villa now. I believe he is an underrated manager.

I also didn't understand the Endrick choice in Real Madrid starting eleven. I understand there is a busy calendar but it is still the Champions League. You shouldn't underestimate your competitor.
