It was injury that made Real Madrid performance terrible and I believe that in no time, they will improve and pick form. The only player that might join the team later is Calvaja because his injury is severe. I understand the concern when a top team looks very bad when losing form and team experience will just be ignored. But what I mean by experience here is when Madrid has problems with injured players, of course the coach and management will contribute fully to the upcoming transfer market. It is not easy for such change to happen and until the weak team improve in their performance, they can’t perform a miracle to get better than the teams they’re playing against now. The champions league is the game of champions and I don’t see it that most of the teams that are doing well now will fumble and begin to perform lesser than they are now when the my reach the knockout stage which happens to be when the league becomes more tougher and requires them to put more energy in the game. The round of 16 is going to be tougher than this season and I see all teams qualifying for that stage going to play better and try to qualify for the quarterfinals again. Actually Real Madrid have significantly improved lately and Kylian Mbappe also has improved in his performance and I hope this improvement will translate into something nice as regards their poor champions league campaign this season, the Spanish giants have had their fair share of injuries worries and what seems to be some sort of crisis that have rocked some elite clubs in Europe this season, but they have managed to navigate their way out and right now they are very much better than when they began the campaign.
