Better 24 hours for crypto with the market reacting to the US/Iran war possibly coming to an end later this week and Bitcoin is back at $67k almost.

I wont believe the war is over till it is signed on Friday as a lot can happen between now and then.

I bought a few altcoins at the bottom last week , mainly im just waiting for the market to rebound and start heading up again but who knows if that will be soon or later this year.

My portfolio fell below minus 50% for the first time last week, it is currently -45%.

My Altcoin portfolio pumped 200% in 5 weeks in 2024, it will do that again.

Being down with Altcoins is normal in a bear market, but when the good times return they will pump a lot faster than Bitcoin will.

Altcoins can spend months even years going down, but it only takes a few weeks to then undo all of the time spent going down when the good times return.
Altcoins are one of the easiest ways to make huge profits, but they are also one of the easiest ways to lose money in the crypto industry. One altcoin has given me more than 10x my investment before, and at the same time, I have also suffered serious losses from altcoin investments. So, I feel that altcoins that generate very high profits hardly survive in the crypto market for a long time. What I am trying to say is that some altcoins may perform very well during a bull run, but during a bear market, they can dump heavily and may never recover again.

I have invested in some altcoins before. There was one altcoin I bought when it was $10, and I decided to hold it for the long term. It eventually pumped to $60 during altcoin season, but the last time I checked, its price had fallen to just $0.50.Therefore, it is mostly luck that determines whether a project that brings huge profits during its short period of success can survive for a long time. For someone to enjoy altcoin investing, it is often better to hold for the short term rather than the long term.
