Better 24 hours for crypto with the market reacting to the US/Iran war possibly coming to an end later this week and Bitcoin is back at $67k almost.

I wont believe the war is over till it is signed on Friday as a lot can happen between now and then.

I bought a few altcoins at the bottom last week , mainly im just waiting for the market to rebound and start heading up again but who knows if that will be soon or later this year.

My portfolio fell below minus 50% for the first time last week, it is currently -45%.

Yeah lets see, i have a number of altcoins i believe will be around at least few more years so will see another bull run and should do well.

But i also hold a few that are risky, low market cap and not sure if they will survive.

The main thing is being diverse, i am not too heavy into any altcoin, as long as the safer altcoins perform well next few years then i feel i will be fine.

There have been many examples in the market where a particular altcoin was pumped many times over. Even during the current bear market, some altcoins exhibited high volatility and were pumped by a x100 or more. Could an ordinary trader have profited from this? Of course, but I wouldn’t say that alts are the easiest way to make huge profits, since whales and market manipulators are always one step ahead.

I am currently buying some but not much, waiting for the bear market low next few months to buy most at cheap prices as it feels too soon to have bottomed yet.

It would seem that more than 8 months have passed since the bear market began, and the bears should have lost some of their momentum by now, but that’s not the case. They remain quite strong, and there is still a possibility that the BTC price could drop significantly below current levels. The bottom is clearly not at current levels, and there is no guarantee that it will be in the $50-60k range.

Yes , it is possible we go below $50k at some point over the next few months but if we do it will be great buying opportunity as Bitcoin will likely hit $200k in a few years.

Just be patience mate. I think Bitcoin will go to even lower than this time. It's most probably 44k - 52k range is my target. So we will have another discount to buy at the bottom.

Bitcoin is bring driven down by Saylor. So there is a possibility for Saylor to sell his BTC to raise cash to pay the dividend. Once it's happening, bitcoin is likely going down even further.

I only hope alts will follow it as well. So i can get massive discount to buy bluechip at bottom with the purpose to hold it for several years.

Yeah exactly. I've just had a notification pop up on my phone saying Bitcoin has just fell below $59k for first time in 2 years.

Id be very surprised if its not below $50k by end of July. When it does go below $50k, there will be nice discounts for top quality alts.

Altcoins crash is not a time for us to be in planet or feared about the market situation, instead we should build more confidence in what we have invested and hold the more, because such is rendering an opportunity for others to as well join in making investment on the crypto market before the bull begins, you won't be in fear when you invested on a coin that has utility to perform better whenever there is a downtrend in market price.

I have been in this space a few years now. I have seen altcoins 10x, 20x even 50x from the bear market bottom and they will do again.

I saw my biggest gain at the end of 2024 where my portfolio went from break even to +200% in just 3 months. It will happen again in the next 18-24 months.

We are meant to buy low (as in now) and sell high, not panic at the bottom and don't buy.

We only have a few more months now till the expected cycle bottom, as soon as we bottom we will then have a few years of going up.

Don't panic, buy Bitcoin and top alts and they will see great returns next few years.

My portfolio is currently -49% , but that is normal at this stage of bear market, it may even go down to -70% in a few months at the bear market lows, but it will be at break even again by end of Q1 next year, and then well into the green again by end of next year.

Now is not the time to panic, its the time to buy.

My altcoin portfolio was +83% on the 9th June but is now +51% just 9 days later.

I am buying some dips but mainly just holding during these times and hoping we recover in the coming weeks.

When will this crash stop? and how is everyone feeling?

I have it in my mind we still have a few more months till alt season so I am just holding on for now.

Crashes are where the difference between conviction and speculation becomes visible.

Personally, I try not to measure a system only by short-term price movement. Altcoins can move violently in both directions, especially when sentiment changes fast.

For me, the main question is not “when does the crash stop?” but “which projects still make sense after the hype disappears?”

If the structure is weak, the dip is not an opportunity.
If the structure is strong, time usually reveals it.
