As for the under 4.5 rounds, still good odds at 1.66.
This is really risky, in my opinion, especially since Inoue's last KO didn't come early. But anything could happen, especially if Doheny is also looking to end the fight early. Inoue has shown some vulnerability, as he has been knocked down before, which might give Doheny some confidence, thinking his power could be enough to beat Inoue. As for Inoue, this could be his last fight in the current division, so he’ll want to finish his journey with an impressive win, preferably a KO. So, consider your bets carefully, and remember that nothing is guaranteed.

But I guess his opponent that time is Nery, and I would consider him a durable fighter as compare to TJ here. But yeah, anything can happen, Inoue is not known to be a fast starter specially when he started to fight top notch fighter and that's why under 4.5 rounds here is a bit risky as you have said.

Doheny has his own winning streak as well and he has been inside of Japan no there's no need for him to adjust on the weather as he is used to it and it can work it out for him to go to distance against Inoue here. However, I'm one of those that are not going to bet here, I will just see and enjoy the fight. And then wait for Inoue to announce that he will officially go up to Featherweight class.

I do agree that this could be risky, unless Inoue comes out smoking in the first couple of rounds and not give TJ any room to even try to make it a fight in the rounds 1 or 2. And we have notice that the first goal of his opponents is to try to survived the first rounds and see how it goes for them.

Of course, we want another knockout highlight for Inoue, but it could be made after 5 rounds as Doheny might try to put up a good defense first and again, just try to feel the power withstood the pressure on him. It doesn't matter if Doheny has a winner streak in Japan, he is facing the best fighter now, so it's a total different fight for him.

For most of the opponents of Naoya Inoue they tend to fight for survival and not fight to win so i think TJ Doheny will do the same but i also think that sooner or later, Inoue would catch on him and will knockout Doheny in the later rounds and their might be a chance that this could go the distance if Doheny will not engage early hehe.

No odds yet if the fight goes the distance in my favorite crypto bookies but i do believe that it would be huge as most of us including the bookies think that this fight would end vis knockout.

This is a reality we can't deny. Inoue is called "the Monster" for a reason, and he lives up to that name. If his opponent gets too aggressive, it often leads to an early KO win for Inoue. So, it's really up to his opponents whether they want to try to prolong the fight and risk getting caught later on or gamble and go for an early finish. Of course, upsets can happen, so we can't completely discount that possibility.

The current odds aren't interesting. We'll have to wait as the fight gets closer to see more markets. That way, we can choose from a wider range of options and find what we're looking for.

Here are the odds at Stake:

Again, doesn't look very attractive to us boxing bettors. However, it's really a good odds for Doheny to stay up to 12 rounds and last the distance against Inoue. If I'm not mistaken, Donaire during their first fight was one of the fighters that was able to stay full 12 rounds against the Monster.

But after that, all of his wins are by knockout. Risk is high but maybe someone is willing to take that bet for TJ Doheny.

Yes, he is very sharp and as if he didn't missed a beat from his last fight as he is ready to go against Doheny. But then again, this is the version of Inoue that we have seen since his knockout win against Donaire.

He looks very sharp in his every fight and engaging his opponents, although we see his first mistake in his career and has been knock down by Nery. But that was the closest that we have seen him literally putting his guard down. But I do not see him playing with Doheny as he doesn't want to go to the canvass again.

The date is all set for September 3, 2024. So, having some replacements or if this match won't proceed is no longer in choice.

There's no stopping now. That kind of preparation shows how he's well-conditioned. I hope that TRB shows more of these preparations from their fighters.

I guess that this match goes to Naoya Inoue again, he's undefeated although Doheny's record isn't bad as well having 4 losses but none of those were KOs.

And Inoue says that he didn't put that much on his training as he doesn't want to suffer another injury. Remember that in his last two fights, those scheduled has to move because he got injured in sparring for pushing himself too much in training.

So it's all set now, September 3 is very near, although I have to admit that I haven't bet yet.

But for sure when the date comes I might look for the range or exact round that Inoue might knockout Doheny.

Usually though when Inoue is not available on the original date due to injuries, his opponent will just have to wait, or even if his opponents is the one who got injured, Inoue also waited because he had trained already and doesn't want to choose replacement fighters.

But still though, as I have said, the odds is not that attractive and maybe some of us here will just skip the fight or will just bet considerate money, not to big, not to small and then watch and enjoy what TJ can bring in the table in this fight.

Well, he has to take care of himself as well and those injuries that he has contained before need to be considered with how he trains. But still, we can see that he's truly prepared for this upcoming match against TJ.

The fight is interesting for both of them but for bettors, we have to wait if there will be some changes favoring the odds to one and the other.

But then, we all just want to watch this upcoming match of them and gonna wait and see if Inoue will remain as the undefeated champ.

Don't wait for changes because there won't be any; the fight is obviously favoring Inoue as the heavy favorite. If something happens, like an injury, it wouldn't affect the odds since the fight would likely be canceled or postponed. Perhaps we can just wait for more markets, like Inoue winning in rounds 1-3 by KO. That would be a very interesting bet if the odds are attractive, and by attractive, I mean they should be over 3.00 for me.

But then, we all just want to watch this upcoming match of them and gonna wait and see if Inoue will remain as the undefeated champ.
What might be more interesting is if Inoue will finally decide to move up after this fight.

Possible.

That announcement could come just after the match if ever he wins this match. But then, everything is all speculation and that.

There's no confirmation yet as this is what Inoue told the reporter when interviewed.

Quote
"When I’m ready to go up the weights, and when my body is ready to do that," Inoue told ESPN.
source : https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/pound-for-pound-star-naoya-inoue-gives-update-on-move-up-to-featherweight/1gjo6b3y8b5r51ig6tnko5zq7w

However, it's quite unlikely that he'll stay in this division for long since he has already become an undisputed champion in two divisions, including the current one. It would be unwise to continue fighting boxers who can't match his skills. Moving up could be the best decision for his career as he continues to improve, but I understand that he doesn't want to rush things. One loss, if it happens, could have a significant impact on his future, as his value might slowly decline.

Inoue likes challenges and how many times did he do this already? not a lot and for sure on his weight now, there won't be that many challengers anymore that would like to go and spar with him.

And this is what we're anticipating for him to do next after this match. I agree that this is a wise decision for him to move up and just leave this current weigh division when he's done.

I think that he's got plans of being a pound for pound king and chase people's champ's title for that. I'd be happy to see that because I am sure that he can do it.

There are only a few days left until the fight, so I was curious to know how much each fighter gets paid for the fights. If the data I could see is true, then Inoue has been getting good amounts of money in each fight, for example, according to the website I read, it says that in the fight between Inoue and Donaire, a fight that Inoue won by decision, he got 1 million dollars and then in the rematch that he won again, he got 500,000$. against Moloney, a fight that he also won, he got 1.5 million dollars. The amount of money has only increased, because according to the website, in the fight against Fulto, a fight that Inoue won by knockout, he got 5 million American dollars and recently he beat Luis Nery by knockout and got 6 million dollars. I don't know to what extent this is true, but it's strange that they don't say how much money TJ Doheny makes in his fights.  Grin

I wonder how many rounds TJ Doheny will last and how much money Naoya Inoue will receive this time, since in this article:

https://www.sportskeeda.com/mma/news-naoya-inoue-vs-tj-doheny-purses-how-much-boxers-made-previous-fights-comparing-payouts

shows that in recent times the amount of money earned by Naoya Inoue has increased a lot in each fight and as this article says that Naoya Inoue in the last fight earned 6 million dollars, then I assume that in this fight he will earn more than 6 million dollars. Is there an official website with real data on how much money each fighter receives in each fight?

The fight is interesting for both of them but for bettors, we have to wait if there will be some changes favoring the odds to one and the other.

Definitely, Inoue is the heavy favourite on this one. So if you do really want to bet on this fight, look for other betting lines like if this will go the distance or not (which is if this will go the distance), or what round it will end up with? For now, Inoue has the upper hand as he has no loss up until now. Also, with the current record of 27-0-0 with 89% KO percentage, definitely, the cards are on his favour.

If by any chance, you believe, this will end up by decision, quite good to bet on with 9x odds.

Source : stake's odds

The odds for Inoue winning via decision is quite attractive, but I'm going to pass.

Instead, I'll go with the over 4.5 rounds bet at 1.92 odds, though I'm not very confident in that either. Knowing Inoue, the fight could end very early if his opponent tries to challenge him and test his power. Since we all know Doheny is the type of boxer who likes to go toe to toe, it's unlikely this fight will go to the judges' scorecards.

One option/market that is appealing to me is the "over 4.5 @1.95" as i think Doheny will try to survive the first few rounds of onslaught and also Inoue will be sizing up his opponent in the first three rounds so over 4.5 is the way to go at least for me.
