If im not wrong fM is gonna win this round thanks to his six team pick which was elche who allow 0 goals and in a twisterd turn take out the win from El che who was the only one who got a correct pick on Betis which score 5 goals in this round.

Yeah he sure did! Congrats fM, picking Elche as your 6th team was a great call. I was convinced Fiorentina would keep it tight at the back but after conceding 2 goals in the first 15 minutes I thought I was going to get completely blown out. Fortunately they managed to keep it capped at just 2. Betis really came through for me though especially after I skipped Chelsea, I needed that from Betis to save my round and keep me at the top. On to the next one!

And I was the really unlucky guy who picked Fiorentina also,,, this team was in Champions League not so long ago right? And then I think also Italian team and an old name sure 1 goal max, but we are both lucky they conceded early and then kept it 'clean'.

Crazy goals from La Liga honestly, something I could not expect. Another bad round for me and I am beginning to get why Madness is the name of this game

I agree about the randomness of the round, I even had to think a bit before making my picks. With the return of club football, the thrill is back, too - I’ve made a couple of risky picks, plus one that definitely won’t please buwaytress if it comes off 
I still can't get used to the fact that we don't have the usual teams like Atlético or Villarreal in the opening rounds, let alone Bayern.

I can only salute your daring, and rue my own misplaced belief in my team. Iraola was without some important personnel and he might take some small comfort that we were doing well until the sending off, but he should know better against Haaland and co.

Agree on Villareal and Atleti -- especially since the latter was a source of points last season but I have a feeling they might pull off some magic vs United (and my yet-to-be-placed bets are on them too!).

Well it seems like fM and elche are killing the competition in this start. Another fantastic round for them and starting to build a gap in front, lets see if we can follow them and also cut their wins in the next round.

It was a strange round in some things, for example Coventry was not a bad pick as six team allowing only one goal from Newcastle. Betis scoring 5 also was not in the books of anyone.

Italian football is evolving and seems like the era of low scoring is not longer with us in some way.

Well guys the time is put on fast so we dont have so much time to congratulate or talk about the past round(you can still do it) but i also ahve to post the new round since we are already on tuesday, i know most of us is gonna be looking the champions league and gonna make the picks at the very last days of the week, but just in case anyone wants to make it in advance here it is.

There’s a touch of bitterness, since that daring earned me just 10 points (thanks to leaky Fulham) and 10th place for the time being.
And in fact, I was not greedy enough where I should have been, instead of making a normal cash bet, I made a cautious one.

A simple bet on City with a -1 handicap would probably have offered better odds.
I agree about Atlético and United, unfortunately, that is the status quo right now. I don't think any miracles will be needed for a win, but I'm hoping for at least a draw. I remember in the first rounds I wrote that United was one and a half times stronger than Liverpool (based on the number of points), well now the situation has turned symmetrically

No, the new rules has been apllied  for the first time, Barcelona score 3+ goals in 3 consecutive games so they are gonna sit out for two rounds.

Monaco is the actual leader of Ligue1 so they are gonna have  chance here for two rounds. Lets see if anyone pick them.

Great bet man, some high odds for Freiburg i think they have real value there. But is a team i dont trust so much.
