If the casino is an old and already reupdated casino then it does not bother much because it's understandable that one or two case can go wrong but if the casino is fairly new and still working on building up a reputation then I may look into the details of the complain. In some cases I may ask any question that I will think is necessary to investigate the legitimacy of the complain. I will not just make my decision by looking at the complain.

I am not really bothered about the complaints if the gambling site is recommended on this forum by most of the gamblers. I have gambled on more than 5 of them before that I withdrew money.

But this is not just about me but about some people that does not take reputation as joke. They may research on the gambling site and be pissed off if they see many bad people complaining about the gambling site. There are some gambling sites that have announcement thread on this forum that I have not seen people complaining about them at all. Some people on this forum that knows about this may prefer to be gambling on such gambling site. If I am not a reputed member, I may prefer such a gambling site because there are some complaints that even we people on this forum can not know if it is the gambling site or the person that is wrong.

Yes it is supposed to be a thing of concern to a gambler when a casino is being reported in the reputation board because most casino companies are becoming very cunny now. Even if a gambler breached the terms and conditions of a casino most of them don't take action on the gamblers account except when the gambler have made some winnings, why should it be in that way? All the time the gambler was recording numerous losses the casino company don't think about any violations of their terms and conditions but immediately their is a win maybe a huge winning they begin to search for a loophole just so that they will abscond making payments for the winning. And there is something I find very odd with almost all casino company and that is, why don't they ask for KYC verification upon the opening of an account instead of it to be done when a gambler wants to make withdrawals? Because this area has also been of major concern about casino companies because some of them will start claiming that the gambler used fake KYC documents and all that so if KYC verification was to be done at account opening stage then it will be easier for people because anyone whose KYC details are not verified will know earlier that they can't make withdrawals.

Definitely reputation matters a lot when engaging any online Casino platform, So when dealing with any casino platform out there, and if you found yourself in a community such as this forum, firstly you have to watch out for what good or bad complaints that people are making about their experiences with that casinos platform out there which you are dealing with. Therefore, If I find out that such bad complaints leveled against the platform happened to be true, it undoubtedly gonna change my mind to continue or consider quitting doing business with the platform. Absolutely. A casino that doesn’t resolve issues especially cases with evidence is a red flag. You will never know that you might be the next victim of same situation while casino doesn’t entertain to resolve your issue.

It depends on the casino in question - if it’s about a casino I have been using for some times and then some accusations come flying in scam accusation board I might not pay much attention to it (but I’ll keep following it and see if it’s the casino’s fault or the fault of the player).

But if it’s about a casino that’s new to the forum then it definitely will affect my decision on whether I will use that site in the future or not, if it’s a new casino and it’s already receiving scam accusation thread then I won’t use it but if it’s a site that has stayed in the forum for years and have been known for their reputation then I won’t consider it.

Remember that not all accusations are valid, there are some that were caused because the punter was ignorant of the ToS of the casino while some were caused due to technical issues.

There is so much money behind Stake I doubt they’re scamming Internet forum users, but if a ton of things started popping up I would definitely take notice. Just one complain about the services offered by casino may not be enough to convince me not to gamble there because it is normal and regular with every service provider to have one customer who feels that their service is unsatisfactory and has a complaint about them. If the complains start becoming more regular and the number of people having various complaints about the same casino increases, I will start to question and want to be sure that this casino I am gambling on has not dropped their standard, and their reputation dwindling.

There are a lot of disingenuous posters in that area of the forum. Of course real problems can arise on a sportsbook or casino but you have to thoroughly read the context of each accusation and make up your own mind if there are genuine concerns about the platform or if the accuser is a liar.

I don’t know exact numbers but the majority of accusations against reputable platforms are false and the accuser is a liar or is breaking T&Cs of the site.

You nailed it! Most of those complaints have started from their own fault but, we can't invalidate the legitimate accusations with vast amounts but they're very few.

Nope.
I have my own experience and they've got their own. I won't be affected with those complaints if my personal experience isn't that bad at all. I gamble one casino at a time and that's with stake.com and I am very satisfied with my experience there. While our sympathy goes with the genuine complaints that are being posted here and there, but I'd stick to my own validation and as long as I've got no issues with them, I'll stay.

It's a case to case situation, if users are complaining of KYC related issues and I passed through with a breeze then it could either be the user is not following/meeting their requirements, or maybe user is using some fake documents as I have seen this happening several times as players have trust issues  and it's also not the casino's/bookies always at fault!

We also need to consider the duration the platform has been operating against complaints received, if the business is getting such accusations week in week out it could mean special attention is needed to understand what the casino/sports book is doing, and personally I would hold back from risking personal funds here.

Depends on some factors if you ask me, they are:
- Is the complaint/accusation legit with solid evidence?
- The case should be clear enough, at least I need to see information from both the player and the casino.
- How the casino rep give response to accusation is also important

Yes, it can influence my decision to trust my money in one online gambling site or not.
Here's the good part, the choices for picking an online gambling site are broader now and if we see some red signs that a casino cannot be trusted with our money then we can easily look for a new one.
This is why every gambling site must be careful with what they do and that includes fixing things when customers are trying to tell their side. Sure, there are some instances where a gambler is at fault but most of the time it's the gambling service, especially for new ones who have not perfected their system yet.
Examples are: after-maintenance errors, balance showing wrong, and updates that made more errors.

The funny thing when it comes to complaint is 99% of users are newbie instead of experienced users. If users who make complaint are experienced users, we don't have to raise our suspicions whether the complaint is valid or not. I would be only influenced if the scam accusation is regarding any new casino or casino that are not popular here on the forum. Anyone who is active on the forum (gambling section), knows which are reputable casinos and if anything negative is said about those casinos in the reputation board, then it won't change my decision to keep playing at that casino.

There are several considerations regarding this because if it is only a complaint for the site that I follow and play and the complaint can be resolved properly then maybe I will not worry too much about it and will continue to play on the site that I follow, but it is a different story if the complaints are quite a lot from several people and the case is the same, especially if there is no responsibility from the manager, then maybe I will consider looking for another site that can be trusted.

There are certain types of users who rely on finding bugs and loopholes to take advantage of, and when they're caught, of course, they blame the casino for not allowing them to withdraw. The truth is, we'll never know what exactly happened, while an accusation requires having the necessary evidence to back up their claims.

Also, if I read someone complaining who is a newbie here in the forum in the gambling section, it doesn't have a negative impact on me either. I often read reputable ones like stakes,
bcgames, duelbits, and others.
