It was a bad day for Turkish teams. Neither team played as we expected, unfortunately we could not win. They actually had stronger squads than their opponents, but they could not play as they should. It is very sad that Galatasaray could not get 3 points from such a team, especially when it has such a good squad. Sometimes player quality is not enough, it is very important for the team to play in harmony and score goals in such critical matches

It's now time Manchester United call it quite with Ten Hag. This is now becoming embarrassing, they keep flopping and losing matches. They have done all they can in terms of signing players, they are one of the biggest spenders this season but still nothing to show for it.

Winning by two goals and then flopping to losing the match is beyond absurd, as a neutral Manchester United has been destroyed by their coach.

The red Bruno Fernanes saw may or may not touched the other player, but there is a rule against making a dangerous play, and his feet being that high that close to someone's head, even if it did touch or not touched, is still a risky move and you get a yellow for that.

It has been a rule for decades, you don't have to hit someone to get the card, a dangerous play is a dangerous play and you get carded accordingly.

To be fair if it wasn't for Harry Maguire, we would be probably talking about something else completely, let Man United fans joke about Maguire as much as they want, that dude saved the entire team. Right now, the question changed from "who could be better than Erik Ten Hag" to "Who could be worse?" because honestly not that many people who are worse than him exists at this point. The club is in crises and will continue to underperform till when there's an improvement.

Since Manchester United decided to hold onto a draw against Porto, as their preferable result, let's see what will be their next preferable result when they meet Aston Villa at home. However, it is becoming clear by the day that Ten Hag sack is certain. There's no two ways about it, to see him escape being sacked before the end of the season. Wow, the match was really exciting, how could Man United who were already two goals ahead concede three goals, luckily Harry Maguire was able to score a goal in injury time, saving Man United from defeat. Regarding Bruno's red card, I think it's fair because it was clearly a violation and the referee didn't immediately issue a red card, only gave a yellow card, so because Bruno had previously received a yellow card, it's fair to get a red card. I don't agree if Bruno is benched because he is one of the key players in the Man United squad and he is also the team captain.

Thus, I think the problem might just be that the brand's performance might still be weak in the Europa League, so such a draw is also difficult to avoid. I expect Manchester United to win that match even though I actually believe Porto can comeback in the first half. Manchester United's draw was caused by their weak defense when they were leading 0-2 where Porto players really managed to exploit that weakness. Maguire came in to give a new color, he should have been available earlier instead of keeping him on the bench.

Matthijs de Ligt looked weak in that match and he and Martinez were completely overwhelmed in defense. Onana certainly helped in his way, he saved some of Porto's chances, but he couldn't always be a strong wall. Ten Hag was in charge, but he seemed relaxed in his own style.

Ten Hag and the players are not having it this time, I see no sign of improvement, moving from worst to worst on different leagues. Knocking Chelsea off from qualifying for the Europa league is of no importance because even with their last minute qualification they have been unable to put out a good performance.

Bruno can barely be trusted, two consecutive red cards, one from the Premier league on past sunday and another on thursday, his lucky enough that the appeal for him not to miss a few matches in the Premier league has been considered, i really wondered how they would have to face Aston Villa on sunday. Not just the coach on this, the players also need to better themselves, the coach isn't the one missing some good opportunities when having the ball decently placed for a proper finish.

You will be surprised, but Fernandes won the appeal so his red is overturned (in the Premier League) and he will play the next games, but I don’t think it will help United much. Aston Villa are serious opponents and United will be lucky to get at least a draw.
By the way, I was wrong - United has one win not in 8 games in European competitions, but in 10. And this is a win against Copenhagen.

I am not sure if the problem is only Okan Buruk but a significant part of it is Okan Buruk's. It is really a troublesome situation to concede two goals against a weak team in a match where they are leading 2-0, the players also have a role to play. Also, the absence of Osimhen and Muslera in the match was a big deficiency.

Günay is not a good goalkeeper, I wish Muslera was in this match and we could have made it two out of two. Osimhen will be out for a few weeks due to injury.

I don't get what people were expected from Manchester United, they have shown time and time after again how they are terrible and so far they did nothing good on the field all season long, so why expect them to win this time around?


I get they went ahead a bit more, but that doesn't mean we are going to end up with a good or better result, that is not going to happen and we are going to end up with a bad result until they change something about the team. It's clear they are not doing a good job for now, and it is also clear we are talking about a team that is very hard to recover even wit what they have and even if they make a change. This team has been mismanaged for so long that eventually we reached a point where I do not think they are going to fix anytime soon.

Galatasaray haven't been at their best in the last 2-4 games. Prior to yesterday's Europa league match, they won 3-1 against PAOK in their first UEL outing of the season and nearly drew the match. They only won thanks to the intervention of an Oshimen assist and an Icardi late strike to win the game. My point is that they won but they fought really hard to get those 3 points. In the turkey league last weekend, they fumbled a 3-0 lead and just yesterday in the UEL, the fumbled a 0-2 lead.

I have my fingers crossed that these defensive issues are just temporary and hopefully it gets resolved soon.

What happened in that match was nothing short of exciting for a Manchester united fan because having your team who were leading with two goals now battling to have the game in a draw after conceding three goals in a row is just a pure indication of how much the team's squad has dropped in quality and that includes the coach. Maguire scoring that stalemate goal for Manchester united doesn't make him any better because it was in that very defense that Porto found their three goals straightway. He was just at the right position at the right time, a coincidence. About Bruno, he's just not one with a leadership quality and many time his team has been found in difficult position he has never stood up to the captainship task so am not surprised about his action now which almost risk United losing all points.

Me too. I'm doubting Manchester United's chance to get into the round of 16. Even though there are so many matches left for them, they have never improved. They are still in the knockout-playoff zone. They got only 2 points from two matches. It's a disappointing result from a club that wasted almost half a billion to rebuild their team.

And I'm feeling they will fail at the knock-out playoff before they manage to qualify for the round of 16. Also, they're gonna face tougher opponents soon.

Not a bad result for MU, especially since they played at Porto home ground. However, what I regret most is that MU players did not try to maintain discipline when they were leading 0-2, Ten Hag also did not immediately instruct his players to play more pragmatically and effectively. MU should try to play a little more closed by strengthening the defense sector to maintain their advantage, this strategy is very realistic, especially since they are looking for a win after only being able to draw against Twente in the first match. First, we have to evaluate their transfer dealings and see how effective the signings have been since then. Manchester United’s transfer strategies are not the best and football these days has evolved past that already, now every club seeks for vibrant and strong players who will bring instant improvement and power to their squad while Manchester United still scout old veterans who are close to retirement to boost their squad, how possible is that? Jim Ratcliffe has said before that the problem of Manchester United is not the manager, but the environment. I don’t know what “environment” means in the context, it seems to me that United bosses do not want the blame to be on Ten Hag instead they would rather make a player a villain.
