Huge congrats to Galatasaray on that satisfying win! They really deserved it and for once I thought they were going to lose points.    Because you know they were wasting a lot of goal opportunities while dominating the game in general. PAOK punished them for once but couldn't do more which resulted in a 3-1 victory for the Turkish side.

By the way Galatasaray have a really great rotation in the attacking area. While Osimhen is subbed off, Icardi enters in his place.    And he scored a lovely goal right after it.

Too many people have talked about the attackers and how they've failed to convert chances but pay close attention to the image and you'll see how well they have improved from last season. I don't think Manchester United can win the Premier League Competition if they don't bring in replacement for Marcus Rashford already.

I don't think anyone who's been following the performances and results of Manchester United since the start of the season will ever be surprised with Manchester United's result against Twente last night. It's very disappointing for a team to possess the kind of quality players United parades and still struggle to play against Twente even when the game was played at home. Hopefully for Manchester United fans, the club management will one day realize that the club's biggest problem is their manager so they can take necessary actions but until then, Manchester United will continue to remain inconsistent.

But before that I also considered that Manchester United were very often or weak in maintaining excellence until the match was over. Manchester United seem to be making new records every year. FC Twente is themselves a good team and were the third placed team in Eredivisie last year, yet this is one of the lowest performance by Manchester United. If they continued their current performance, they'll make sure they won't even qualify for the Europa League next year. Not only were United left with a draw with a counter goal, the whole game was competitive.

Twente performed well in this match because the opponent they faced was Man United who were favored in last night's match, Man United really lacked in defense, what you said was the lack of a strong defense, there was a lot of homework that Ten Hag had to fix but there were no satisfactory results in every match played by the Red Devils, even though they had to share the results and points, it would certainly make it difficult for Man United in the next match, I also agree with you that this match was very disappointing for their supporters.

FC Twente deserved that 1 point because they have spirit and never stop moving. Even though they didn't have as many chances as Man United but, they showed that they had better effectiveness than Man United.

Galatasaray played well but had difficulty finding clear positions in the first half. Paok found the clearest position of the match at the end of the first half, but goalkeeper Günay did not allow a goal in this position.  In the second half, Osimhen headed the ball from the corner, the ball went around Baba Rahman's feet and he scored his own goal. This is kind of a lucky goal. After this goal, Galatasaray made counter attacks but could not convert them into goals.
Although Paok made the score 1-1 in the 67th minute, Galatasaray responded to this goal 8 minutes later with Yunus Akgün and made the score 2-1.

In a parenthesis, Icardi should be mentioned. The man is a true striker and his quality is unquestionable. The ball came to his feet once and he made the score 3-1 in extra time. He scored with a perfect in-foot shot. I guess he has family problems, if he didn't go through things like that, he would be a striker at a very different level. Of course, Osimhen's arrival also affected him positively.

I wasn't convinced by Galatasaray's first-half performance. But they looked much better in the second half.  This was caused by them making some great subs that gave them instant impact. Their defense looked solid very with Jakobs at left back. He was amazing in both defense and attack in this game.

Their midfield were improving with Sara. He helped their ball circulation. He made them look more structured.

I could not deny that the budget gap was the main difference between them and PAOK. It makes them superior to their opponent.

Manchester United 1-0 Twente  after first half

Today against Twente we saw Manchester United players perform well. Manchester United lead 1-0 at the end of the first half. However, in this match, Manchester United team is considered as the favorite. First of all Twente team is not in good form, besides it is Manchester United's home match.

Christian Eriksen's goal in the 35th minute of the match gave Manchester United the lead. In the first half, Manchester United's players have 54% of the ball position. And managed to make a total of 8 shots. Only one of these shots was on target. So there is no chance to say that Manchester United dominated the first half. However, Manchester United's overall performance was quite good. And United's chances of winning are also high in this match.

Manchester united would have conceeded number of goals during the first half, both sides are fair in their performance so far ,but Manchester united had their very own opportunity and utilized it.  It now looked as they are playing pass their visitors, their game is very much balanced,  and if you could check the stats of the game, possession and ball on target is 52%- 48%, whereas ball/shots on target is one to one [ 1-1]

Since Manchester United played very well in the first half, I thought that maybe Manchester United could win by a small margin until the end. But Manchester United failed to win the match. The match was drawn 1-1. Manchester United may have been able to attack more. At the same time, the players of Manchester United have been able to create a lot of scoring opportunities. But the team could not score any goals in the second half. At the same time, Twente's players were able to equalize the match despite attacking less. I don't know when we will see good performances from Manchester United players again. I'm sick of seeing United perform like this.
