The match is worth waiting for and I can wait to see how Jose Mourinho will prepare his team for this big encounter and welcoming of his former team once again. It has really been a while and many things have happened since he left, so I don’t think he may get it that easily even though Manchester United are not giving that positive vibe of performing well this season and finishing in a very good position. Manchester United is a team that may still surprise us in this match and win the match despite their poor performance so far this season.

Although, this is the Europa League which more is expected from them and they also know that they have to give more than they’re giving in other competitions before they can go far in this competition. The format has really changed and the new format requires them to give in more effort than they use to before if at all they participated in the competition recently. Eric Ten Hag is not giving that notion that he can do well for the team this season, but that still doesn’t give away the fact that he’ll win this match and earn some points for Manchester United in this game. I will be well anticipating for this match because it’s promising to be a great game to watch.

I think this is a fair assessment, but still the odds for Tottenham to win will not be 1.2 but higher, something like 1.3-1.35. Bookmakers take into account that Tottenham already have 6 points and there is no great motivation to work hard in a secondary competition, while AZ Alkmaar only have 3 points, plus for them any game in European cups gives increased motivation, especially against big clubs (for AZ Alkmaar Tottenham is definitely a big club).

The Europa League and the Champions League over the last 10 seasons have basically had different winning teams, but there is only one team that has managed to have more than one trophy, in the Champions League obviously the team is Real Madrid and in the Europa League is Sevilla and both are La Liga teams. But indeed, in this season for the Europa League I also became confident in Tottenham because after all, Ange Postecoglou did manage to make Tottenham at least better.

Manchester United can win the Europa League if they can be consistent, this consistency and improvement is not just on the defense, which have somehow been better this season but also the attack and the midfield needs to do much more better, they are seriously lacking there especially in the the attack.

There are so many teams that has the potential to win this trophy in the competition but it all boils down to team play and performances especially as competition goes deeper, just like we saw last season when Atalanta came out victorious after defeating the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen.

Manchester United will lose to Mourinho that's what I think will happen, Manchester united aren't in a good shape to win any game right now. Mourinho will take advantage of the situations at Manchester united my working mind games with them and use that to his advantage to win the game. The last time that this two clubs meet, it was Fenerbahçe that won Manchester united, they'll still be coming with that mindset and it can help them to play very confident to win Manchester united that aren't at their best. The problem with their instability is that even if they play normally at first, they can let things go towards the end and concede goals quickly, bringing the match to a draw, this has happened many times before. At least in the Europa League Twente are more realistic when they can't get 3 points then 1 point they have to get because they realize that their probability when compared to Manchester United or some clubs that are more experienced in big competitions is smaller so they just have to get points to try to compete for the next phase.

But this is different from Manchster United because when compared to some of the clubs that are in this competition then of course they are a club that is at a greater level, in terms of experience, the quality of the club and of course the players they have are far superior but in the end with everything they have it does not guarantee they don't get into trouble.

Facing Fenerbahce they still have the advantage of some things but with their quality now especially for performance problems, honestly 3 points for them I still doubt it even though they are quite a favorite in this match.

Apart from this match being about a former club that Jose Mourinho once coached and the current club he's coaching now, Jose Mourinho is always careful when his team meets with any premier league teams so i feel that it will be a very tough game between Manchester united and Fenerbahce even though Manchester united is not in a good form. Jose Mourinho once met Manchester united in the Europa league in 2021 when he was Roma's coach and he won Manchester united while at home by 3:2 while Solskjaer the then Manchester united boss won them at Old Trafford by 6:2 which led to an aggregate of 8:5 in favor of Manchester united. Jose Mourinho won the Europa league trophy for Manchester united in 2017 when he was their head coach. I think Fenerbahce meeting Manchester united will be an interesting match to watch.

You're right. There is no way that someone assumes Mourinho's team to win easily against Man United. His statement sounds like too underestimate Man United, it is like Man United is a small team (mediocre).   We know that Man United performed inconsistently, they are probably to miss points in Fenerbahce home, but it won't be an easy match for Fenerbahce. Man United actually has quality players, they only still can't play as a solid team. When they can play solidly, they could beat Man City (check the FA Cup final 2024).

Well, Fernaberche has the advantage because they will play at home. It will boost the morale or mentality of Fenerbahce players. However, I hope they won't be too confident when they play against a big team like Man United. Man United has quite strong attackers, specifically the wingers. This you have expressed is what Manchester United management refuse to understand. I believe that the problem of Manchester United is more of psychological type than physical problem. The mentality of the players and the moral is somewhat low and that is why they will continue to produce mediocre results. This is because the manager is not on his toes. If the manager should acknowledge that his job is at risk, he will have no option than to pressurize the boys to produce best results. He will also be forced to try some other tactics that could be effective. It is because he is not being pressured and he is psychologically unaffected, that is why he will continue to use a method that is ineffective and trying to get something different from the old ineffective method. ETH still has good chances in the Europa league, but his chances are zero in the league.
