How Do I Change My Signature? In my profile page, the "signature" section is blank without any text editor.

Go to your profile and click on the forum information option that’s shown on the left side of your screen in your profile. Check through the available option and you will see the signature part. With your rank, there is only a little  that can be allowed there.

Newbies - Read before posting

Due to excessive garbage-posting, you now need 1 merit to be a Jr Member. All existing Jr Members who didn't meet the requirement were demoted. Also, newbies can no longer set any signature or personal text.

To wear your signature or personal text, your account needs to be at least Junior Member. To wear an avatar, your account must be at least Full member.

As a brandnew, newbie account, no signature, no personal text, no avatar.

You can buy a Copper membership to have some bonuses.
Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images and some permissions like Member-rank members.

I just don’t know what is happening. Is it lack of patience to learn and have the knowledge, or is it because there are curious people? I can’t still understand because why is it always the newbie that doesn’t wait to have what they can get in the forum? Although I know as a beginner in everything you are more likely to be curious, so you are not supposed to be blamed. 
 
All you need to know about the forum is already published, and from seeing the thread, other members have already provided you with the possible links that you need, so be patient and learn more about the forum so that you can enjoy your moments in the forum and have the experience that you need.

Newbies cannot wear signature but if you have reach the rank that allows you to wear signature which is junior member rank..here is how to go about it.

You can as well wait and be patient till you achieve more higher rank like the member rank before you can be able to apply to use a signature code, aside this, you may as well not be able to wear an avatar until you achieve a full member rank to your profile, except you purchase a corper member rank for having the access to post an avatar while you will have to wait till you achieve higher rank than newbie in other to wear a signature code.

You have a long way to go mate.
Before being able to add signatures to you profile, you need to be a jr member of the Bitcointalk forum which you can achieve that after having 14 activity with at least one merits.

This question looks somehow because you are yet to browse round the forum for interactions and further guides, you only post in politics and society sections which is not bad, but with your aim of wearing signature, you need to show some level of seriousness through learning and sharing important contents about Bitcoin to earn merits before been able to wear signature.

As a newbie now you still have some journey to go before before you can able to wear signature, is good to ask questions whenever a you across in this forum and you didn’t understand, but i think it’s early to ask this type of questions because I ca see in your profile you still in zero merit and at least you suppose have one merits with somes activity before you can rank up to the jr. members.

But for now you can’t the only thing for you to face now is for you to go through some previous threads been reading them so that you can know how this forum operates well, and from there you can know how to create a better content which can generate you a lot of merits for to ranks up to the next level.

Your account rank does not permit the use of signature codes, besides what do you even need a signature for at this early stage of your account but if you are up to bringing anything tangible to forum members through the use of images or signature codes or Avatar you should consider buying a copper membership, though I only know that copper membership supports mostly images but since it is stated that it can also provide same benefits as someone who has a member rank account so possibly it may also include the privilege of using a signature code.
Am not sure anyway someone can still clarify that .

Op your profile haven't reached the requirement level to put on any signature code, first you need merit and activities to grow and attain the full member rank to become eligible for putting on or wearing any signature code on your profile. Therefore if you aim to do so you still have to put in some effort and have positive contributions to the forum in order for you to get Merited and grow in rank to wear signature codes.

I guess you did receive lots of replies regarding your problem and you probably know now that there is newbie restrictions on putting signatures. The copper membership is a good one to bypass this aside from waiting and being active here, so make your choice.

As long as you are still in the Newbie rank, you cannot change your signature. To use a signature and complete it with personal text, you must at least rank up to Junior Member. Lack of knowledge makes you ask questions like this, you can read the explanation shared (_act_) on how to add or edit a signature on your account profile.
Don't rush, my friend, currently you are still in the Newbie rank, so don't be surprised if your profile doesn't have space to enter a signature code, personal text and you can't use an Avatar. To achieve it you need to raise the account rank first, you can use Avatar when the account is already in the Full Member rank. So be patient my friend, enjoy the process first, you can use all of that when the time comes.

It does not complete anything. You can use a signature and personal text when your account is at Junior member rank or you can decide to use none of them, or only one of them like signature without personal text or personal text without signature. It's personal choice.

I don't think so ^(IMO), there are several or number of legendary ^{(and other higher than full member)} who bought copper membership just for fun or for additional "label or badge" on its profile.
But, yes, that paid membership rank is intended for low rank users who want to bypass account limitations, more precisely for service's representative account.

When I can in to the bitcointalk newly, I was so worried to see my signature box empty. I actually felt it was improper as I saw most users profiles with signature texts and avatars filled.

Later on, I realized what they were all for.
So to the OP, you just understand what profile signatures are all about so that you don't worry yourself much when you don't have some necessary reasons for it. But then, you must understand that you are still a newbie so at your rank, you will be unable to update that feature not until you ranks up probably from Junior rank and above.

Meanwhile... It does not really mean that because you have achieved a great rank that it is a compulsory to update your profile signatures. You really need reasons for it as for the signatures, they are of either to promote projects, companies or personal ideal or obligations.
I just wanted you to understand the validity of profile signatures.
