I don't think i would call trading a job, i know i have read that some people take trading as their full time job, but i would not recommend that to people, it is too risky to do, you cannot depend on just trading as your source of income.

Bitcoin, FIAT, gold & silver are commodities, they have value, but among these four the one that has the advantage in terms of privacy is bitcoin, that's why these days, global or internet criminals are taking advantage of this advantage of Bitcoin.

Sometimes parents won't always support you with what you have in mind because they do not have knowledge of new innovations. But it is all good that you have a source of income to start bitcoin investment because investment in bitcoin depends if you have something doing that generates a source of income or not. Even if your parents support you to invest bitcoin then, and they didn't also support financially it would have been difficult for you to have a successful investment.

But now you have a source of income which you don't need to depend on your parents for finance you need to prove to them that you were not wrong with the idea of investing bitcoin. You can only prove them wrong with the good result of your investment and to achieve this you must have the understanding of bitcoin and do things right to have a successful investment,  with this it will be easy for you to convince them and make them to understand what bitcoin investment is all about.

The lessons that our parents learned back then while useful they are not the whole truth, this is because the world is always evolving and what worked on the past may not work on the future, and while working hard is important, there is no doubt that it is not enough either, since I am sure we have seen cases of people that worked all their life and at the end they never achieved the lifestyle they wanted, so if we do not want the same to happen to us we need to try to find paths in which this can become an achievable goal, and investing in bitcoin is one of those paths that can without a doubt help us to achieve our objectives.

BTC has a transparent blockchain, mixers are risky to use because of their custodial nature and not everyone can use CoinJoin, nor can they efficiently stay private when they use BTC. I believe criminals would prefer cash for illicit tx's because it is very difficult to trace, i am not talking about digital fiat tx's, but cash, this is part of the reasons why governments want to lauch cbdc's and why merchants receiving cash deposits above a certain limit have to report it to the authorities, cash is a perfect tool for money laundering.

If you are still viewing this OP I guess its good to become independent with your parents even they didn't support you at all and you see the potential of the bitcoin and its good for you because you have at the early state with the idea of investment and how does it make a risk with the market volatility. Good thing you can do is to prove to them that you are capable already to decide in your own with your investments. In terms of actual activity this can still be called a job but its nature becomes flexible where it is not too good if it is used as a full-time job and maybe it will be more suitable if it is used as a part-time job.

But indeed regardless of the mention of whether this is said to be a job or not I don't think it's a problem that should be messed with because everyone has their own perspective on it, which is clear in this case those who do consider themselves traders must understand that in the end being here is not an easy thing and for those who are new to bitcoin do not do this as an experiment out of curiosity because this will endanger themselves, especially in their financial problems.

We need to be wise in responding to this, don't let the thought of being here just for instant profit make you wrong in acting which in the end makes regret at the end.

Just continue to work hard, invest what you can into Bitcoin & other hard assets, you’ll be able to live a happy, comfortable life when you are older then hopefully. It’s good to see you showing and having interest in bitcoin in such a young age. There’s this belief that the young ones have a sharper brain than the older ones and they can easily understand and assimilate things faster. Since you’re working and getting paid and also if not reporting to your parents, you can spare some reasonable amount from your salary to invest in bitcoin. If you’ve understood it as you said, all the advantage and disadvantages will be known to you by now and what you need to avoid.

Having a physical job will make you earn money, and when you've saved enough, then proceed in educating yourself for your ideal investment. Bitcoin is a smart choice, but without knowing its basics, you will never be in profits. So get a real job, then save for your side hustle. If these two will work out longer, you will have a good flow of income in the future.

Since you are directing part of your salary into Bitcoin investment, I think that is a good idea but also, you have to understand that Bitcoin investment has it own risk and you should be ignorant of it. Sometimes the market might go bullish and everyone could be happy about it and other time, the price might go bear which will make some newbies investors to start panicking on whether to sell part of their holdings or keep hiking for as long as possible. It is good you make your own decisions based on how much you are earning and afford for now because we don't really know what you are really passing through at this stage of your life until you share it to us as a story.

Whoever they are, they are wrong. You don't have to prove that with Bitcoin. We are in the 21st century. Work isn't anymore about physical labor. Jobs don't have to be physically demanding anymore. A lot of people are now working sitting down in the comfort of their home. Mentally draining, possibly, but you don't have to move a lot of muscles anymore to work.

That's right, I agree with you. In earlier times, there was a lot of physical labour, hard work, and little pay. Then the times changed and hard work started earning good money. Development people got the education and got high positions all this also required physical labour and time but in today's age when everything can be done online.

There are so many things that you can earn money from home, you don't need to be just a trader, you are doing basic work from home, and there are thousands of other jobs that people do in the online world. They are earning millions of dollars through this.

Even less educated people are doing good online earning due to which their lives have improved. People should be aware of more and more online tasks so that they can improve their present and future. People who are trading with a small amount of money are actually learning that will serve them well in the future even if they are not making much right now but the experience is so valuable.

I have to agree with you at some point. Most particularly that most jobs these days are already operated online so whether it's offline or online, we can find good jobs that will definitely pay us with good compensation. However, when it comes to stability, it could be more preferable working with physical jobs but talking about high paying jobs, online jobs are capable for that. Trading could be a job for others, but I suggest just make it a side hustle knowing how risky it is to become a job.

The major disadvantages of online jobs is that it is most times regarded as side hustle and as such, there's no job security. In place of job security, online workers tend to handle many jobs at a time, such that when one is not paying, the other is paying.

About bitcoin investment, it requires you to have a steady income for investment. Whether the income comes online or offline, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that an investor should have something that brings cash for the investment.

Hi Frennn welcome to the club, and super elite club haha. Back then when I was young my friend my parent and my brother didn't believe what I can do in this scrypto space but times marches on and I can make hundred dollar just by doing an online job and etc and they also start to believe me.

Investment here in Indonesia is sometimes only looked by half eye and they usually said Online investment is a scam.

I support your desire to study this crypto forum so that you can earn money without relying on capital from your parents. Nothing is impossible in this modern era where everything is online, even though many people don't believe that working without using physical means will result in greater income. Many people still not believes in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency because they thinks that how that can give you money while you don't do anything and only hold it for some years. Well that is normal to see people thinks like that so we don't have to force them to follows what we do and let them decide it later when they see we can change into a better life.

We can make money first from other sources such as from our job so we can have money to start investing in Bitcoin. First of all, welcome here to the forum OP. Not sure if I'm going to be impressed with your young age to discover or learned about Bitcoin because the internet is so accessible right now and then Bitcoin is already popular even a few years ago. I still salute you for pursuing your interest and becoming a part of this community. Not only on yours but a lot of parents are like that. It is hard for them to believe or be convinced about Bitcoin.

I guess it is because of their old age. You know, mature people are not really into techy stuffs but we can increase our chance and make things easy if we show them proof or just give them some starch of our hard work in Bitcoin. Don't say that your story doesn't make any sense. That's not true. It may be short but I can feel it. It is inspiring not only to those underage people but also to the adults as well to not underestimate some things only because they are not familiar with it.

On your question if there will be no money if no physical jobs, you already proved it on your own because it seems you worked for one first before you got yourself a Bitcoin but for others, it is possible for them to produce money the other way around.
