This result I'm seeing in this table is very fair and good for super Eagles and this means that super Eagles will qualify being being the top of the table. u
Under the former coach I was made to understand that our chances of qualifying for afcon is becoming slimmer. Or was it was another competition? Most times I don't follow all these qualifications.
But whatever it might be, I see that many Nigerian players came back for this qualification, which means we'll likely beat our next opponent Libya.

Nigeria has managed to retain the top spot in the table. The team won against Benin in the first match. And among the teams in Group D, Nigeria is the strongest. Benin, Rwanda and Libya are not strong opponents for Nigeria. Talented players like Osimhen and Boniface are in Nigeria's squad. Lookman and Osimhen's superb performances saw Nigeria win 3-0 against Benin. Lookman scored two goals and Osimhen scored one goal in this match.
Nigeria team will probably be able to win against Libya in the next match. Libya as an opponent is a weak team, Libya was defeated against Benin in the last match.

I was unable to watch the match with Rwanda, but I had that Nigeria's obvious goal was ruled out by the officials. How true is this?

Against Rwanda I thought Nigeria would win. But the two teams shared the points in the match. Both teams could not score any goal in this match. But I don't understand why the Nigeria coach doesn't include Osimhen in his starting XI. Osimhen is a very talented player. But Nigeria's coach is not interested in Osimhen. Osimhen should be given more opportunities.

After the performance from the game against Benin, Nigerians expected at least one goal in this game. The super eagles were wasteful until the end. I Concord with you. And I believed over confident to win the next game is the cause of the whole thing. Because when they won the Benin Republic Match, they said they would not overlook Rwanda and they would win the game. And Rwanda played well in the first half and they loss guide in the second half but was able to defend themselves till the game end and that is good tactics to play football to draw. There are sometimes, people don't like to watch Nigeria games because of heart attack and disappointment. As for me I prefer watching Morocco, Mali matches because they good in football.

And I believed it was true but along the line something has happened in the night for him to accept it back because the agreement was two game and after the two games he would be terminated and NFF would look for a befitting coach to replace him but as he won the first match and draw the second game, I am suspecting that they might use him as the head coach of the team.

Exactly, it is also surprising to me because earlier before now when it comes to Africa football Mozambique wasn't there, it is really a good thing seeing African national teams doing well in terms of football, congratulations to them, yes of course the game of football can be very complex to understand because of some factors thats why if any team wants to maintain superiority over teams that are seen to be weak, they must be prepared at all time to make that a continues thing if not weaker teams can suprise them because every weak teams wants to make a difference someday and the effort they put in must times are very unbelievable.

It is unfortunate that Nigerian didn't win that match against Rwanda although it happens but I think Nigeria would have utilized this opportunity but it fails to work in their favour, they game ended in a goalless draw which is also a good one instead of losing to the Rwanda team.
In the aspect where you deviated to, I must comend you for bringing that here but those things will only get the adequate attention they need when our leaders start thinking about digitalization development for now our leaders are still timid without foresight and busy looting the pubic treasury to enrich themselves as such they don't see those things you mentioned as priority.

I was amazed that Mozambique could win Guinea -Bissau. The boys were just so determined and it payed off. I don't know Mozambique for their football progress, hence my surprise in the win. Anyways, teams can improve their gameplay and I give them credit for such improvement. It's also good to note that they're at the top of their group table too although with the same afterwards as Mali.

Nigeria on the other hand failed to create a beautiful memory in their match with Rwanda. Their modifiers were not creative enough to body attacks that could convert. To me it was a disappointing match compared to their previous match. Although they lead their group, the result was rather disappointing to me. We're hopeful of better things futuristically.

Fair and good indeed but I think they would need to put more efforts doing much better than this because you never can tell what the next  opponents  are up to. This is football and no one can tell how the game is going to look like or who would win because there is always a dramatic turn around at every instances or chances available.

Nigeria is a stronger and better team hence every opponents we meet try their possible best to play their all till the final whistle is blown either draw or win, they would want it in their favor so they do not loose out entirely. This is enough reasons why our national team needs to do much better since their last 3 nil display was a superb, they should not expect to see a cool and easy game to win.

Winning one game and getting a point in the other one isn't a bad start for the Super Eagles 2025 CAF African Cup Nations qualifiers but looking at the table in the image you provided above, it's very safe to say that it's not an updated version of the table. Libya were able to narrowly get an away win against Benin yesterday which now took them to level with Nigeria. However, the Super Eagles are still at the top of the group because of their better goal difference.

I don't want to agree to your ideology about the result of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. We can say they were very poor in their performances during the June FIFA International Break where they failed to win in any of the two games they played but we saw how they performed extremely well at this year's CAF African Cup Nations tournament. I believe the change in the coaching role of the team affected their performance but with what we've been seeing from Austin Eguavon in the last two games, I'm very confident that they'll continue to improve in games to come

The Rwanda attack on the supper eagles defense on the second half was stronger than the first half, with the way the both side is struggling getting over 0.5 on this match may not even be possible, well it would have been very nice if the supper eagles will win this match so that it will add for them on there table, today's match is tougher for them because the Rwanda team is very difficult to beat if not with all the efforts of Lookman and Osimhen they would have gotten one goal by now, though I think it would have been more better if Osimhen had played on the first half instead of the second half because on the first half Rwanda team was a bit weak, so that would have been the opportunity for Osimhen to utilize.

I said this earlier that Nigeria should not underrate Rwanda because from the results of their previous meetings you'll see how sturbon and solid they've always been against Nigeria. It's not the result we wanted and I must admit that super eagle played a perfect match but unfortunately the officiating was too bad. I see nothing wrong with that fantastic goal that refree canceled.

I have the same belief too that Osimhen would have score at least one or more if the couch had start with him from first half. All praise to Rwanda goal keeper who denied super eagle numerous goals with those excellent saves.

I think the Super Eagles been known for their inconsistency in winning matches their beating Benin Republic 3:1 got into their heads that they felt a bit comfortable playing against Rwanda with the assumption that it's a small team to beat as well.

 They failed to take a few of the chances they had and that led to that draw in that game. Not starting Victor Osimhen in that game was also one of the mistake the coach made as a decision because playing both Osimhen and Lookman at a start would have intensified the pressure in front which could have made a positive result than a draw.

Bruno Labbadia former Germany coach also rejected the offer of coaching Super Eagles. And according to him, the team of the offer is too poor and that is what NFF is hoping to bring to the Super Eagles and if Eguavoen wanted to quit the job i also believed the news because as you said also it was called to assure two matches and the two games has been completed soif he wanted to but NFF want to keep him for the main time so they can use this period to look for a new coach. Austin Eguavoen's performance so far is encouraging. He has shown that he can help the Super Eagles qualify for the African Cup of Nations if he is given the opportunity. I think they should extend his contract to enable him to put in his best since he got two good results. The draw in Kigali might be disappointing but we saw that the Super Eagles dominated the games but were just unlucky not to get at least a goal.

The general performance of the client improved and it seems like the interim coach has commands lots of respect from the players. Finidi George couldn't control and unite the players, but Austin has achieved that. We saw Victor Osimhen was kept on the bench and he seems to be okay with that. Even on the bench, he has kept supporting the team. Eguavoen should be given more time, and NFF should take more time to discover and get a quality foreign coach.

What's up with coaches rejecting our national offer even to the point of our own local coaches rejecting offer. I am beginning to wonder if NFF really wish the national team well because funds have been released for this exercise which should not call for any delay as to payment as Nigeria is capable of funding whatever is the challenge of the national team. I am curios because the team should have been settled with a coach by now and money should not be our national team problem besides the federal government through sports ministry already allocated funds for it. So why the delay in getting a coach for the job.

However, Mozambique did well yesterday, and Guima scored their first goal at the earliest part of the game (5 minutes) and Guinea -Bissau also scored their goal at 24 minutes by Balde. Actually the first half was the highest scored part of the game. Although Mozambique missed few chances at first half but they still managed to win the match.
However, I like the facts that the Mozambique players were seriously playing the game yesterday, not like the way super eagles played a wired game yesterday. Actually am happy for the Mozambique football team, they tried.
Second half of the game was interesting, mostly at 73 minutes that Mozambique scored their second goal, it made the Guinea Bissau players to put more efforts to scored back.

I don't want to believe you were trying to insinuate that the fate of the eagles was literally on the shoulder of a player and they were depending on him so much that they lost the game because he was payed early enough to get the chance to deliver the eagles, you should also remember that in the last game before this, the same player was brought in late and he still scored a goal so basically the issue generally is with the team and not the presence of a particular player.

Mind you the eagles had a very sharp and clean goal in the first half but the referee denied them and i believe it was as well a problem to them somehow because playin against a team you have not often recorded success against and you eventually score a goal, getting it canceled could be really discouraging and may affect players performance. there was no solid reason enough to cancel the goal the ref did canceled.

I disagree with you here. In the first game that was played the Super Eagles were winging already before Osimehn was brought during the second half. And the coach has good reason for keeping Osimehn till the second half of the game which i clearly understand. If the rest of the team had played well they will would ive won the game. Now, imagine if Osimehn was not fit for the competition will the rest of the team rely on him to win the match and qualify? Dont get m wrong I am not saying that Osimeh coming in the second half did not bring about any changes it will because he is one of our best players. And he might have scored if more goal opportunities were given to him. But the fact still remains that a team should be able to maintain good performance in the absence or presence of their best player.

Nigeria is favorite to win todays game against Rwanda despite they will be playing at away, Nigeria have more quality players compare to Rwanda though wining in football doesn't necessarily mean you have quality players but there is an advantage, if Nigeria didn't take Benin republic for granted by winning benin republic 3-0, I don't think they will take Rwanda for granted for no team should be underated.

And it's so sad the match didn't go as predicted, as the game ended draw between Rwanda and Nigeria, which is one thing we least expected due to the last performance our Super Eagles made against Benin Republic, giving us high hopes, only for them to disappoint us big time this evening with a draw, of which it's seems it's now a tradition for our Super Eagles to always either lose or draw while playing away and win while playing home, because to be frankly, there is no Nigerian who never thought this match won't be a win/win for us, as it was a game played below our expectations, despite the presence of Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhem" both from the beginning of the game and second half.

The Super eagles have secured four points from the last two games. Osimhen is not very fit at the moment and just completing his move to Galatasaray, though he scored in the last game I still feel he needs some time. We have good players like Awoniyi and Boniface who are also good and able to start ahead of Victor Osimhen.

This is what I was expecting too but luckily our people were fair enough with our super eagle players. I like how Nigerians normally react with criticism when our boys play poorly and appreciate them when they play excellently. Our game with Rwanda did not turn out as expected but the performance from our boys earned them a word of appreciation because most comments I have come across online and offline are positive comments with encouragement to put more effort in their next game. I think having four points from two games with three goals scored without conceding a single goal is not a bad result. Moreover, Nigeria still control the top spot of the table with few games to go.
