Are you asking what he achieved with our team? did you not watch the AFCON? He did not win a trophy then but during the AFCON the super eagles looked the best they've been since a very long time. We finished with a silver, not the best achievements, but still an achievement. The standard on the team is now high, any new coach is expected to start meeting up.

Football is a team sport but Victor Osimhen’s impact in the performance of the Super Eagles cannot be underestimated. Nigerians forget too quickly, opposing teams recognize the brilliance of Osimhen and usually put two or more players on him. We need Osimhen on our side, I know the club’s management is trying to punish Osimhen for his outburst against Super Eagles legend and former coach Finidi George but the reality is that we really need Osimhen in the team. Osimhen is not the first player to have character flaws neither is he the first player who has misunderstandings with his coach. What we should focus on is his contributions to the team.

Yea exactly what am asking. Because I also did followed up the entire AFCON games particularly the Super Eagles matches which was of very interest to me. In all the games the super Eagles played we all thought they were at their best because they were narrowly winning the matches against their opponent, not until at the finals when they played against Ivory Coast (Cote D'Ivoire) that was when Poseiro was exposed that he had no tactics at all,

all other games were a camouflage of a better team we thought we were because Ivory Coast disciplined us throughout the whole 90minutes and sincerely it was a shameful loss. Settling for a silver wasn't what he was employed to give, we were the best squad with quality players than any other national team in that AFCON tournament.

He has been linked with a Saudi Arabian club offering him this figure in the above image, while Chelsea are also in contact with him regardless of this offer from the Saudi Arabian Club. As a fan fond of Manchester United, I wouldn't want to see Victor Oshime joining Chelsea again after that game I finally saw against Wolverhampton during the weekend. Everything depends on what exactly he wants at the moment, if the money is what he intends to get at the moment then the Saudi pro league is just the best option currently but if he wants an European exposure then Chelsea is the best move from which he may get other moves in the future, it's much easier to move from Chelsea to other teams than moving from the Saudi pro league back to England or Europe as a whole, in a long time I have not seen movement of such manner so I doubt the ease in such a move, so for .e the best bet is Chelsea first than in the future he can go to other leagues.

Oboy na money everyone dey fine so it is better he cancel the deal with Chelsea to join Saudi Arabia club because the pay there is much more attractive. Chelsea was also playing with him so it is good he reject their offer and accept Saudi Arabia deal. Omen Victor Osimhen is the latest news for all the social media in the country.

what a disgrace to the NFF. what prompted them to make a public announcement about the man when they've not agreed on mutual terms? so its barely few days away from the super eagles next game and they are not sure of who is going to serve as the head coach of the team? from Monday, they will be opening the super eagles camp ahead of the coming games and till today that's Friday we cant tell who is the coach of the super eagles. maybe they will have to be prepared to coach themselves since the NFF cant get a coach for them

What do you mean by 'why is he thinking of this offer', he has a life decision to make here because he can end his career from this decision and gets nothing for all the works he has put in to become a football legend.

What sort of career earns you alot of  trophies but in reality, you ain't even that rich and comfortable? They all do what they do cause they're getting paid and that's professionalism ... All he rather wants is creating a legacy -- making a name that we'd rate as one of the greatest in African football history.... thereby, securing a ballon d'ors, a champion league title and many more into his cabinet.

Our leaders just keep on bringing disgrace to Nigeria due to their incompetency and greed in whatever decisions that they are making. Imagine the unprofessional act of announcing someone that has not agreed on paper to be the super Eagles head coach.

This shows that Nigeria is lacking a lot amd klknv the spirit of football and sport in this country. I don't know the bunch of people who are in charge of NFF, they need to get rid of them because this is the worst that I have heard since NFF was set up. Poor players, how do you expect them to play with passion for their country who dies not care about giving them the best to be successful.

Mhan., This is a very disappointing scenario. HTf does a whole national team association of cooperate administrators not know what and how to sign and fill in an agreement with a particular manager?? What was the idea behind publishing someone that hasn't even agreed on whether or not he'd take the job? 85% of the problems were facing is as a result of selfish Democratical decisions and political fraud. Everyone tends to view every sit, position, portfolio as an opportunity to have a huge share of what they renowned - THE NATIONAL CAKE!

In a few days, my country's national team (Mozambique) will play against Mali, but it is unbelievable that my country's football federation has not yet renewed the contract with the national coach. Even though this coach managed to make my country's national team win again after many years, my country's football federation still wanted to bring in another coach who in the past brought bad results, all because the current coach does not accept shady schemes coming from my country's football federation. One of the big problems that I have always said that makes African football low compared to European football is corruption. These shady schemes that are in the football federations in Africa are seriously damaging our football.

I just verified this news, and I must say that it is very embarrassing and reflects the level of disorganization in the NFF. No coach would really like to associate with such, especially a coach who is concerned about their record. With this level of disorganization, there is no need to expect much from the players.

As for Victor Osimhen, there is no deal for him with Chelsea, and if he cannot complete his moves to Saudi Arabia, he will remain with Napoli until the next opportunity. His value will likely drop because, under Conte as Napoli Coach, he will not have minutes to play. Napoli have Lukaku now.

From the little research which I made, it is clear that Drogba ha s scored more goal than Sallah in EPL, and Drogba has also won EPL titles more than Sallah. Talking about highest goal scorer is what I know that Sallah has won more than Drogba, and this is because during Drogba time, there were a lot of professional strikers like Ronaldo and the rest giving Drogba little opportunity to win the highest goal scorer.

I think that you have forgotten about the reigning days of Drogba because he is no longer playing on the pitch and you are only carried away with what is happening currently because Sallah is still on the pitch. Yakubu is right.

I don't think there is a point comparing the record of Salah to that of drogba. Both played at different period with different sets of players in different clubs so we can't really make a good comparison here. Drogba was a world class player and has won the EPL with Chelsea and won other trophies with good statistics to show for. Salah has done same and is still at his peak even in the current season. Both are good players and so far we've not seen a more consistent African player that have reached thier level at the EPL. All this comparison is what brings disrespect and contention between past and present players and it's not needed at all. We have African players that are rising and are still doing well at the EPL that still needs projection. The likes of madueke and saka are growing into those future top class African players but they've all chosen to represent England which isn't a good one at all.

For me Yakubu is not wrong by saying that because even if we conduct more analysis we would always arrived to the point of Yakubu, during the era of Drogba everybody's knows how good he is on the premier League, however even with your analysis is already obvious that Drogba is more better than Mohammed salah and I believe that Yakubu was not being bias when he said that because he is a player that was ones cherished by everyone so actually he stands on better position to draw that analysis, I wonder how people can easily forgot so soon because the impact Drogba made on Chelsea and entire premier league has always left a footprint, though we also no that Mohammed salah has also impacted similarly as Drogba but he is not up to Drogba's achievement.

Personally I think Mohammed Salah is better because he's not just a goal scorer but also a creator and has remained a constant threat all through the seasons that he has played in the Premier League.

I don't think the NFF did anything wrong in this case, they had an agreement in principle/verbal agreement with Bruno Labbadia before they made that announcement, it is not like they didn't have an agreement, they did. I know due to how things are run in the country, all of us are quick to blame our organizations, but in this case, it is Labbadia that is to blame.

The reason why the deal fell through is that Bruno Labbadia wanted the NFF to cover his salary and also pay his tax in full to the German government, the NFF rightly rejected, because i don't think he is such a great manager to make such a demand. Thus our search for a coach goes on, but we have an interim manager, and that is Augustine Eguavoen, he will manage Nigeria in our games against Benin and Rwanda, on September 7th and 10th respectively, so let us back the manager and the team.

During the last game they played under finidi George, one of the issue was that most of them were reluctant to come early to camp which affected how well they trained before the went on against thier opponents.  16  key players being already on ground five days to the match is not a bad one at least they still have 2 full training days to bond well together before the final day of the match.

Eguavoen who is to lead the super eagles ahead of Morocco 2025 after the crash of labdadia deal with NFF will have to handle this impromptu task of heading heading the eagles within this short period of time to at least get a victory in this must qualification games since it's becoming clearer by the day that our chances of making it to the world cup is void.

Augustine Eguavoen has been selected as the new head coach of the Super Eagles and will lead the Super Eagles in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Augustine Eguavoen will be assisted by the Enugu Rangers head coach "Alongside Ilechukwu" and Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede. The assistant head coach will help the Super Eagle in their crucial encounter against the Benin Republic and Rwanda.
